"You're almost right." They paused for a long couple of seconds, trying to keep their explanation simple. "I am a dream. An infinite dream and universe. People live inside me. You're right about the rest."

So far, Dezzie showed no signs of being a threat. Sela got closer to her, wanting to better observe her features.

"It can be hard not fitting neatly anywhere. Do you fit neatly into something else?"

Dezzie was quiet for a moment once again as she took this in.

"You are...so many things!" She said with a happy little hyena sound that was somewhere between a little laugh and a yip. "So you're a dream, and a world, and even a home to others! That's amazing!"

"As for me...well..." She tilts her head and ponders the question. "That's a big question...in Hell, I was considered a 'lesser scavenger demon' but I also never really met a lesser demon who was entirely like me...and I'm not quite like other gluttony demons either. Most gluttony demons don't have diets as restrictive as mine."

Sela smiled widely at Dezzie's excitement. The rainbow inside of their mouth could be seen.

"You are unique too. I like meeting other unique people. I understand them better. It's hard to not have a place that understands you but unique people understand each other better so we make our own place together. I think I like you, Dezzie."

Dezzie's eyes widened when she saw the rainbow colors inside Sela's mouth.

"Woah! Your mouth is all colorful inside! My mouths are just full of teeth for chomping on bones and stuff..."

Then she perked up even more by what Sela said after. She was practically bouncing on her paws and let out a happy little yip.

"I like you too! And we can make our own place together--you're right!" She nods enthusiastically. "I...don't exactly know how to do that, cause I've never really had a place where I felt I belonged like that. But I'd like to try!"

Sela looked around the forest, thinking the answer was pretty obvious. "Why not here? As long as we avoid popular hunting areas and homes, we can have a private place here. Or in the Forbidden Forest."

And without a pause for transition, "I like your teeth. I can only swallow my food. I'm not tangible enough for chomping." Which made hunting rather boring once they had their prey cornered.
