Tellios found himself in the theatre. He got onto his knees as he could feel his face being torn. As if his face was cracked. Looking in the mirror he had a large crack going down his face. and the sight of nanites moving can be seen. He looked up seeing what looked like to be eyes. Which were just two lights pointing at Tellios that just kept... Moving. As if watching him. Breathing. It creeped Tellios out.

DESIGNATION?

He heard. The female voice that haunted him in the past now haunting him once more.. What was his designation? Who was it. Tellios looked at his hands. The skin fragments torn apart showing the nanites under. He blinked a few times. Who was he? Was he a robot? With the skin of a human!? Tellios began to tear off the skin and chuck it onto the ground as he felt an unbearable pain in his body. He screamed in pain as he dropped to the ground. Slowly attempting to crawl away. Nothing was working. When it stopped he heard.

YOU DESIGNATION. L-3-G-1-0-N. PLEASE RESPOND

The voice echoed as he slowly got back up. He looked around. As he tried to hold onto something. The name Pollyanna. Was that his name? No.. Pollyanna was. His... His girlfriend. He could remember Pollyanna, but his own name was a mystery. He attacked blindly as his visions was distorted by visions of a girl stand and constantly moving. "Shut.. Up.."

SHUT UP. NOT DESIGNATED.

Tellios felt a shock go through his body. This time to the point where he thought he was going to die. The pain was so intense he stopped moving and fell backwards. He opened his eyes again. Slowly getting back up. Pollyanna. Remember Pollyann- Who is Pollyanna?

MEMORY WIPE COMPLETE. RE INSTALLING SOFTWARE.

He heard as he grabbed his head. He could feel his head splitting open as he was being installed with something. He dropped to the ground into almost a puddle of nanites. The skeleton still intact with nanites that didn't move. His still beating heart. That was mechanical but looked real. Just different colors. Was still beating on the ground. The skeleton stood up slowly. Sitting in a chair. With nanites slowly as if on the masters command were going to his body one by one. As if instead of like friends. More as slaves to the master.

"Take over Complete." The skeleton smiled. Slowly flicking through information as it was downloaded. All the weaponry. All the devastation. At Miralis' finger tips. Tellios was no more. Miralis was the winner. There was only Legion. He got up and used a map of the island. Though it was small he looked through it all. Slowly obtaining a more female physique to show for the new AI. The new operator of Tellios' body spoke.

Time to destroy where he lived. I just need to wait. All I need is to wait. I waited for a few years. Whats a few more hours or days.

She needed to get away. The pain had barely numbed from inside of her, enough to become a dull migraine that linger from the corners of her skull. But everything else kept chasing her. The past day’s events were too awful for the young mutant. Her perfect date went down in flames to become sheer hell. What became a misunderstanding grew into much, much worse. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Her boyfriend was taken over by a voice she didn’t quite understand. Well, the majority of his body. And a cryptic message was left to her by the tiny fraction that remained- the fraction held within her little purse.

She’d be insane if she tried to tell her tale of the past twenty four hours to another person.

Already though she had gotten the taste of this mental disturbance. Her new modifications hadn’t shown themselves yet- mainly because she began to seriously fight the urge to shift. Her body was in no condition to do so. Her mind was a mess, and probably couldn’t take the transition either. It felt like her bones itched or something. They wanted to reform, to become what she truly was. But after Tellios’ reveal… She couldn’t take anymore change. Not from her, not from the world outside of her bubble. But the bubble had popped, and Pollyanna had to face the harsh reality of what was happening- Tellios was gone, she was changing, and both of them were in terrible, terrible danger.

So what was she to do? Honestly… She wasn’t sure what to make of the heavy plate dished out to her. For a good while of that day, Pollyanna stayed at home. Curled into a ball on her bed. Trying to make sense of the hell that happened, which crushed her sense of assurance and relentless optimism. Safe to say that Pollyanna wasn’t so much a pollyanna anymore from these few hours. But trying to sleep it off was futile. Her boyfriend’s supposed betrayal, his tearful and emotional apology, and the reveal of the female parasite that took over Tellios’ body. Who… Was she, anyway? The woman robot who warped his body and took him away from her… It traumatized her. All of this did. And now that the female had fled to where she could presumably never guess…

Polly felt… Useless.

But she wasn’t alone. She still had her boyfriend, trapped in the little robot that she always kept on her. For now she’d wander, making her way down the streets in thought. It was drizzling out, until steadily increasing to a rain. She didn’t want to get caught in it, and didn’t quite know how well the tiny things would hold up if he was soaked. And that was the last thing she needed. To lose it too.

After making her way downtown Pollyanna found herself lost for a place to go. She found herself out by the district where she met him that one day… The pier that was adjacent to the cafe they had lunch at. Those blissful memories seemed so far gone now. Now what she knew was the pain coming within her, and the lack of a hand to hold with traversing down the city.

