Odin couldn't help but laugh at what she said, he leaned back at gave it some thought. Then to the stunning realization that she was more refined than that. He stopped and looked at her. The way she talked and walked kind of was a tip off. So he leaned back forward his chair and moved his cup of tea to the side and smiled as he put the pen back down.

"I can't argue with that." he said with a chuckle. He got up from the desk and began to look through a few book.

"Resourceful? Hmm.. I might have one at home, not here. I am not that fuckin' dumb to keep all my good books here." He said as he was searching through his books. Looking for something running his finger on each book trying to find out IF he actually did. "Last time I checked, I never asked for your age, plus, I don't ask. Leavin' that kind of stuff up to you."

Odin watched her twill and smiled a little, though he was almost hit by the tails he just leaned back and felt the air hit him. He shook his head as he heard her last statement.

"Well, I'm looking forward to it Savannah. I don't think there is a thing you can do to disappoint me." He said with a wink and went back to his seat. "Now uhh, anything else you want to 'Talk' about? Or are you gunna sit back on my desk and look pretty so I have someone to look at while I'm doing my markin'."

He said with a smile on his face. She was free to leave when ever. Odin just liked being a smart ass and enjoyed joking around. Hopefully that caught on. They didn't seem to busy for the next little while, what's a bit of company going to do.

She almost seemingly waited around to find out whether such a book was in the room, however it appeared that there probably was not one. Feeling a little disappointed her brows knitted together. "A point you have, it was rather rude to assume you would ask such thing." She admitted.

Savannah found Odin's company to be rather pleasant, it was to say far different than before. The people of the island were fulling accepting of the super natural and beyond, that in itself had a charm. But she also enjoyed being the mysterious figure to a human, is she a god? Is she a spirit? Time passes and the world changes, one can not expect to lead the same lifestyle forever.

She caught his wink and returned a glance. "That is a privilege one must earn, I prefer a chase. It would be too easy otherwise."

"All these books are for Art and History. Mainly of humans and what ever the students have given me in return. I got a fuckin' book graveyard here. Read some, haven't touched a few. I don't read all the time when I am working."

He said with a sigh. He wanted to read them all, but with so little time in his day he made due with it all. He shook his head for a moment at the thought of starting to read a book now.

"Plus, I like to understand people by them talkin' gets a lot fucking easier than being told what you can do."

Odin sat back in his chair and rubbed his eyes. Trying to find out what to say next, and she helped him with something. He smiled a bit and slowly clapped with a hearty chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, fair point. Plus, a chase is good for fun. Keeps things nice all around." He said sarcastically as he began to mark again. "Well, if you need me, I gotta get this shit done for class, not like anyone else is gunna fuckin' do it. So I hope you don't mind me workin' as we chat."

Heeding Odin's suggestion, Savannah helped herself to one of the books. She then popped herself on the edge of his desk, her feet barely touching the floor.

"Aye, you learn a many things about oneself. And you learn even more over good drink." She commented. Social drinking was the term. Some people have a lot more to say for themselves under the influence of alcohol, others not so much. Still it was a ice breaker that allowed practically anyone to join in.

She flips the book open skimming over several pages. "You need not mind around me, I have no where I need to be but where I choose to be."

Savannah leaned back a little to look over her shoulder at Odin.

Odin was looking at some work for his history class. Mainly of 'Theatre History'. He shook his head at some of the writing the students had. It wasn't good enough for him, but he wasn't in the mood to argue semantics. So he decided to just mark if it was legible.

"Yup. I prefer learning more about others. I know me well enough. What ever else I need to know people can tell me. Fuckers."

He said, pulling out a small black book, which had some notes in almost chicken scratch as he rubbed his chin. Then began to mark the sheet. The sheet he was reading about was about the Dark Ages of Theatre.

"You go where you fuckin' want? Well, just starting walking into my office when it's unlocked. Maybe I'll even give you a key." He said sarcastically. He looked over at her sitting on his desk. He couldn't help but chuckle a little as he went back to his work. "Feel free to drop by when ever if the door is unlocked. Just knock first. Or don't What ever helps you sleep at night."

He said. He rubbed his eyes for a moment. He almost failed the student told him he either needed to try harder to teacher, or get them to do a bit more work. The paper was covered in red lines, Circles and other things as he was reading from his little book, and flipping pages.

The next sheet he was at when was 'Savannah Achard'. Odin shook his head for a moment and flipped his small book. Trying to find the era as well as his notes on it.

Her eyes rolled back to her book for a moment, then she faced the ceiling in thought. It got her thinking what he just said, she liked that. Savannah went on to share her mind. "I find that I still learn new things about myself, my appearance never changes, or should I say, choose to change. But the way I perceive the world and my own morals. I was a far different fox than I am today."

