Of course, they weren't fish! Sherry giggled as she recognized her fault. They wouldn't be able to go out into the deep sea, they weren't that special. "Ah, that makes a lot more sense! You're so smart, Vinnie." With that, she smiled at him, before going ahead and picking the prettiest things she could find on the beach.
The coral itself looked like something out of a fairy tale. It had many faded colors on it, blue, purple, orange, green. Everything about it screamed that it needed to be used, to be put on display. "Of course you can!" Sherry's gleeful laugh gave away her excitement. "I would love for you to take it, and use it."
Sherry still gazed upon the coral, taking in the itchy of it. Sherry quite liked that all the colours seem to mix together to make such a beautiful specimen of sea life. Though Vinnie's idea for her to keep it surprised her quite a bit. "Are you sure? I mean it's so beautiful, I was sure you'd want to make it part of something for someone special." She reached words, taking it back into her hands to contemplate what she's going to do. "I mean I could take it back, and I really do appreciate that you want me to keep it."
Vinanye nodded, wiggling his bucket again. "Yes, I am sure. I think it would be better if you ke--" suddenly he stopped and looked out to the sea. Something was glittering. The Gem set his bucket down and wadded into the water until it rose higher than his hips. He ducked under its surface and when he returned to the beach, he was holding a gemstone in his hand. Blue, like the water, but with swirls of orange and white that caught the light and shone.

"Thank you so much, you are truly such a lovely person." That sole comment is all that she could make out before he turned and went into the water. "Vinanye!" He said, unsure of what to about that. She paused, going almost knee deep in water to try to stop him, but she knew that he would be okay. When you go to the water, she gasped at how beautiful the gem once. "How wonderful that you know that was there?" All she wanted to do was hold in her hands, observe it and treasure it like it was a giant piece of gold.
Vinnie looked down at the Gem, only a hint perplexed. "It is instinct," he said before offering it to Sherry. The gemstone was smooth, like hardened silk on the fingers. It reminded Vinanye of candy or a cookie. Speaking of.
"I am hungry, how about you? Want to go to a beachside diner? I will even pay!"

"Oh my… You're giving me so many beautiful things! I don't even know how to repay you for this." She took the gem into her hands and held it, this is to feel it's warmth; it felt alive. With a smile, she nodded as she kept both of her sea prices in her hands, not wanting to fracture them in any way. "I've been hungry too! So, of course I'd like to have supper with you!"
