Relatable

"Ah that's awesome." Said Tez, reaching into a pocket. He would usually have given a buisness card at this point, but that only had his name and phone number on it, no email address, and the cards were printed white text on a black background. It looked oh-so stylish, but was a pain to make edits too, so instead he pulled out the receipt for his morning coffee and a pem, and wrote his name and academy email address down on the back, before offering it to chloe.

"That's my name and email address. I'll take a look at the schedule and attend as many meetings as possible, study and work permitting."

As he offered it to her, he noticed her looking at his face, or, more specifically, his mouth. Nervously Tez ran a hand through his hair, and plucked out a feather, which he flicked aside.

"Are you, er, freaked out by the teeth?" Said Tez, noticing Chloe glancing at them. His teeth were odd, he knew that much. Most people expected pearly whites, not shiny blacks. The shape was odd too, with slightly longer incisors, less like a vampire, and more like the shape of a jaguar's.

"They're obsidian, same as my fingernails and legs, and sometimes other parts of my body."

As a demonstration, he held up a finger, and the obsidian from his fingernail began to bleed downwards until it covered his whole finger.

"It's another Tezcatlipoca thing. The smoking mirror. I can also turn stuff into obsidian, and do some wierd divination stuff, but I don't do cos it's.. not good."

Tez wasn't sure if Chloe was flirting, but, in a new environment such as the school, it was better to be safe than sorry, and attempted to turn the conversation back towards the DSU. If she was flirting then, well, Malara had his business card, so it wouldn't be hard to get his number. Tez had had business cards printed for that very reason. He was trying not to be the huge flirt he had been for the past couple of years, but old habits die hard. But this was a conversation about the DSU, not flirting. Tez nervously ran his hand through his hair, and pulled out another feather, which he fiddled with, slowly turning it back and forth between black obsidian, and it's original black and yellow colour

"Yeah. I once knew a dude who had, like, a squid beak. Fantastic kisser though." laughed Tez, hoping to break the tension "so beyond all the rallies and stuff, like the stuff people see publicly, what does the DSU do? like do you have socials?"
