Rada scratched the bandage around her neck, the bite her brother had so fucking graciously given her was itchy as hell. Thankfully she had gotten bites in on that cocky ass alpha bitch.
Rada was mixing a batter, she was feeling irritated because the teacher hadn't let her put her own spin to the recipe they were using to make pie with. Rada was just sure it would be much better with a butter-based crust but the teacher was being a tight-ass. He had even made sure Rada wasn't able to take any ingredients besides the ones she needed for this recipe. At least he had learned from last time when Rada had used herbs and lime instead of pepper and lemon on that fish. Though it had knocked the other students out of the park, and they admitted it. And boy had Rada rubbed that to the old croak's face.
So Rada liked showing her dominance a bit, so what? She couldn't help it.
"Miss Volkov, your hands are slowing down. Please pick up the pace, we need to have these crusts resting by 14:30."
Speak of the devil, the guy eyed Rada nastily from behind the counter and Rada eyed right back. Thankfully this class had no other wolves, or they would've been really uncomfortable right now. Rada looked around, she'd be the first one done. That worked perfectly. She'd be able to rub her superiority to the teacher's face again and her escape plan could be launched ahead of schedule. Rada's usual babysitter was away today because of some business with Malakias that required extra hands, and some young pup had been assigned to watch Rada. He didn't have the usual guy's tracking ability, Rada would be home free. She smirked a bit just thinking about it as she finished up her batter. Rada wrapped it and went right on over to the teacher, basically slamming the batter down on the table with a victorious, smug smile on her face.
"Would you please put this in the cold for me? I gotta fly now, see you tomorrow."
With that Rada grabbed her stuff and marched on over to the window, opening it. And she jumped right out from the second floor.
Rada could hear some surprised sounds behind her as she jumped, and landed with a roll smoothly and unharmed. She hopped right up, and looked up and behind her. Some of her classmates were on the window, waving, and Rada grinned and waved right back.
Rada looked around and saw a familiar figure reading a book in a shadowy spot right by where she had landed. Alice, if Rada remembered right. The awkward one. Rada grinned and waved at the girl, since she had clearly seen her.
"Yo, how's it going? Good book? I'd love to chat but I got to bail, I'm gonna have an angry poodle biting at my ankles any moment now."
