Nariko listened to what he said, a feeling of shock going through her. She didn't let it show on her face, and her eyelids closed half-way. She knew she couldn't leave him; she loved him, and he was the reason her wings were healed, he was the reason that she was opening up more, he was the one that made her happy. Even if he had killed in his past, she knew that she just couldn't say that it was the end of their relationship, even if might be for the better. She just wouldn't do that. Her eyelids opened completely and she frowned when he broke out into sobs, and she hugged him even tighter. She had been able to help him stop crying before... and she just hoped she could make him feel better again.

"I don't care..." she said quietly. "I've been hurt before, it won't matter to me if I get hurt again... And even if our relationship is different, that's fine... I just don't want to go without seeing you for that long ever again..."

Zaine let himself cry without holding back. He held Nariko closer, knowing she was trying to comfort him, but not outright make him stop crying. He knew he needed this cry, he needed to let out his emotions after so long, and he did. He shook his head, and brushed her bangs aside, seeing both her eyes. "It has been...Much too long...." He said in between sobs. He leaned close to her, his forehead resting against hers, his eyes looking into hers, and gave her a single kiss on the lips.

Nariko just held him, knowing that trying to make him just stop crying wouldn't be the best thing to do. He probably needed to cry, and she wasn't going to just go and force him to stop. She blinked for a moment when he brushed her bangs to the side, but smiled somewhat after just a moment, not really caring. Zaine was really the only person she would allow to look at her entire face, since she didn't like people to see the odd colored blind eye that was hidden by her bangs.

She nodded slowly in agreement. Not seeing each other for months is officially out of the question from now on... she thought to herself, and returned his kiss. She still just hugged him, not knowing when he would begin to feel better, but still hoping she could at least help comfort him a bit.

After a few long moments, Zaine forced himself to let go of her, pulling his lips from hers, and stepping back. "Nariko...Its good we're together...But the danger is tenfold now...Adramelech is still chasing us..I dont know what happened to Kether....My...My brother....he's alive...and he wants to kill you.....And....And.." He continued to cry, falling to his knees. "Daath.....Daath isnt really a dragon...it was a guise...Daath...The dragon....He's the reason theres so much danger.....Hes the reason we cant just be together in peace...He....He isnt a messanger of the abyss, like Adramelech or Kether...He..He IS the abyss!" He managed to say, before sobbing even harder.

At the mention of Adramelech, Nariko's eyes went somewhat wide. Oh, she had thought that he and Kether weren't completely gone. She should have known it for sure, seeing how hard it had been to defeat them both. She blinked at the mention of his brother, and him wanting to kill her; she felt a bit afraid, but she knew how to defend herself. She swallowed, knowing that if she couldn't protect herself, then Zaine most certainly would. And if he couldn't... well, she wasn't going to think about that.

She went down to her knees with him, still hugging him close. She gasped in shock when he said that Daath was the reason that they couldn't be together in peace, and that he was the actual abyss. Anger went through her as it sunk in, knowing that they had both been deceived.

She was silent for a few moments, not exactly knowing how she should respond to all of this. "Zaine... I'm sure that everything is going to fine..." she said softly. Knowing him, and the fact that he had actually been able to put up a fight against Kether and Adramelech, she knew that it wouldn't be too easy for him to be defeated. "Are any of them near by? Or haven't they found us yet?" She regretted asking that as soon as the words escaped her mouth, thinking that maybe he needed more time to calm down. "Sorry for asking that," she said in the same quiet tone of voice as before.

Zaine shook his head. "Decessus is here. He already found me, but hes out of the way for now. I dont know anything about Adramelech, or Kether, Or Daath. But...Lets forget them for a while...." He said, holding her close. "Lets just be happy we're together..." He started to get up, then stopped. "Lets go to the academy's cafeteria. I'm a little hungry, and you look like you could use the warm food inside you, too.." He said, helping her up.

"Decessus is here. He already found me, but hes out of the way for now. I dont know anything about Adramelech, or Kether, Or Daath...."

Nariko was guessing that Decessus was his brother, since she recognized the other names. And, after all, he had never told her that he had a brother. She nodded slowly when he said they should forget them for a little while, not completely sure if she could do that. Those four were going to be a constant danger, she was sure of it, and she didn't know if she could keep her mind off of it.

She wasn't too hungry, but she supposed going to the cafeteria would be fine. He had said he was hungry, and she didn't exactly have any better ideas on where to go. She nodded her head again, and allowed him to help her up. "All right," she said softly, beginning to walk back toward the school.
