Diligo looked into Sagari's eyes and spoke as calmly, and yet as firmly, as people would consider possible. "No, don't worry, it doesn't bother me at all."

Diligo wasn't really too worried about getting lost. As a boy he had looked into complex scientific diagrams, and since he was young he had learned to memorize them. In comparison, he realized, a simple forest was nothing. He wouldn't lose his path. And besides, he now had someone who needed his guidance, at least in a way. Diligo had never been needed for anything before; this was all so new to him. He smiled and glanced at the ground, just at the moment to realize what was below him.

"How unusual," Diligo stated, as he ducked down to take what he had found. He took reddish flower from the ground and held it out to Sagari. "I haven't seen these since.." He paused, unsure of himself. "In a long time. Their certainly quite rare, at least where I lived."

Kagami smiled at him as he said it was okay and held on a little bit tighter now that she knew it was okay with him, as the sun was going down the woods were a little spooky and it frightened her a little.

She looked at the flower and lifted her other hand taking it as delicately as possible and smelling it. It was an interesting scent, like a mix between lilac and lemon. It was nice.
It's gorgeous...I've never seen anything like it before. Thank you for sharing it with me. she said and looked up at him, the same genuine smile on her face as before. This one fun, she hadn't met many people at the school but Diligo was by far the most charming.

"It is a bit awkward to find such things here. The forest is usually too hostile for such things. And its not even connected to its roots.." Diligo, at this point, noticed Sagari's grip grow more firm, but rather than make him uncomfortable, it seemed to strengthen him slightly, like a bond between entities growing ever stronger.

"You know, I didn't realize it before just now, but, if you don't mind me saying it, your voice is quite elegant, I've never heard anything so before." Diligo said. He chose not to mention the fact that where he lived before, few people were younger than 35, and few of those people were female. Diligo heard something incredible in Sagari, their was no reason to give specifics.

Sagari looked at the flower, her smile softening.
Poor thing, it didn't have any strength to go on living. You saved, at least for a little while... things like this always made Sagari sad, the fact that such beautiful flowers had to die.

A slight blush crept onto her cheeks when he commented on her voice she looked up at him and said
Thank you, I haven't had anyone say that to me before, it was very kind.

It was getting darker outside, but color was still recognizable, and though Sagari's blush was slight, Diligo found it to stand out. Diligo had made his comment relatively casually, but now that someone had reacted, it brought a whole other emotional factor into things. Diligo had almost forgotten how people responded to actions in the real world.

"Its nothing, I just, speak my mind, I suppose." Diligo finally replied. He looked into Sagari's eyes and realized, quite suddenly, what the future may have in store for him. People are incredibly interesting, he noticed, and though he honestly doubted anyone could be as enchanting as Sagari, he was curious what would come of humanity.

"No one's said such to you? I can't help but feel either you're being highly modest, or many people simply lack senses."

Sagari was shocked by his kindness, she stumbles in on him and he's just amazing.
maybe you just see things in me that no one else can see. she said and looked down at the ground, feeling as though she shouldn't have said it the moment she did... should she really jump to conclusions like that? He may think her crazy....
At that moment she stepped on a twig that made a loud cracking sound that ressonated through the woods. She yelped and put her head on Diligo's shoulder.

At Sagari's scream, Diligo launched into guard. Stupid paranoia, he thought to himself, realizing it was only a twig.

"Perhaps I do; see something, that is. But I doubt its just me, I just met you, but you seem quite amazing." Diligo stated. Suddenly, another sound began, something very unlike anything before. A rustling in the bushes in front of them. Diligo (Stupid Paranoia) assumed a sort of guard stance, and though subconsciously, his stance placed him between the shrubbery and Sagari. Diligo waited as something began to make its way from the bush.

Sagari let go of Diligo's arm and stood behind him her hands flat on his shoulders to let him know she hadn't run off. She didn't want to get in the way, although she was a strong fighter herself.
Diligo....what is it? she asked afraid to go look, you never knew what you would find in the woods...especially at this school.
Subconciously her left foot moved backwards putting her weight even between both feet to make for an easier fighting stance. Even though she didn't know what it was, she was prepared to fight. Fight for herself, and Diligo.

Diligo hesitated, but took a step towards the bush. Whatever was on the other side, he intended to have the upper hand.

"Something, is over their. Not exactly sure, to be honest." Diligo said. "Can you fend for yourself? I don't want to endanger you." He rose his hand up, prepared to strike at any moment. He checked, a strange glare in his eyes. Something people rarely see, a look of pity, and resolve.

Suddenly, the bush shook violently, and pouncing from it; a fox. Diligo took a double take, a silence. Stupid Paranoia...

Sagari nodded when he asked if she could fend for herself and moved forward slightly still in fighting stance.
When the fox jumped out she giggled.
She had a weakness for fuzzy animals.
Aww, hey there cutie! she said and bent down near him rubbing his head between his ears.
What a cute little guy he was. She made sure that he was comfortable with her before she picked him up.
What do you think? He's only a baby. Should I keep him? He is awful cute... she said wondering what might have happened to his parents while simultaniously trying to pick out a name.