It made her worry if things would ever be the same again.

For now she tried to keep her spirit up. The poor faltering thing was hanging by a thread, but she had to keep her chin up. When the going got tough, the tough got going. For an extra dose of support, her hand fumbled through her bag to bring the little nanite out. The one that was the last bit of Tellios she had left. Slowly, she brought the bug out. It was.. Endearing, had it not been tragic. But she was thankful for it. Even if her trust of him had taken an awful blow. Even still, she’d look to him for comfort.

"Tellios... I… I don’t trust that lady. There’s something. off about her." She muttered to him, raising a finger to brush over the metal bug. "I.. Promise I’ll find your body. And make things right." That much was a promise. She had no other option.

After all, this robot had professed his love to her. She absolutely couldn’t fail him now.

Nanite;

The nanite was picked up. Looking up at Pollyanna brought it to joy as it almost spurred to life as it was being pet and even rubbed against her fingers. The ran didn't seem to bother it much though stayed away from any puddles by staying in the middle of her hand.

A small blip came from the nanite, recalling where she is standing as it dropped it's tiny head a little. It was obvious the little nanite missed it's master. No. Friend. It looked at a Polly with a voice resembling what Tellios recorded. Pollyanna. Save. Him? Trying to get a point across, though the limited functionality of the nanite seemed to have hit a wall as it then pointed down the street with it's head. Seemingly in the direction of where they started.

As a we.

Tellios.

Drip.

Drip.

Drip.

Was all that could be heard as it was raining out. The sound of water hitting the old theatre as the body began to rebuild itself. It had taken a lot of time for it to do this. The creature that hid behind the facade of Tellios. That was acting human. Was slowly unleashing itself upon the world. With a smile on the skulls face it saw the heart.. Slowly walked over. Dragging the foot as the sound of metal on wood then processed with in the halls.

Miralis grabbed the heart and then examined it It was beating as it held it in cold grasp. The silver hued heart pumped fast. Acting as the last remaining peace of Tellios. Miralis smiled as he looked towards to the door then back at the heart. "We shall play a game. If your so called girlfriend comes through that door. I will allow you to see her once more. Before I see how much pain she can take from a heart transplant. With no anesthetics. Let's see you two be joined in death."

Slowly the Robot sat in the chair. Pretending to dead as the nanites built up the body again. Holding the heart in it's hand as it then began a timer. With out knowing were Pollyanna was. Miralis might not be in any trouble. It thought she was so stricken with fear. Or that it was for the best. Either way Miralis was going to finally kill Tellios. L3G10N once and for all. All it took, was the destruction of his heart. Right in front of the girl who he wanted to give it to.

Miralis' time was at hand.

This little fraction of him was her own last hope. Just as she was to him. It was a… Heavy task, to say the least. His fate was in her hands, and she’d rather not be the one to begin thinking if her boyfriend would never see her again. No… No, she couldn’t bare the thought. They had already begun something so wonderful together. And he loved her. She… She needed to give him her answer back. On how she felt. Despite everything that happened, she still felt a lot for him.

She couldn’t afford to have it all slip through her fingers.

The little nanite managed to make her smile for the first time in what felt like ages. Only a tiny bit, but it still managed to pick up her spirits. It was limited to its dialect, but had a very clear motivation. He wanted to go back home where it belonged. Where his host was stolen. She watched as its tiny head pointed towards a street. Down an alley that was all too familiar. "The… Theater?" She asked, glancing back down it to see that that was what it wanted. Pollyanna was puzzled. The fembot said to go where she least expected. But this… This place was too precious for her to breeze by. A determined look soon came across her tired face. She had a mission. "Perfect." She looked to the little nanite, placing her lips on it for a brief moment before sheltering it on her shoulder, under her layers of thick curly hair. "We’ll have you seeing all your other nanite friends in no time. I’ll give that robot lady a strong talking to. Nobody takes my boyfriend without a proper explanation." With that Pollyanna picked up the pace. The rain was growing stronger. Before it could begin to pour, Pollyanna had cleared the locked gate in front of the abandoned place. Little did she know she was falling into a trap. But she was ready. At least, she hoped she was.

With a push of the door Pollyanna found herself in the familiar foyer. It was quiet. Too quiet. But she didn’t want to cause too much a ruckus. She looked around, brown eyes wide as she tried to find an answer. She turned her head to whisper to the nanite, nested in her hair. "Do you have any other clues from here? This place is huge after all..." She gulped. "And I’m scared to find out just what this lady has in store."

