So there was a huge discussion on how to better utilize the social media board and also promote IC interactions via other means to flesh out/create materials for threads. I'm taking the bull by the horns with rumors. I have a gossip talk show host, and I don't want his job title to be just for show. I actually wanted to promote shenanigans by writing out talk show segments to hopefully provoke discussion elsewhere and do some world-building.
The only problem is I don't exactly have a lot of rumors.
We have the Rumor Mill, but there's a problem with it: it's really a thread summary thread more than a rumor mill. While it is possible some of the summaries do contain rumor material, there's the issue of going through many pages of a thread to see what's relevant and what isn't. What doesn't help is that many threads are within an overarching plot structure, so that makes things even crazier to try and sort through for something that people can use.
So this is a call for informants to help me out in getting a true rumor mill going and perhaps rumor-based discussions which could cause growth or conflict for many RPCs. The talk show specifically is for everyone on Manta Carlos and is admittedly more akin to something like Wendy Williams (Which is a show whose biggest segment is on celebrity gossip and what's happening in the higher echelons of society), but academy students regardless of social status deserve attention as well.
Consider this also an open suggestion forum on other ways to spread IC rumors (I.E. gossip bloggers, school newspaper, etc.). Yes, I'm also aware Laetus started a discussion board of sorts, and I was hoping to build off of that by either chiming in directly or adding supplement material that people could choose to bring up.
