Private Searching In All The Wrong Places

It took a moment to realize what she was offering. "I.....maybe," he'd smile a bit, "it would be nice, finally getting a good night's sleep again." It'd make it all easy to deal with again.

He'd sigh. "I'm....I'm afraid what it'll do if we take its voice away though," he'd admit, "we know its sentient now, so, have to be careful what we do to it."

Rowan would sip his hot chocolate. "You....you helping me, it means a lot to me Mal," he'd smile a bit, "thank you."

He'd blink in surprise when she said that. "That....that means so much to me," the fact that she wanted to be there meant a lot to him. "You...you help make me feel a bit less alone," he'd say with a smile.

"I just....I don't want you to get hurt," he'd say, worry in his voice. "This stuff can be really dangerous, really unstable magic," plus in this case it was actually alive.

Reaching out, he'd gently take her hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. "So, be careful too, ok?"

He'd blink, then laughing a tiny bit. "Yeah, true," he'd smile, "you're so sweet that I keep forgetting." She was probably one of the sweetest persons he'd ever met. "You're probably tougher for me," which he didn't feel pain, but wasn't really tougher than a normal human.

Rowan would give her hand one more gentle squeeze before releasing it. "I came here...considering doing something stupid, you stopped me and then you even cheered me up a bit," he'd say with a chuckle.

"You're kinda amazing y'know?" he'd say with a smile.
