Reading by the window

"You know, I could leave..." Alexavier said, pointing at the exit. The girl pouted. Lek rolled her eyes. "It's okay if you stay here. I just have to take care of some... inconvenient annoyances." She said, laughing evilly. The girl started to freak oout, her eyes darting around wildly. "I can do it, you know. I'll freeze you slowly until your heart stops beating and then let your little group drag you out." Her sinister grin scared the girl even more. Lekana lifted her hand, letting it hover over the girl's face, slowly cooling down the sweat pouring off the girl. With a great shriek, the girl flung herself away from Kana and ran out wildly, fear boosting her speed.

The silver-haired girl sighed, dropping her hand. "I still can't believe how gullible people are at this Academy..." She said. "She actually fell for it!" Lek twitched at the voice of the girl she had just scared, hollering in the corridor. "... and a banshee threatened to freeze me!..." She winced. "Me! A banshee? That's..." She trailed off, then smiled. "So where were we?"

Through the corner of her eyes, Lekana saw Alexavier raise an eyebrow at the girl, as if daring her to stay and stand her ground. She resisted the uge to start laughing in her face. The girl had glanced at him and run away. As soon as she had left the room, though, he shook his head, silent laughter showing in his eyes. "Did'ja..." He started to say, and then paused, visibly trying to control himself. "Did you see the look on her face?" He grinned. His fingers twisted in a little wave, and the air shimmered, then settled as the girl's face appeared in the air.

Lek looked at the face, taking in the detail of her face. The girl's face was twisted in fear, eyes widened and looking about to pop out. Her face was stretched and her mouth was pulled into a silent, horror-striken 'O'. What made the whole thing seem so comical, though, was that the girl had an enormous double chin. She could see the ribbons of fat. Lek started cracking up even as she was starting to get a grip on herself.

"Would've been funnier if you'd actually done it, though..." Alexavier trailed off, sighing, as the emotion was drained away from his face. "I'm afraid I can't recall what we were speaking of." He said. "That's okay. We'll talk about something new. Hmm... Let's see... Where did you live before you came here?"

Alex watched as the girl ran off and turned to the other two as they seemed to calm down before he spoke"you know untill today thought my father was crazy when he said women were crazy. Anyways just a thought next time mybe we should use our mind powers to make her think she really is freazing?" he spoke with a small smile as he turned towards them and listened to her speak about her past.

Kana grinned. "Yeah, and then pretend to unfreeze her and dismiss her, saying that she was lucky this time, but next time she would get even worse." She smiled. Who said entertainment couldn't be life threatening?
