Man there really was a lot he could get into. Fortunately Lottie was pretty inquisitive so he'd just follow her train of questions. Normally he'd be looking to get into some kind of mischief or go exploring, but in a way all of his active habits were rooted in a need to learn. He figured Lottie was similar in that regard. That was probably why he liked spending time around her... or at least part of it.

"Well you can always kinda tell when someone important's coming to visit because there's sort of a mad rush. Don't worry, you'll know. My clan's actually not from this dimension, we're kinda like you and your party. We came here and started exploring this dimension. Dragons with multiple heads are usually more capable of stronger levels of control over their elemental abilities. I think it's something like there's one primary head, and the other two act to enhance awareness. Sometimes they take on subconscious aspects of the main person. So One head might act hungrier, and the other is more aggressive."

Alaric's tail flicked, as he thought about anything else to add. "You might end up filling that notebook if I keep giving you information."

Lottie cracked open the her book and clicked her ballpoint pen to make note of the information Alaric was freely giving her. There was a lot to go through and she wanted to have it written down somewhere. Honestly she found the act of writing things down helped her commit this knowledge than anything else, but at least she had her notes to be doubley sure about something! The more Alaric spoke of his family, the more she realizes how much history there is behind his family.

"Yeah, I sure I will know it when I see it. And I guess the whole "popping in from another dimension" is another thing we have in common. How about that?" commented Lottie as she draws a sketch of three headed dragon and making little notes next to it. She found it rather amusing how each head had a little bit of their own personality, even if they were not all wholly independent.

"Hee... that would be impressive! But I am pretty sure I will have plenty of pages to spare even if you tell me everything you know." spoke Lottie as she gave him a coy smirk. Afterall, she had pretty special notebook.

"Huh... sounds like a challenge to me. Guess I've got no choice now, I'll just have to stick with you and tell you everything I know... and then some," he joked, trying to look cool as he said it though. It probably made him look even sillier though.

"Oh yeah!" Alaric's tail swayed eagerly. "Do you um wanna see me transform? Into a dragon I mean..."

He was pretty sure he hadn't shown her what he looked like as a dragon. Now was as good a time as any, since they were in a place where he knew there would be more than enough room.

"Ha ha! Alright challenge accepted then~ I will have to hear everything thing you know. Even those deepest darkest secrets~" chuckled Lottie, finding the half-dragon boy to look rather silly when he tried to impress her but she found it all the more endearing.

"Your dragon form? Heck yes I wanna see!" gushed Lottie, quick to share her friends enthusiasm. A quick glance at his tail made her smile all the more brighter as she could see how excited he was to show her as well. She then took a quick glance around the room, which while large, she had no idea if it was large enough.

"There are you going to do it in here? Should I step back just a bit to give you room? I mean... I imagine your pretty big when you get all dragony." spoke up Lottie, trying to get an idea how to not end up getting squished accidentally.

"Oh no definitely not in here. We can go out to the back, there's a lot of room back there," he said gesturing for her to follow. Alaric would lead her through the house and out the back door, onto a deck which he simply hopped off the railing of and flew out into the large back yard. The center was marked with a single large elegant tree, with unfamiliar flowers growing around it.

The young dragon landed and shifted with a burst of intense heat. It was easy enough to say that Alaric was definitely too large to fit in the library, and by dragon standards he was pretty large even for a young dragon. His tail, wings, and horns were definitely more pronounced now. And his black scales seemed to radiate heat the closer someone got.

He stood for a moment, before taking the chance to lie down on the ground.

"Ah! Okay." piped up Lottie whom then tagged along with Alaric outside to the deck.

It was quite a glorious view of the expensive backyard with but a large flowering tree at its center. When Alaric hoped over the railing, well Lottie wasn't all that concerned. He had wings after all. So when she looked down over the railing, she had to shield her face for a moment from the burst of sudden heat. As she peek her eyes open, she was awestruck by the sight of large dragon whom looked like fresh molten lava bursting forth from basalt. Somehow he was a little bigger than what she expected... actually a lot bigger.

"Holy moly your humongous! I can feel your heat from here! Can I get me get closer?" even as Lottie said this she had already hoped over the railing to meet Alaric on the ground. If Alaric does not intervene, she would gently fall down to the ground, as if though she was weightless.

Alaric attempted to tone his heat down as best as he could, then moved closer so that Lottie wouldn't have to walk as far. He figured even without her boots, the fall wouldn't be too much for her. She was an adventurer, after all. The air had cooled enough that it wouldn't be oppressive for her as she got closer. That said, his scales would still feel like hot pavement if she reached out to feel them.

"That's not even close to my maximum temperature either," he said. "Just be careful, my scales are perpetually warm."

"Oh really?" asked Lottie, already reaching out to touch the dragon because she just had to know how warm he was. The answer, a lot warmer than she expected.

"Oh phew, your very very warm... like trekking through the desert sands sort of warm." she said as pets Alaric a few more times before his radiating heat forces her retract her hand. As Lottie looks up to Alaric, standing up so close to him like this made her feel somehow much smaller... and she was already small to begin with!

"So how hot can you get?"

Alaric made a point to try and keep his head closer to Lottie's level so she wouldn't have to crane her head back so far. He thought about the question for a moment before he gave an answer. "Well, I got hot enough to melt steel one time..."

"I've got a really good control with my fire though. Better than my dad actually," he said proudly. Alaric even seemed to puff his chest out as he said this. "Uncle Gwyn actually planted the tree and those flowers, it's technically part of his hoard. Actually there's spots like this out in the forest too."

"Hee... so pretty hot them~" she mused as she made a quick not of how hot dragon flame can get. Lottie then snapped her book shut to give Alaric her attention, thankful that she doesn't doesn't have to break her neck to just try make eye contact. "Well I will have to see a demonstration of how much fine control you have over that fire breath, since you seem so keen on mentioning it."

Lottie looks to the tree Alaric spoke of, recalling it from when she was up on the balcony. Now that she one the ground she could marvel how stunning it was.

"Wow, that is really nice tree... you don't see much of those where I come from... or just... trees in general. I am sure Sage would learn all about the trees properties and whatnot." Lottie moved away to get closer to the tree walking until she stood by the reach of the shadow the tree cast. Lottie then takes a moment to appreciate the blooming flowers, smiling at their colorful display. Her head turns back to look to Alaric.

"Which one is Gwyn again? I will have to tell that I like his hoard. I guess it would be rude of me to try to pluck some of the flowers for myself huh?"
