<div align=center>As promised, Hadrian had tidied up his house for Ania. He'd cleaned and tucked everything away in it's rightful place. There were still a few empty canvases propped up against the wall in the living room though, and an open sketch book with a half finished drawing of Altair in it. He was missing his back end, though the already completed half was beautifully shaded, apparently Hadrian had gotten bored half way through. He unlocked the door and pushed it open, he'd left the heating on, and the house was warm to step into. The tiger barged through first, prowling the length of the hallway and turning into the large living room, most likely to take up his spot in the corner next to the radiator.

He held the door open for Ania, shutting it behind himself afterward and locking it. It had gotten dark by now, despite the large size of the house there was always something cosy about it that made it nice to go in to. He liked it when Ania stayed, it was boring when he was all alone in the house, even with the tiger for company. A tiger didn't substitute for a human though, at least not for her anyhow. He had ended taking her out for dinner in the end, though Altair had gone on without them, and had waited patiently outside the front door until they'd come back.

Hadrian unbuttoned his coat and hung it on the stand just inside the door, before turning and offering to take Ania's for her. It hadn't been raining, but the evening was cold and breezy. At least it wasn't going to snow anymore, Hadrian had had enough of snow for one year. He frowned a little, running a hand through his hair and hanging the girl's coat up on the stand, along with his. "I'm sorry things, y'know... Turned out like that." He murmured, "I just..." The boy shook his head.</div>

Despite the rocky beginning to the evening, Ania had enjoyed herself at dinner. The earlier game with her guest had not gone so well, and she had been thankful to be able to escape the memories that lingered in her dorm. Stepping into the comfortable little house that Hadrian called his own, Ania shrugged off her coat willingly and handed it off, happy to be in a warmer setting. At least a cold evening gave her an excuse to remain close by.

Turning in surprise, Ania hadn't expected him to apologise for anything. She didn't particularly understand why he had gotten so heated back there, and didn't think it had been appropriate to ask at the time. "Why did you say mean things, anyway? You always seemed so nice." She had felt something when Jacob had asked what she saw in him. Ania couldn't really describe the feeling, but it certainly wasn't a nice one. She did see quite a bit in Hadrian, and liked him despite the mean streak he had exhibited earlier. So far, he had been rather polite in most situations.

Reaching up, Ania smoothed out the frown in his forehead. It was over now, nothing anyone could do about it. Well, technically he could probably undo the situation if he tried, but-- Ania shook her head. Time travel made things messier than they needed to be. "Either way. It's done, we're home and safe. Nothing to worry for, right?"

<div align=center>Hadrian wasn't usually one to apologize, he seldom swallowed his pride and spat the words out. In truth, he'd been just a little bit jealous. That was only part of the reason though, he was selfish to think like that he supposed, but he couldn't help it. Hadrian did have a rather nasty mean streak, but he made a mental note there and then to never ever lose it in front of the girl again. Losing it with her was impossible. She was the least infuriating person he'd ever met. "He just..." His brow furrowed as he tried to think of the right way to phrase it. "I got bad vibes."

He wanted to protect her and look after her, that was all. Though perhaps he should have been a little gentler. He shrugged, it had happened now and changing it would mess things up. Messing with the past was a terrible idea, no matter how short ago it was. He'd rather not risk that danger. It'd probably end up with duplicates of me. Hadrian liked himself, but not enough to want a double trailing around after him. That'd be far too much to stomach. He smiled when Ania's hand went to his forehead, and pressed a small kiss to the palm of her hand.

She was right, there was no use mulling over it. Hadrian wouldn't feel so bad by the morning anyway, he only really cared about her opinion of him. You're king lame from planet of the lames. A little voice whispered, he pushed it away and shook his head. "Do you want a drink?" He asked, guiding her gently in the direction of the living room. </div>

Ania could understand that he got bad vibes. He had after all, stumbled across her and a teacher that advanced her age by 20 years, sitting and playing a game. At least he hadn't jumped to the worst conclusion of cheating. That would have been rather devastating. Come to think of it, Jacob had been coming off awfully strong. It was nothing short of a miracle that Hadrian appeared when he did.

"A drink would be nice, thank you. Hey, why did you decide to show up when you did? You have ... Good timing." He had been just about on top of her when the knock came. Of course, she wasn't about to tell. It was definitely odd to her, though, that a teacher had confessed to impure thoughts, and had continued on that path anyway. Well, hopefully it was all over now. Spinning a piece of hair around her finger, Ania couldn't help but wonder if Hadrian really would go back in time and erase someone like that. It was a scary thought, that he could literally get away with murder. "Hey. Would you really go back and stop someone from being born? You don't look like much of a murderer." He lacked the crazy eyes especially, and he had a decent personality as far as she could tell. Although, most killers did have a charisma about them.

<div align=center>"I can make you tea, if you like." Hadrian offered, he wasn't a very good cook, but he could make tea easily enough. He had other things in his kitchen though, mainly wine and orange juice, he didn't really drink alcohol all that often so he wasn't really sure how he'd accumulated the amount of unopened bottles that he had. He was too fancy for beer and whiskey was unpleasant on the tongue. "Or cocoa." He thought he had that, anyhow. Her next question made him pause and think for a moment, he wasn't really sure why he decided to show up at that time. Hadrian shrugged, laughing softly. "I don't know." He returned, "lucky guess? I just wanted to come and see you."

