The door creaked, the clicking of shoes following after. The smell of dust hit Raphael's nose like a brick, making him sneeze a couple times. Other than that, Raphael seemed...at home. Turning on a computer by his lonesome, save two others that were talking online to each other according to his eyes. He couldn't see the words.

Great! The sixteen-year-old thought as he looked at the next computer. Too much is on that computer. I can't quite read it. I guess that is why they sent me here. I don't even know how to shoot that weird blue beam out of my eyes. Raphael looked towards his arm. I guess it served me right... He sighed, wondering just how much good this school will do for him.

Computers, huh? Well, this should be fun... the fifteen-year-old female thought to herself. Adelina walked through the hallway, hands in her pockets. She was still trying to find her way around this place, since it was kind of big. She'd actually gotten lost a few times... but this time, she hadn't. She looked at the door just as someone else had gone in, and almost rolled her eyes. She should have expected other people to have gone in there.

She was really hoping October would arrive soon. Her younger sister was the one that knew how to hook up a computer, not her. Then she wouldn't have to come to this place if she was ever bored enough to go on the Internet or something.

Walking in a few moments after he did, she looked around. Computers, computers... and, more computers. How fun. She walked over to one of the computers and took a seat in front of it, noticing that it wasn't on. "Great..." she mumbled to herself. She pressed the buttons and watched as it began to load, knowing that it would probably take a few minutes for it to load completely.

She looked at the male out of the corner of her eye, an emotionless expression on her face. After a minute or two, she looked back to her computer screen, noticing that it was still loading to come on. "Stupid computer... why the heck do these things take so long..." Once again, she was talking to herself. She was a bit annoyed, even though she hadn't really planned on doing anything of much importance on it. She probably would have just done some random stuff, maybe mess around with some of the programs, then leave. She would just have to deal with it being slow for now, though.

His eyes gazed upon Adelina and was out of his trance. Raphael walked to her, kind of hesitant towards other people. Thinking of what he had to say in English the Ecuadorian tapped her shoulder.

"Umm...what do you need...assistance with?" His heart was like the wicked witch of the west, melting. Raphael should have thought out his words more carefully. Adios, mijos! Tu stupido! His accent was not thick, but it was there.

His eyes went towards her computer, turning on the computer without even the young lad knowing it. "Bien..." Raphael looked at Adelina. "What is...the name you are called by?" His voice, quivering like the ocean tides.

Adelina blinked when she felt someone tap her shoulder, and turned her head around calmly. She scowled a bit upon seeing the male; she would have scowled to see anyone there. What the heck does he want? she thought to herself, but she didn't need to bother asking.

"Umm...what do you need...assistance with?'

An eyebrow raised. Oh, great, did he want to help her or something? Yeah, she wasn't a computer genius, but she wouldn't accept help. She rarely did. She had noticed the accent, but hadn't really cared. "I don't need help with anything..." she mumbled, looking back at the computer screen. She watched as it came on and smirked inwardly; she really hadn't needed help. But, she didn't know that he had actually done that, since, after all, she didn't know his powers, or anything about him. She didn't really want to, either.

"What is...the name you are called by?"

She rolled her eyes. She had noticed his voice quiver, and had come to the conclusion that he was either nervous, or didn't speak English well. Either way, she didn't care. "That really isn't any of your business," she said. "But whatever, I'll be nice enough to give it to you. It's Adelina, call me Addie if you want... and yours?"

"I-its Raphael D'Carteno..." his voice trailed off. His eyes drifted towards the ground, his ID and his USB card dangling at his side. She was nice. At least she gave me her name.

His mouth cracked a smile, his eyes going back to his computer. "Well...uhh...have a bien day! I mean...good..day!" His eyes looked back to his computer. At least she wasn't like the rest of 'em. It was hard to fit in, but probably not as bad as his other school. Una nueva vida!

