Stepping lightly, Scryal pulled his medium-sized suitcase behind him. He stopped at a door, hoping this was the right room.
"...room 123" He heard in his head again. Of course. Why even bother thinking about being wrong when he heard the words? This was the right room.
He took the key out of his pocket and opened the room. He walked in to find that it was large enough for two people. perhaps three. There was a small living room with a bathroom adjacent to it, and then another door leading to what he could see was a bedroom. There was another door next to the one leading to the bathroom, which he assumed was another bedroom. That door was closed.
He pulled his suitcase into the room with the open door and set it in the middle of the floor. He looked around, smiling slightly. It wasn't very large, but certainly fit his needs. A single bed occupied one corner and he had a nice few of the grounds, which he liked very much. A fair sized dresser sat opposite the bed. Thankfully, he also had a closet opposite the window. He liked closets. They were much more useful than dressers; you could put more into a closet and a wider variety of things.
He didn't bother unpacking now, and instead went out to sit on the couch to wait for his room mate. He assumed he hadn't been here yet. Scryal closed his eyes and began to meditate.
