Queen stands twenty-five inches tall with a wingspan of fifty-three inches, and weighs roughly four and a half pounds. She’s not the largest of Snowy Owls, but she certainly isn’t the smallest. Her feathers are a lovely snow-like shade of white. She is spotted and slightly barred dark brown on the crown and upperparts. Her flight and tail feathers are faintly barred dark brown, while her underparts are white, with brown spotting and barring on the flanks and upper breast. Her beak is the colour of charcoal, which perfectly contrasts with her beautiful, golden eyes.

Personality Description:
Queen is mostly polite and somewhat regal-acting. She doesn’t initiate conversation often, but not due to shyness; she’d rather spend her time studying. She’s extremely studious, and loves learning new things — especially those related to her powers. She’s not really into social events, and would much rather stay at home with a book. This doesn’t mean she’s anti-social, however. She does enjoy company and will gladly spend time with others.
However, she’s not always nice. She can become extremely cranky if someone interrupts her studying or talks bad about learning knowledge.

Biography:
This particular Snowy Owl was born in the forests of Canada. She had a normal owl life until the day she flew the nest to live on her own. She wasn’t the best at flying and had troubles grasping onto the skill. During a flight, she started going too fast and lost control, and snagged her wing on a branch. She tumbled to the ground, crashing like an airplane. Just as if her luck couldn’t get any worse, a red fox nearby had caught her scent and found her. The fox drew in closer and closer, jaws dripping with hunger-induced drool. Just when she thought she was about to be eaten, a flash of light scarred the fox away, yet something inside her also felt… different. She was blinded by the light for a few seconds, then she heard a voice and felt herself lifted from the ground. Soon after, she passed out.
She later awoke in unfamiliar surroundings, with a strange two-legged creature; a human. It spoke to her, saying “Are you okay?” She responded with “I am now,” which seemed to have startled it. She was confused, herself. She now had all this knowledge and ability to communicate with this human. The human introduced herself as Draupnir Robinhoode, a magician. Draupnir explained that she saved her from the fox with her magic, but seemed to have accidentally used a spell that caused her to have human-level intelligence and be capable of human speech. The owl was confused, but understood. Draupnir then convinced the owl to let her take care of her and raise her as her own, and gave her the name “Queen.”
Queen lived a normal life from that point — as normal as a talking owl being raised by a magician could be. She soon learned that her exposure to her mother’s magic had given her a magical gift.. She discovered that her breath had become piercingly cold, and things she touched became covered in frost. She had been gifted ice elemental magic. Draupnir trained her how to use it the best she could, which was as far as controlling it to where she wouldn’t freeze everything she touched. That was until they received a letter from Starlight Academy.
Queen was extremely excited, and now two years old by the time she received the letter. She excitedly left her mother for the Academy as soon as possible, though her mother was sad to see her go. She promised to write to her at least once a week.

Ice Elemental Manipulation
- Queen has the always-active ability to exhale cold air.
- She also has the ability to make frost grow from her touch to an object, though she doesn’t have much control over it and isn’t very experienced.
- If she uses her ability to create frost too much, she has a energy lapse and can even pass out (severity of repercussions depends on length of use and level of strength used).