A small sigh escaped her, it certainly has been a long time coming. It was not a subject for her to sit on too long, otherwise it ends up with a lot of 'what if?' questions. There was far too many to ask. It would be like asking she is doing here right now?

Her ears redacted and twisted towards Odin, she felt a grin coming on. "I've always gone where I pleased till recently. I shall probably return, it's always nice to give myself a reminder of some fruitful experiences that are now buut a memory." Savannah rocked herself from side to side slowly with a gentle rhythm.

Another glance was thrown at Odin, she looked at what he was doing. "I do not understand much of modern antiques. More and more seems to be recorded on paper... Then they use small contraptions in their hands that hold entire libraries of limitless information. Tis was a surreal sight." By contraptions the fox was referring the cellphones. The idea of holding informstion that can be recalled on a handheld object never caught on to Savannah. Most of the modern world is unfamiliar to her.

"I called that you were a Foxy kind of girl." he said with a chuckle for a moment as he was looking between his book and paper. Trying to make some sense of it. It was taking some time as he was checking every little detail as he was going. He did it for each one instead of being fast with it. "Yup, I guess you need to find out new things about yourself. I mean, I just think I know enough of me."

He had looked out the window for a moment to get away from work as he went to pick up his tea cup and drink from it, forgetting there was nothing in it he shook his head and put it back down. Paper work wasn't Odin's forte.

"Well Princess, let me just get out the Red carpet and leave you a couch here so you can stay here when eeeever you want." He turned his head over with a grin of his own on his face as his sarcasm was coming out again. "Memories are always fucking best. It's all ya got. Makes you. Well.. You."

He watched her rock back and forth and the grin turned into a smile as he went back to marking. He finished Savannah's paper and marked it. He handed the paper over to Savannah.

"Here's your work, I'd give you more, but I would have for students to think you are the teachers pet. So to speak." He said as he looked at another sheet of paper and flipped his book to another page and pulled out his cell phone and placed it on the table.

"One of these? This little thing allows for people to get a hold of each other and holds information. Maybe I can show you sometime." He said, he was surprised she didn't know about anything electronic, he thought most of the students on this island had a phone. He met a walking Technological marvel not too long ago, but Savannah was better. "Up to you. I don't care either way."

He started marking a little faster than before going through his notes and the students notes. Seems that a lot of his notes from his old books and novels weren't the same as what the students were using.

"A fox I am, both cunning and wily." She said rather proudly tilting her head. Savannah gave a warm smile, envious of Odin for knowing himself better than she knew herself.

Her eyes peered to Odin. "A couch, how thoughtful. I hope you don't mind when I moult." She teased. It was no lie however, like any furred mammal throughout changes in the season her fur will lighten towards summer and thicken towards winter.

Savannah's attention was caught by Odin's hand movement, she accepted the papers. Just as was about to look over her assignment her ears perked to Odin. "Oh ho? A pet I am naught, a master of myself I am." She retorted.

The next moment she saw the object that was called a cellphone. It just did not look right to her, how does such a small thing do so much? She decided not to give a verbal answer, rather just look at it oddly. Her tails whipped up and down a bit. She rested her papers on the edge of the desk and made her way round to the side Odin was on.

She stood at his side, seeming to peer between the phone and what Odin was doing.

"Uh huh, a Fox is cunning, but there is always someone better." He said with a smile on his face, he was going to enjoy having her around. He was quick marking giving marks to students while reading his little history book.

This was his own book for what he read from theatre and world history and compiled a few small black books with chicken scratch writing so no one else but he could read and understand. Mainly like code.

She made a joke that she was her own master. Odin believed that, even if no one was their own master. Just like a play, a suspension of disbelief.

"Well, what you think and what others thing are two different things. Some one might think that a student in someones office is them being in trouble, or a teachers pet, kind of like their favorite."

He looked at Savannah looking oddly at the cellphone, and what he was doing. He saw her move beside her and moved his head to look at her. He turned his gaze up to her.

"I know, technology is amazing, even if it can store so many things and do a lot. I like working with paper, plus, I get students to write since it is far better than typing. I think you learn more. he noticed her look at what he was doing. "Is there... An issue?"

She snickered. "All those who have said that to me have ceased to be, of natural causes or of another's hand."

"Oh ho? Favorite? She exclaimed. Jealously was a rather funny attribute, it caused all sorts of rumors and other tedious things. She let out a toothy grin.

Ah the word technology, humans advancement in taming the world around them. Since the invention of fire humans have found ways to conquer everything in their path, even themselves. From sword and spear to gunpowder, mankind walked a familiar path of conflict and they were very good at it.

"Perhaps, but it is a frightening process. To watch how one era moves into another, it was both alluring and saddening." Savannah could not bring out a smile this time. "I am curious, there is a lot of today I do not understand. So I watch."

She was far from uneducated so it was not an excuse, but her way of life was period behind. The fox was not used to the sight of motorized vehicles that replaced horse and cart.
