It was early in the morning, A short thin women in a black pencil skirt, short black heels, and a light turquoise blouse decorated in geometric, southwest patterns strode down the hallway, a slight bounce in her step as she carried a box with things to fill her office space with. Kasa came early to give her time to set up and go through the administrative hoop-jumping; hoping to take care of it all today before opening up a class for students to register in. Her brown eyes scanned the rows of doors searching for the office that she's been assigned to," 202. 204. 206...208, here we are." She muttered, her lips tugging into a smile. Kasa carefully fumbled with the box to balance it between her hip and arm as she fished for the office key in her purse.

A moment later the door was open, she propped open the door with a nearby little door wedge. It was a simple office meant for two professors, with a window looking out the front of the building. a desk on either side of the room with cabinet space, a computer and a small bookcase next to the desk, a cork board up against the wall of the desk and a rather cozy looking office chair with the plastic hard mat underneath so the chair could roll easily on the office's carpeted floor. Kasa set the box down on the desk to the right, getting to work on claiming her space. Filling the first shelf of the bookshelf with academic books and binders, decorating the cork board with photos and a calendar, She placed a Katsina doll on the desk next to her computer along with rocks of varying appearances and sizes, all small enough to fit in the palm of someone's hand.

She sat down in the swivel chair after she laid a coyote pelt over the back of the chair to complete the look of her office. Scooting closer to the desk towards the computer, thin fingers starting to tip-tapping away on the keyboard, pausing to dig into her purse and pull up the email on her phone that had the log-in information before getting down to business with the administrative work.

By the time Kasa was typing away at her computer, Rhymien was sitting uncharacteristically quiet in the seat opposite her. It might have been hard to notice him except that he was a glowing, face-less being made of pure magic. So.

Still not talking, he began to mimic typing on the computer although his was unplugged and turned off. Despite that she couldn't see them, his eyes kept darting toward her.

After about a minute of this, he sighed obnoxiously, yawned in the same manner, and rose his arms above his head in a stretch. "Oooh the daily grind, am I right or am I right?"

Kasa would navigate the site's website, creating a brief profile of the classes she'd be teaching for students to pick from and reading through HR documents that these sort of office jobs often had you look through and sign to show that you have 'read' them. Her mind focused on her task at hand that she didn't realize the additional set of hands typing on a keyboard behind her. But it was the sigh and words of the faceless being that finally grasped her attention.

When his words reached her pointed ears, her shoulders jolted subtly and she swiveled around in her chair to look at the blue man, blinking in surprise at the sight before her. She was aware that there was a myriad of other magical and strange beings that filled the world; supernatural like her. However, she wasn't mentally prepared to have run into a glowing humanoid with no face.

She smiled at the glowing man, her cheeks tinting pink with embarrassment for her reaction prior, "You are right." She'd agree with amusement, relaxing her shoulders. "But, might as well get it out of the way now rather than stress about it later, no?" She asked, taking this moment to take in the appearance of the odd being. Looking back to where she assumed his eyes might be. "I am Kasa, what may I call you?" She would ask with excessive politeness, being a tad nervous for her first day on the job.

Rhymien didn't expect the calmness from her. Which was a first, because he nearly expected all things. She seemed nice, but that didn't deter Rhy from finding ways to poke at her.

He crossed his arms and reached up to tap at his chin in thought when she asked what she could call him.

"I'm always partial to 'I Am Blue' as a title, but people refuse to call me that. Rhyguy works. Rhymien, too, if you absolutely have to. Professor Azuredude is the most professional."

He stood up suddenly and approached her, leaning so he could look at her computer screen without any indication he understood what personal space was.

"You didn't actually read through it all did you? No, no, no, Kasa. Just hit accept. Never read all that mumbo-jumbo, that's how you go insane."

Kasa folded her hands together, her elbows resting on the armrests as she listened to the Few-Men-Short-Of-A-Blue-Men-Group. They sounded kind enough, a little funny too as he rattled off a long string of names he was called or would like to be called. "Hm..." She hummed with thought, "Would you be alright with me calling you Mr. Blue?" She would ask with a small grin, hoping it would satisfy his want to be called 'I am Blue.'

When he moved closer, realizing by the way his head was turned he was looking towards her computer. She'd turn in her chair to try and figure out what he was looking at. Her shoulder tensed by the closeness, but still maintaining her air of calm.

At his comment about reading the legal mumbo-jumbo, she couldn't help but laugh, her eyes scrunched at the corners a little as she grinned, " Oh yes, I learned that the hard way when these first started showing up. Sometimes I find myself still skimming it out of habit." She would admit sheepishly, moving the mouse and clicking accept on the terms. "I'm assuming you are a teacher here, yes?" she'd ask, turning somewhat to look at him.

"Yes! And by that I mean no, I would not mind. I Am Blue, after all. So I am Mr. Blue."

When Kasa turned in her chair to face Rhymien, he stepped back and stood tall, fists on his hips like some kind of superhero posture. "I am! Not even a janitor, imagine that. I teach Drama and improv. I'd say it was dull, except that I teach it so obviously it's not."

He went quiet, scrutinizing her, though, again, it really couldn't be seen. Rhymien decided then that he liked this woman. He liked this Kasa. She was fun and not easily annoyed. It was the first thing he tested in all potential friends/victims.

"I have decided I like you, Kasa! I like you enough to show you around the academy without too many detours, even. Wait," he scratched his hair with one finger. "You haven't already been around have you?"
