The wind blew threw his black hair, his nose twitched at the smell of sea salt, the boat shifted underneath him, he stumbled a bit, he'd never been good on boats. As he regained his footing he saw it, the island, the place he was told would be his new home. His eyes lit up as his emotions flared, they told he'd find a future here, he wasn't sure. Then again, he hadn't been sure about anything in a long time.

The Faust family chose to move after circumstances made it impossible for them to live among humans. That was fine; perhaps the parents would find people that enjoyed their sense of humor. Maybe it was safe for Arabelle's younger sister to roam free (though how much she improved when it came to her habits....that had yet to be seen.) As for Arabelle herself, well....she felt mostly indifferent. While she felt curiosity towards what would be on the island, sadness for what she had to leave behind, she ultimately felt an odd state of neutrality. She was steadily processing what was happening.

Moving away from her (in her eyes) embarrassing family, she stepped closer to the railing. She wanted to get away from the bunches of people; being around so many people and seeing all of their death timers made her anxious. What was nice about taking a boat ride was that she could see much of what the journey had to offer thanks to the sea and skies being blue. She could see the waves and the sky in all of its glory. Now if only she knew for sure that clouds were truly white and grey. The wind blew through her white hair.

A blue summer dress and sandals seemed like a nice enough ensemble to wear. She heard that the school had a uniform. The girl hoped that it was not red. She couldn't stand red. The young lady vaguely noticed someone around her age looking out at the sea as well. She flashed a quick smile at him then went back to looking at the sea. Ara debated if she should communicate with him. He seemed pretty alright, but she felt a little off thanks to having just left a crowded space. She elected to wait until he made the first move.

His nose twitched again, somone's scent filled his nose, someone was behind him. He gripped the railing, he took a deep breath, the reflexes were still there, his body told him to go on the defense when someone approaches him from behind. He calmed himself best he could and turned, the girl had had white hair, wore a blue dress and had red eyes. He wasn't sure what to say, this was the first person his age he's met in two years, but he couldn't help but look at her strange eyes, they were his favorite color, he saw a glimmer of blue in them, he turned away, "sorry," his eyes were glowing as his emotions fluctuated, the doctor at the military base had panicked when he first saw his eyes, the guards had nearly shot him because they thought he was using his powers. He shoved a pair of sunglasses on, "I'm sorry," he reiterated.
