Room 123

Stepping lightly, Scryal pulled his medium-sized suitcase behind him. He stopped at a door, hoping this was the right room.

"...room 123" He heard in his head again. Of course. Why even bother thinking about being wrong when he heard the words? This was the right room.

He took the key out of his pocket and opened the room. He walked in to find that it was large enough for two people. perhaps three. There was a small living room with a bathroom adjacent to it, and then another door leading to what he could see was a bedroom. There was another door next to the one leading to the bathroom, which he assumed was another bedroom. That door was closed.

He pulled his suitcase into the room with the open door and set it in the middle of the floor. He looked around, smiling slightly. It wasn't very large, but certainly fit his needs. A single bed occupied one corner and he had a nice few of the grounds, which he liked very much. A fair sized dresser sat opposite the bed. Thankfully, he also had a closet opposite the window. He liked closets. They were much more useful than dressers; you could put more into a closet and a wider variety of things.

He didn't bother unpacking now, and instead went out to sit on the couch to wait for his room mate. He assumed he hadn't been here yet. Scryal closed his eyes and began to meditate.

As he carried his bag down the hallway, he couldn't help but feel slightly... well, for lack of better words, giddy. He was at a school for peers with special abilities... a place where he could meet others like him. A place he could train and be taught by proffessionals. This was truly Heaven on Earth for him.

As he neared his door, he began counting off the door numbers. "119... 120..." he muttered, nearly bouncing off the walls with excitement. He couldn't remember the last time he was this excited. "121... 122..." he continued, voice beginning to get louder with every number. How could he contain his enthusiasm? "123!" he announced in a moderately loud tone with a grin. However, his grin faded- the door was still open?

Walking inside the room, he was amazed by the size of the room- it was more like a condo than a dorm room. Continuing forward, he found someone else on the ouch.

"Oh, hey there. You my roomate?" he asked inquisitively. If so, taht made it less awkward.

"Oh, hey there. You my roomate?"

Scryal snapped out of his meditation and smiled at the newcomer. He stood up.

"Yes, in fact, I would suppose I am," He said fairly cheerfully. This person looked like someone he could get along with easily; of course, Scryal was an easy person get along with on the whole.

"I'm Scryal," He said, "And you are...?" He asked inquisitively.

"Name's Soryuju." he replied with a grin. "I'd shake hands, but I have bags in both hands." he said with a laugh. This guy seemed nice, which was good, seeing as it would be pretty hard to room with someone who was a jackass.

"So, which room's yours?" he asked, nodding towards the two bedrooms. He couldn't wait take a look around the place- the only reason he came here first was to drop off his luggage.

Scryal smiled a bit more about his comment.

"Don't worry about it," He said.

"I've taken the room with the open door, so the other is yours. You're closer to the bathroom," He said jokingly, "I'll get the door for you," He said and walked over. Turning the handle, he pushed the door open and went inside, holding the door open for Soryuju. He didn't look around the room, however; he watched Soryuju.

"Thanks," he said, still grinning as he carried his bags into the room. Even the bedrooms were huge. Dropping his bags beside his bed, he turned to look around the room.

"Everything's so nice here. I feel like I'm in a five star hotel." he admited in an awe-like tone. Turning back towards Scryal, he smiled. "So, how long you been here?" he asked out of curiousity.

Scryal nodded his agreement with everything being nice.

"As to how long I've gone here, I just started last year. When I got here, well, just about 20 minutes before you," He said, then continued, "Do you want to go walk around or would you rather unpack first?" He moved away from the door and more into the room.

"I wanna see the place first. I'm the kind of guy who lives out of a suitcase, anyway." he admitted with a grin. "Besides, some of my things haven't arrived- had to go through customs and such." he added honestly.

'Things like my weapon of choice.' he thought, chuckling a bit on the inside.

Scryal smiled. "Okay. Want to take a walk with me?" He asked cheerfully. He thought for a second Soryuju had better take advantage of Scryal's good mood. He didn't know how long it would last...He pushed the thought out of his head.

[[Zomg, I'm so sorry. Been so busy with projects lately.]]

"Sounds great!" he replied with a large grin plastered on his face. "Guess you'll give me a quick tour as we go then, hmm?" he asked as he walked out of his room into the rest of the apartment.
