Shapeshifting Masters.......?

Addy looked at him like he had three heads. He had to be freaking kidding her, did he really go all master splinter on her? She couldn't help the bitter laugh that left her lips. "It's not that simple Aedan. I know what I need to do...its just...it's not happening" she said frustrated as all fuck. This was supposed to be easy, it was supposed to be the type of thing that came naturally. Her mother could shift, her half siblings on that side could. She was the only one that couldn't.

Sure she looked like her mom but everything else was her dad. Every single thing else was her dad and it really killed her sometimes. Did she not get to have some thing useful from her mom? Its not like she would've been ugly should she had look like her father.

"I just.. Its the only thing that will connect to my mom Aedan. Surely you can understand that?" She looked at him and for a small second she wasn't the over confident brash Addy that everyone knew. She was the slightly broken, girl with way more insecurities than she needed. Just for split second and then it was gone.

"Besides, I need it for my rescue mission plan"

Addy scrunched up her nose. "I'm not rushing it, I've waited 15 years Aedan, 15." She didn't want to admit that she was afraid of her other powers. She never truly talked to aedan about her powers. It was a rule, he didn't tall in depth about his history and He didn't ask why she never gave him a straight answer. Things were better when they didn't go deeper than the surface.

She was thankful for the change of subject. "Yes, don't worry nothing big, just Addy stuff" she said waving her hand dismissively and getting back to the matter at hand. She stared at the mirror, first she changed her facial features, the she slowly started to focus on her fur. Imagining each body part become furry one at a time.

She could focus on the actually shape later. Maybe rushing it wasn't a good idea, she wouldn't tell aedan that though.

Addy smiled, she was found herself glad her and Aedan weren't anything more than friends. She didn't have this with the guys she dated or kissed. They were just there for her, things to help her push her demon heritage aside a little bit satisfied. She liked the actually friendship and the ability to know someone was there. She didn't want to change that, nope she didn't.

"Yeah, well just don't tell anyone what I'm doing and we're even okay? I got the fur and the facial features and nothing else. I'm still a humanoid cat" she said pouting as the fur disappeared and her face went back to normal.

Addy smiled at Aedan, and she seemed to feel a bit better about everything. "Yeah, I know...And That is who I am...but sometimes...it's hard to see that. It's one thing to be really me and then there's the person who people actually see...ya know?" She wondered what would happen if she was allowed to give up just this one...Just one time giving in with no fight. Then again this was something she wasn't ever going to give up on.

"yeah Well, are you hungry? I want some Sushi and there's a spot down the street" She said grabbing her stuff and exiting the room. Standing in the doorway, with her books against her chest.