A joy in his heart, despite the fact that Adelina had been a bit mean, had risen. Well, let the days ahead begin! Getting the information from the computer to his USB drive, he continued to his seat. "So...uhh...hmm.." trying to think up the English for her he began. "How was your day, Adelina?"

He obviously had not gotten the hint.

"I-its Raphael D'Carteno..."

Adelina merely shrugged. Yep, yep, whatever... she thought to herself. She most likely wouldn't remember the last name, but his first she probably would. Not like she wanted to remember it or anything; she was just good when it came to remembering peoples first names. She raised an eyebrow at his smile, not knowing why he was. And 'bien'? Ok, she didn't know what that meant. But when he said 'good day' she supposed it meant 'good'. Again, not like she cared. She just liked to know what people were saying if they actually spoke to her.

She put up a screen for the Internet, waiting once again for the page to load.

"How was your day, Adelina?"

She blinked for a few moments, brown eyes showing confusion. He was still talking to her? Odd... and, eventually, perhaps, annoying... she thought to herself. Sighing softly, she looked at him again out of the corner of her eye. "And why do you care how my day was, Raphael?" she asked in a cold tone of voice. Maybe that would make it understood that she didn't like people talking to her.

He looked down, waiting for a blow, his face had a black and blue mark on it, and his eyes were about to tear. He could only think in spanish, ¡Ah no! ¡Ella me golpeará!

His eyes closed, shutting off her computer, and once again, he hadn't meant to do it...it just...happened. When he opened his eyes, they became nightvision. Everything was green.

"no...no otra vez!" He said aloud, his palms clasping his eyes. His eyes had made the computers go on and off and so forth. His hands clenched his hair. Everything was so...odd...why did this have to happen to him? Getting his hands off his eyes he was able to see, but it was so dramatic, it had happened before, but only for seconds at a time. Why this long? Sweat began to pour like a river from him. What would everyone think, would they be like them?!?

And why do you care how my day was, Raphael? It was so familiar...

Adelina's eyes went back to her computer when it turned off. An eyebrow raised in confusion, but she didn't panic or anything. She just figured that it was the computer's fault, like maybe it was old or something. However, that theory didn't last long when she saw what Raphael was doing. He had said something again in words she didn't know, and he had his hands over his eyes. And, her computer kept going on and off... this was really getting weird.

She was guessing that he was doing this now, but she still wasn't quite sure. She had no idea what his powers were, so she couldn't really know; she could only assume. She looked back to him, silent for a few moments. "Uh..." she started, unsure if she should be saying something at the moment, but deciding to go on. "Do you... uh... know what's going on?"

"I...see green." Raphael's spanish accent emphasized the gr in green. The sixteen-year-old looked at the girl, his palms off his eyes. She was only green. "You...are green...it...may sound weird. Uhh...my eyes...are cursed with...something. Then again...as you say...why should you care?"
Raphael's knees bent, his black eyes looking into hers. "I...just want...it to stop." He brushed his hair back, and wiped his hands on his pants. Raphael could only look at the computer, turning it on again. "I can't control...IT" He didn't even know what was going on, even though he had this for so long. The teen was only instructed to peer into a computer or at a person's words and then look into his USB chip.

"Does this...happen to you?"

She was still confused. She didn't understand what he meant by 'green', what he meant when he said that she was 'green'. Probably his powers going crazy... she thought to herself. She bit the inside of her lip when he said the part about why she should care... yeah, that was true. But she didn't feel like getting into an argument right now about it. She could have defended herself, but now wasn't really the time.

"I...just want...it to stop."

Well, how was she supposed to help with that? Did he expect or want her to try and help or something? That wasn't her nature, she didn't help people. He said that he couldn't control it... and she noticed that he was looking at the computer. She looked around, still biting her lip, not knowing what to do. Should she help, or not? Uh... she sighed inwardly. She wasn't going to help... if things got really bad, she would. But not right now...

"Does this...happen to you?"

Adelina shrugged her shoulders. "Sometimes... not always..." she said quietly. "Has this happened to you before?"
