Romi's Relationships

Plotting with me is pretty much always open, but read ahead for a bit more info. In general terms, I prefer prolonged, multi-thread plots over one shot deals. I keep a small stable of characters, but I try and make sure they cover a lot of bases so there's something for everyone. I don't drop characters often, and I always give notice to anyone involved with them.

I'm a big fan of long term, in depth plots, complicated romance, and pre-existing relationships (childhood friends, classmates, etc). I do try and limit myself to one or two major plots per person, just to avoid getting all my eggs in one basket, and the same goes for threads. I really don't like figuring out how two characters run into one another!

I generally post in batches every 2-3 days, mostly on weekdays. I'm normally around (but not doing replies) on the weekends. It's VERY rare for me to leave a post waiting for a week, so generally speaking I like to RP with people who post at least once a week as well. When I'm caught up, I'm totally down for speed threading if you give me notice. My posts round out somewhere between 200-300 words on average.

Angelo was a member of the Genovese crime family in New York before he came to Manta Carlos, turning over a new leaf and becoming a member of the Manta Carlos Police Department. He was a half reaper, but recently gave that up and became a full human. After two promotions he's now a sergeant on the force. He recently became known for adopting almost a dozen kids, the former adoptive children of the Rosales crime family, leading to speculation that he was somehow involved with them.

Easy Plot Hooks: Other cops, criminals, people who know his kids, other parents.

Major Plot: Angelo just had his younger-self-from-another-dimension drop in on him. He's still getting him set up, and is complaining to anyone who will listen.

Havoc is a former member of the US Army, and a fire-air elementalist. He has no family on the island, but was the student council president during his time in Starlight Academy. Since graduation he's become an extraction scout, workign under Titus Drakenhardt.

Easy Plot Hooks: Anyone related to student council, elementalists, other scouts, anyone he might have rescued.

Major Plot: Recently started as a scout. Pursuing the possibility of regaining a normal emotional capacity.

Valli grew up on Manta Carlos, and after he was the victim of a high profile crime that resulted in serious love potions being declared illegal, he became a therapist and worked on helping others. He now has both a private practice while also working for the school. He's involved romantically with Gask, and is a familiar face at anything related to the VR simulations.

Easy Plot Hooks: Any sort of adult friends, patients, fellow staff at the school.

Major Plot: Currently trying to find adult friends who aren't related to his work.

Jackal is a former torturer, originating from his own specific variant of Hell. He's capable of telling who has or hasn't killed (with some small exceptions). He's involved heavily with the Drakenhardts, and works as a bartender at the Green Hat. He's mostly famous for having flown off to Mes and killed their god on Malara's behest.

Easy Plot Hooks: Murderers who regret it, those who don't, and any prax.

Major Plot: Jackal's back from space as of the start of July.

Evan is originally from an alternate dimension, having been summoned by his parents. A few months after arrival, he killed the parents who had summoned him (for threatening to send him back), and did time in jail for it.

Easy Plot Hooks: Anyone who knew his original.

Major Plot: Evan's only just out of jail, and trying to catch up on what he missed while he establishes himself again.

Jude is a dimension-hopper, an alternate version of Angelo Genovese with a very different history. He was a teenage superhero in his home dimension, although when things took a turn for the worst he (and his friends) were evacuated to a new dimension. He's a friendly kid who's still trying to adapt, and he has a strong sense of justice.

Easy Plot Hooks: Anyone who interacts differently with gods, empaths, people from other dimensions.

Major Plot: Jude's recently got a job (Woodland Imports), and is trying to get himself some friends around his age.
