Private Finished Sanctuary

Lycia had been in the middle of very important business. Rolling around in her bed to try out a new comforter. She was startled from her experimental bed cocoon by the unexpected knocking and she had to quickly wriggle out of bed to go see who it was.

"Oh, Zeke," she chirped as she opened the door to spot his soul there. Ignoring as usual the hurt appearance of it. "I was testing a thing but you can come in. You do not sound happy?" She invited him in and backed up, using her other hand to keep from backing into the wall. Her face shifted between surprise and happiness at the unexpected visit to one more approaching curiosity or confusion after she realized he was at least somewhat upset.

Lycia started to explain what she was doing but stopped as he continued on about being lonely and sounding sad. So instead she waited for her moment to interrupt him and, instead of speaking, she put her finger up to his lips to quiet him. Ok, so she first missed and may have poked him in the cheek a little, but a little feeling around brought her finger to the right spot.

Them she bounded over to her bed to grab a soft fleece blanket from her bed. Which she then tried to throw over him. The goal being to hug him once the blanket was around him. If nothing went wrong anyway.

Lycia giggled and held the blanket-wrapped Zeke. "I am a princess, if I am boring then I am not doing my job." She laughed and then loosened her hug to feel around with her hands to find the edge of the blanket and drag it up so she could free his face.

Now what to do with her visitor? At home she would have a handmaiden or someone to assist in making sure everyone was comfortable but here she was all alone. Well, technically not alone since Zeke was there. But... aha. The bed was clearly a big comfy spot to sit together and the blanket belonged there anyway. "Do you want to sit on my bed with me? It is soft and squishy and big."

"The dorm is good. It has all the things I need except handmaidens, but I can take care of my self mostly."

Having lived long enough in her dorm to more or less memorize where everything was it wasn't hard for Lycia to lead Zeke around it. It was kind of dark though as she had no use for turning on the lights- other than to hear the satisfying click sound of the switch. Which she kind of liked. The blanket more or less got plopped onto the bed in a pile as Lycia bounded into the bed and then scrabbled back around to sit on the edge with Zeke.

"You are sweet too Zeke. I like it when you hug me like this. My own special person-blanket," she smiled and leaned against him. "Are you sick Zeke? I think I have some tea in the kitchen." Clearly the sniffles had to be from illness and not crying.

Lycia held onto Zeke and shifted around as she tried to burrow herself into his side a little closer. Inadvertantly flopping her hair onto him as she flopped around. "If you want to tell me about the things I will listen. But if not we can just sit and be warm and... maybe stack up the pillows and blankets to hide under them."

She playfully tried to push him over but clearly wasnt strong enough to really do it.