Perhaps he'd had an inkling that she might be in a little bit of strife, he wasn't all that sure. Hadrian was prone to inklings and visions that he was pretty sure came along with his ability to time travel. The boy didn't mention it though. He shook his head when she asked him if he'd stop someone from being born, "though I guess it depends what they'd done." He'd probably do that if someone was about to commit a murder or mass genocide, wouldn't that make you as bad as them, though? A voice asked him, he shook his head in reply to it. No. Since no one would remember them if they had never been born, so there wouldn't really be anyone to miss them. You don't look like much of a murderer. He tittered softly as she spoke, "I should hope I don't."</div>

"I think tea would be rather nice." The warmth of tea would easily cut through the chill outside. Despite the comforting warmth of the indoors, it was somehow special to drink something hot in the winter months. Cocoa could be too sweet, an especially dangerous treat for the already energetic Ania. "Very lucky guess, indeed." She hadn't really thought about it until now, but she was quite grateful to have someone who wanted to come see her at odd times.

She was relieved to hear that he would probably not stop anyone from being born anytime soon. It was a bit frightening to hear someone close to you threaten to to that, especially since he had the power. "I dunno, I bet you could get that look if you really tried. You could be one of those cute murderers who lure people in with their dashing looks." Like a spider, luring in potential mates to eat their heads off. Pushing away the thought of a Hadrian-spider crouched over his prey, Ania perched herself precariously in the nearest chair. She was somewhat bored, and didn't know if she wanted to sleep or do an activity. "I'm bored. Let's play a gameee." Of course, because the last game went over so well.

<div align=center>Tea wouldn't take very long, all he really had to do was turn the kettle on. He paused for a moment, wondering if he should bother lighting the fire in the hearth, "are you warm enough?" He asked, Altair yawned loudly, stretching his great legs and curling himself into a ball. He was very much like a house cat when it came down to it, he might have been big enough to weigh more than twenty tabby cats, but he certainly didn't behave any differently. Hadrian left Ania with him for a moment to cross to the kitchen and turn the kettle on, it only took him five minutes to make tea, and when he returned to the lounge he presented Ania with a mug.

"A cute murderer?" He asked, he'd never really considered any cute murderers. All the ones he'd seen had been straight up scary. He didn't think he'd be a very good murderer though, he'd probably never forgive himself after his first victim. "I'd be a terrible murderer." He finally stated, sitting himself down on the couch and crossing his legs. "What kind of game?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, a game might be fun without someone else there to put him in a bad mood.</div>

Wrapping her hands around the mug, Ania took a moment to curl herself into the heat that it put off. Her fingers were happy to hold the warmth, and she blew softly to cool it before taking a sip. "Very cute." Of course, she wouldn't like it very much if he did become one, but he would still be the cutest one out there. Settling back, Ania hadn't considered what kind of game she wanted to play. Truth or dare was the only idea she had, and she didn't particularly want to be taken back to the prior game.

"Hmm, I dunno. I don't have any good ideas. Maybe we can watch a movie or something?" She didn't think she'd mind curling up and watching something with him. It was the perfect night to do it, anyway. "Maybe even another horror film! D'you remember that one zombie movie? That was a really gross movie. I liked sitting on you, though." Probably the only things she remembered about that movie was the gross parts and the part where she got to sit on Hadrian. At least, now she had a decent reason to want to crawl on top of his lap.

<div align=center>"And you can be my even-cuter-accomplice." The boy smiled a little, neither of them would make very good murderers though, she was far too nice and he'd refuse to get blood on his hands, as well as the fact that he didn't really want to murder anyone anyway. He got the gist that Ania probably didn't want to play truth or dare again, at least, not today anyway, that wasn't a very good idea. He didn't particularly mind though, truth or dare didn't appeal to him at the moment, at least not after earlier. Hadrian stifled a small yawn, and raised an eyebrow.

A movie might have been a good idea, he had to think for a moment about what he actually owned. He laughed, and nodded when she asked him if he remembered that zombie movie. "I remember that," he answered, smiling a little and tilting his head to the side. He didn't really mind if she sat on him regardless of the movie they watched, since he wasn't sure he had any ideas for any kind of game, either. Hadrian wasn't as imaginative as Ania was, not by a long shot. He half wished he was though, it'd be nice to have an exciting mind.</div>

Taking a cautious sip of tea, Ania was warmed by the liquid that poured into her mouth. She used to dislike hot drinks, mostly because she had seared her tongue too many times as a child. Thankfully, with age came wisdom, and she had learned how to wait. Her skin was grateful for the small warmth that the cup put off, and she found herself wishing the ceramic mug to be bigger, for the extra warmth.

"Maybe a movie would best, then. I'm getting sleepy, but I don't wanna sleep yet." It had been a long, tiresome day, and she couldn't think of anything quite so peaceful as spending her night with Hadrian. Her legs still burned from her earlier swimming lessons, and she bent suddenly, pressing her cup to the backs of one leg. Shuddering, she had forgotten how nice heat felt on taxed muscles. "Never exercising again, this hurts."

Bringing her cup back up to her chest, Ania's gaze drifted to the tiger that lay curled in front of the radiator. She couldn't help but think of the face her teacher pulled as the large cat had growled. "I'm so glad that you're a cat person. Altair is good at scaring strangers."
