Blaine sat at cross legged on the ground near the lake. With his messenger bag and a few books and empty blood packs strewn about him. Classes had let out but the fledgling still had some studying to do. Initially he went to hole up in the library, to do this, but a wrench had gotten tossed in those plans with a rather loud couple having what sounded like a nasty argument. He tried to tune it out as best he could, but between his superhuman hearing and a third contender, the other girl showing up, that wasn't happening. He did make a point of texting Mochi to let her know where he'd be then updating her at the change of location. Thinking about it, he probably should have just come here right from the get go.

He found himself staring out at the lake, the breeze that was coming off of it was nice. The day was actually really nice, too nice to simply be studying. He picked up a rock and tossed it in an attempt to skip it. The rock simply hit the water and sunk, as rocks generally tend to do. He smirked and tossed another before his attention was drawn to the sound of approaching footsteps. He'd pretend not to notice and continue as he had been.

A smile crossed his face as he caught the familiar scent of his girlfriend. It was a sweet scent fitting for a girl as cute as she was. "There you are," he said smiling and turning to her. Forget trying to be cool and mysterious, he wanted to see her.

Mochi was going to check in on her new boyfriend at the library, but thanks to his update, she knew he wasn't there now. She didn't have to witness the messy situation going on there. The girl took a nice walk with a small box of treats made for him. Hopefully he appreciated the gesture. She had desires of making a dessert specifically for vampires, but getting the blood for that would be tricky. Jouka was just relieved to have the futakuchi-onna as happy as she was now. She finally found a good man that would stick by her. This romance was going smoothly thus far.

She debated on if she should take this time to run, but then she realized that she'd end up being sweaty by the time she showed up. She didn't really desire to look all tired and sweaty in front of him. She instead took a relaxing walk. It allowed her to appreciate the signs of spring arriving on campus. The flowers bloomed beautifully before her. She found herself wanting to grasp them, but she didn't want to damage the great view nature was providing. Speaking of damage, she did happen to spot the trash in the form of empty blood packs by her boyfriend. She felt an urge to clean up but was distracted by her joy over seeing him.

"Hey!"

The young lady ran over to him and gave him a hug as her hair held the box. A tendril lifted itself up and waved.

"Sup?"

Jouka's unmistakable voice followed the hair wave. Once she stopped hugging him, she presented the box to him. It was a cute little red container. Nothing fancy. Inside were delicious brownies.

"I made this for you. I hope you like it!"

She was as sweet as her name implied.

"Your brownies are the best."

He hugged his girlfriend and happily accepted the gift. She was always baking treats for him, and he always felt bad because he normally never had anything to give her in return. Not that their relationship was based on gift giving, he simply wanted to return the gesture. There had been a few attempts at cooking for her, all of which ended in mild tragedy. Fortunately there were no casualties or destroyed property. Simply ruined food he forced himself to eat. He was coming to terms with the fact that cooking really wasn't his thing. So the vampire did the next best thing which was buying her a couple stuffed animals for her.

"Well I got you a bear, like a stuffed one not a real one," he said as he turned to pull a rather nice box out of his bag and handed it to her. He glanced at his scattered blood packs awkwardly. He had no intentions of letting them lie around, however it was just a little bit embarrassing considering the company he was in. He turned back to pick them up and stick them in his bag.

"So how are you doing?"
