<div align=center>Hadrian shifted a little as Ania pushed herself close, hooking an arm around her shoulders and pulling her just a little closer. He didn't really mind that she hadn't looked away, why would she need to? A little voice asked, you're dating her. He lifted his head a short ways and glanced down to her when she spoke again. One hand moved to the top of her head, petting the girl softly as she talked. I ... Like being close to you. The boy smiled, a warm genuine smile that was really rather rare to see on his features. It only widened when the girl continued.

Those three words weren't something he'd ever heard. At least, not something anyone had ever said to him. All of a sudden he wanted to kiss the girl so desperately that it was difficult to remind himself she'd probably end up suffocating if he did that. Instead he shifted onto his side and tugged her to the middle of his chest, clinging tightly and pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head. "I love you too." He murmured, his voice struggling slightly to breach a whisper. "I... I love you a lot."</div>

Ania hadn't been expecting to be pulled, and surprised by the sudden action, she squeaked. She sort of understood how pets felt when toddlers clutched them and pet them. Not that she minded it, she was rather enjoying all the attention. Worming her way upwards, Ania curled into Hadrian's warmth, wishing very much that she could kiss him properly. That would have made a perfect moment, confessing that she loved him and delivering a kiss as a punchline. All the tension that she had built up had left as soon as he said he loved her back. It had been a little bit of a risky move, saying something like that so very soon, but she just felt so strongly.

She managed get into a spot where she could move one arm over his chest, pulling herself tighter in. "I'm so glad you love me. I don't think I've ever liked anyone this much, to be honest." With that weight off, she felt considerably more pleased. "One day, I'm going to kiss you. And you're not going to be able to do anything about it." Some way, she would find a solution. She decided that she wouldn't mind too terribly if she had to give up her powers for good, if it came to that.

<div align=center>Ania brought out a side of Hadrian that no one else really could. Sure, he could crack a fake smile for someone if it was needed. But it never was with her. He couldn't be fake with her, she was the only person that really did make him smile, with the exception of the tiger fast asleep downstairs from time to time. Hadrian fumbled backward for a moment, looking for the light switch. When he flicked it the room was plunged into a cosy kind of darkness that made Hadrian feel fuzzy and sleepy. "I don't think I've ever liked anyone ever." The boy returned, settling down and letting his eyes flicker shut.

"And you think I'll want to try and do anything about it?" He asked, with a soft laugh. He half wondered how she'd manage that, though he didn't doubt she'd be able to. The girl was determined if anything, he imagined she'd find a way. He wasn't sure how she'd do it. But she'd find a way. He pulled the blankets close, tucking her up in them and resting his chin on her head. He yawned softly, kissing the top of Ania's head and pulling her just that little bit closer. "Goodnight, Ania."</div>
