[They generally leave their room very open, as they go elsewhere all the time. xD]

Akane stepped warily through the halls, his bag slung over his shoulder. It was full of clothes, necessities of life, and other miscellanous things that he did not pack. Like... a rabbit toy. Where the heck it came from confused him though.

His brother just tossed two heavy boxes of luggage inside, the second one bumping into the first. It was both their clothes, and unfortunately Kiiroi was in charge of them, since Akane can randomly drop them all over the place.

"Akane, catch!" With that moment of advesing, another bag shot into the room like a bullet. The addressed caught it softly, and tossed it onto the left bed, which Kiiroi had already stated he would want.

He looked cautiously around as he walked in, deep chocolate eyes staring around the room. A cap topped his head (and since he was feeling in a pretty good mood today), it was turned around, to look "cool." Akane had no idea what this meant though.

The dorm they were assigned was kind of big, kind of small...medium-sized, Kiiroi remarked to himself. There were four beds, some dressers, more bedside cabinets, which would prove useful. The younger brother took a cautious glance at the two other beds, unoccupied as of now. The only problem now was who was also assigned to this room.

Kiiroi sighed, as Akane continued watching him with blank eyes. He noticed immediately to unpack, and stuff whatever he had in whatever he wanted and soon the room was in order.

"So, know who else is here?" Akane asked, knowing fully well that his brother didn't know the answer.,

"Whoever he is, there's going to be some...troubles," he replied, scratching his head, and frowning slightly. "Some. Trouble."

Well, wasn't this just grand.

The cat-eared boy sighed and looked down, the longer locks of his light brown hair covering the front of his face. He didn't really want to be here, to be quite honest; he would have rathered been back home. However, seeing as how going back home was nearly impossible, Sabriel was stuck here. He was stuck here around all these people, stuck in this huge school that was probably much larger than it needed to be, stuck in this... well, he couldn't think of anything else right now, but he would, eventually. Right now, he was in one of his pessimistic moods, and was looking on the down side to pretty much everything. That would probably change though later in the day, seeing as how he never acted a certain way for very long.

The boy looked around, then unzipped one of his bags, searching around until he found a crumbled piece of paper. Room two-hundred twenty-one. As he looked around, he saw that the room at the end of this hallway was one-hundred ninety-nine, so he was obviously getting close. It was a real surprise that he hadn't gotten lost.

And, his mood changed. The fact that he had somehow, amazingly managed to not get lost had brightened his spirits considerably. A smile crossed Sabriel's face, though it didn't last long when he heard people not too far away. And, unfortunately, it seemed like he needed to go in that direction. It wasn't that he hated people, no, that most certainly wasn't the case — he just didn't exactly feel like being around anyone right now.

Then he saw it. Great, he hadn't been the first one to room two-hundred twenty-one. Apparently, it seemed these two were his room mates. Sabriel's ears pressed down against his head and he sighed, walking the last few yards toward the dorm room and half knocked on, half opened the door, stepping inside. Sabriel looked at the two other males, one of which seemed to be about his age, while the other seemed to be other than him. Well, hopefully, he would end up making friends and staying here wouldn't be a complete nightmare.

"Er, um... hi!" he said, trying to sound happier than he actually was, and offering the two a small smile before walking over to one of the beds that was currently unoccupied. The boy put his bags down, and since he didn't really feel like unpacking at the moment, he sat down on the bed. He was silent, seeing as how he didn't know what to say. The thirteen-year-old wasn't in one of his most talkative moods, but it looked like he would have to try. "I'm Sabriel. I know I'm stating the obvious now, but I guess we're room mates."

The two brothers stared at the newcomer in silence.

Well, this was awkward, Kiiroi thought. The boy looked uncomfortable and...slightly energetic. Too energetic. Would've matched a girl, but, not a thirteen-year-old kid alike himself. So he decided to make it easier for him. "Cheerio, m'dear friend! 'Tis pleasant to meet you, Sabriel!" he greeted, not at all ticked, but he could've been. "Welcome aboard, we just moved in here, y'see, so it's brightly nice to find a dormmate just when we just came. You may call me Kero, if you wish to query me, and this is Akane, my older brother."

Akane was slightly taken aback by his sudden rambling. Oh boy. Was he in his "English" version of talking. He never noticed Kiiroi talked that much; he was usually silent and never said anything more than two sentences at a time. And he was antisocial.

Then, Kiiroi gave a swift look at him, goading his older brother to introduce himself, and be respectful.

"Good morning to you too, Sabriel," he nodded in acknowledgement. Maybe Kiiroi was in his... talkative mode?

"Cheerio, m'dear friend! 'Tis pleasant to meet you, Sabriel!"

The thirteen-year-old blinked. Wow, he was getting a hello in a British accent and all. That had never happened before, and to be quite honest, he didn't exactly know how to respond. He wasn't sure whether the boy was actually British or not, but he was leaning toward the fact that he wasn't, for some reason. He did smile very slightly, though, glad that the other male wasn't mad. Sabriel said nothing, though, in case he was going to accidentally interrupt the other male. When he introduced himself as Kero, and his brother as Akane, he nodded. "It's nice to meet you both," he said quietly.

So, the two were brothers? The boy looked between the two of them, sort of looking for a resemblance, but on the other hand, not really caring. He wished he would have been able to room with his brother, but for some reason, the people at this school hadn't let him. Oh, well, not like it mattered now.

"So," he began, thinking. Wow, he had suddenly gone blank for conversation topics. Ah, well! He would have to say something anyway, seeing as he had already started saying something. "If you don't mind my asking, what are your powers?" he asked the both of them. It wasn't the best question ever, but it was all he could come up with at the moment.

"Um, you really-" the older sibling started.

"Eh, Akane here can go through stuff and not feel change in temperature. Handy, often," Kiiroi interrupted him, still chirpy as usual. The other boy looked incredulously at him. "And 'lil ol' me. I can manipulate my body structures," he said, actually telling the truth, and smiling. "It's alright, and I've pretty much got it down."

He was lying. That was Kiiroi, alright: lying with a straight face. He was lying, really well.

Akane just shrugged in responce. And he thought that Kiiroi's power was a touchy subject. Akane only knew that he was lying, because Kiiroi never let him have the truth, and even if he did, it might as well be a lie. So, what was there to think about?

As the older sibling, Akane, started, Sabriel wondered if what he had asked was a bad thing. If it had been, he hadn't meant to ask it, and he would have taken it back. However, when Kero interrupted him, he decided it had been alright to ask. At least, he hoped it had been.

So Akane could go through things and not feel temperature, and Kero himself could change his body structures. It seemed that the latter of the two would be a harder power to master, but even with that thought, the thirteen-year-old believed the other when he said he had mastered it. Maybe it just wasn't as hard as he had originally thought.

"I see," Sabriel said. "I myself can use shadows to teleport." He didn't mention the second part to his power, using the shadows to trap people, seeing as he used it so rarely that he barely even considered it a part of his power.

Akane stayed quiet, and began unpacking his things, while his brother just started to ramble on again, lazying waving his left hand around.

"That's cool, I mean, to teleport is fun, but to teleport through shadows are cooler. It's just very rarely to see someone with a skill like that, something that doesn't put their lives at risk, y'know," Kiiroi said, falling into a more casual tone. It surprising how much he actually had to say, so after that he smiled and shrugged before going on, "My power is slightly well, useful, to say that it works most of the time." This didn't make sense, but sort of did at the same time.

He recieved an odd stare, motly from Akane, who couldn't help notice that he was actually talking about his powers.
