He smiled at her reactions, she seemed embarrassed but happy and her smile was just as nice as her laugh, "it'll be fun, we'll get to see the sights and sounds, all the people." He grinned his gray silver eyes now glowing bright with his happiness, he made a friend and was now going to explore the city with her.

He took a sip of his hot chocolate, "a teacher gave me a bit of money to use, I could buy us dinner in the city if you want," a kind vampire teacher had given him a bit of spending money to send him on his way and to help him adjust. He grinned, he was happy that he had found a friend so soon.

"I could fly you there if you want, I found out that I can kind grow wings," he smiled, he had discovered his alternate form when they were doing tests, "we could see the whole city from up there."

Finding his excitement endearing, Alouette nodded in agreement, watching as Raziel's already attractive features lit up. She too started to imagine what it would be like, but blinked slowly at his offer to pay for dinner. "Oh, you don't have to." She protested gently. Money was no problem for her- the D'Lenfer family was old money, and Alouette had never been left wanting for nothing, for all that she wasn't a spoiled brat-, but she also knew that some people just enjoyed spending money on others. "But if you insist..."

It didn't hurt that she found herself wanting to spend much more time with the taller teen, his easygoing, calm kindness quite amiable to Alouette's own sensibilities. "That's so cool!" She exclaimed, features brightening. "Well, if you don't mind, then I'll accept your offer; that'll certainly be fun, and to see the city in such a way..." She trailed off, eyes almost becoming starry with the thought.

"After we finishing eating, we can go get heavier jackets before going out; it'll most likely get a bit chilly, after all." She nodded to herself at the practical thought, turning to Raziel and offering him a wide smile.

Their little jaunt to the city would, hopefully, go well- she had made her very first friend at the Academy, and she wanted it to be a fun experience, especially since Raziel would be new to it all. Overall, it was guaranteed to be an interesting time.​

((OOC: i vaguely recall us planning to end the thread with this post, but i might be mistaken???))