Tellios could see all that was going on. He could see through the eyes He wasn't fully gone. Just.. There. As if a mute deaf person was watching, but someone else was pulling his strings. Seeing his heart beat with in the hands of a Skeleton really urked him. He wanted to do something but he couldn't. Like being locked away. the being still sat with in the chair, admiring the work that create this vessel that was being used. A sudden sound of a door opening creaked into the hall.

Po-.. What was her name? Polly.... Or was it Anna? PoPollyAnna? He thought, he knew someone was coming. The name escaped him. His girlfriend. Though the robot went limp. And Tellios' voice echoed through the hall.

"Help... Me.."

Could echo from the stage. Miralis was playing with Pollyanna and it knew it. The AI was going to have fun with her. With this, the AI was going to get Pollyanna to come straight for it. For the prize that was a dead Tellios. Or so she would think. Leaving nothing to chance to Ai halted all work on fixing the body. To make it look like Tellios was broken beyond repair for what he did to his sweet Pollyanna. Tellios wanted to scream it's a trap. To tell her to leave. Forget about him. Though he knew that wouldn't deter a determined Pollyanna. The body looked broken if Pollyanna followed the voice to it's resting place.

In a chair the exoskeleton of Tellios sat. The body looking like a pile of Nanites on the ground had been destroyed or dead. Tellios' eyes flickering on and off to show that either he had no power. Or was on his way to dying.

The Rain echoed in the hall the skeleton was in. drips of water landed on the skull. If someone was looking, they would notice the heart beating. Slowly as if giving up. The heart of Tellios was giving up hope. Even if inside Tellios was begging for Pollyanna.

He was alone.

He always was.

Help me

The ever-familiar voice echoed throughout the cryptic corridors of the theater. Whatever sense of assurance that Tellios was okay was shattered in less than a moment, as a look of anxiety crossed her face. Tellios was in trouble. She knew it, she knew it. That robot lady was up to no good. And now... And now Tellios was being hurt. As much as a robot could anyway. Thoughts of what ifs clouded her head as her own heart grew to accumulate more terror. No... No this wasn't happening. She needed Tellios she....

She needed to save him.

Her legs took off once more in a run. Beating down the worn marble flooring as she tried to direct where the voice came from. Even though she wanted to barge in wherever he was, she had to be wary. This robot was smart, and she was not so much. Polly relied mainly on her instincts and heightened senses to detect what was going on. The voice echoed louder closer to the main theater. She vaulted over crumbling furniture and gaping holes. Towards her destination, where they first kissed and admitted their fondness for one another. It almost made too much sense.

But when she finally did make her way through its ruined doors, she was in for a horrible shock.

Even from this distance she could she the morbidity of the situation. Her boyfriend was slumped over a chair. His body immobile. His body... Lifeless. Her hand drew over her mouth in her petrified terror. He... He...

She slowly began to approach him. Just as that... Thing wanted. She wasn't present now, but was presumably nearby. As the bat would fall into her trap. "Tellios... No..." She pulled herself up to the stage. To get a better look at what has happened. And... Upon closer examination... His heart was removed from his chest. Placed inside of his hand. Before a small fraction of relief could come to her seeing that he wasn't dead yet, she realized that she didn't have much time. Her hand reached up to brush his cheek, as water began to bubble up in her eyes. His nanites weren't moving. This... This was horrid...

But as she caressed his lifeless face, her senses were on edge. The changes he had made to her began to surface. A tiny bit, but enough to count. She could hear the boards creak, and his metallic heart beat. The sight was enough to make her severely nauseous. Her hands lowered as she shook. Her face turning from his to look around the auditorium. "Where are you..." She muttered below her breath. Pollyanna wasn't a vengeful person in the slightest. Not was she violent.

But somehow, someway, this robot was going to pay.

Tellios could hear running in the halls. Was it somebody in the building trying to explore it? He came here to explore it didn't he? He could vividly remember. A kiss. A... hug. Something.. Blossoming? What was it? Tellios was trying to think of what it was that happened. He remembered someone. Who was it!? WHO! He tried to remember. Who was she? Who was it that Tellios was trying to remember. He heard the doors open and through the blinking eyes he saw a girl come in.

She looked familiar. Though he wanted to scream to her to leave. To stop caring. Just to go away. He felt like screaming for her to help him at the same time. In a cage of his own making. Or someone else's. He couldn't move an inch. The heart responded by beating faster. When Pollyanna got close.

Miralis awaited Pollyanna as she got close. Asking where something was. Miralis shut off the lights with in the area. The sound echoed in the hall almost too planned for Pollyanna to find out. The target she wanted. Was right in front of her. As the Robot slowly got up the entire room was darkened to the point of where someone would need EXTREMELY good eyesight or dark vision to see in this place.

Miralis had both. All skills Tellios had were extended by a numerous amount as the sound of a female voice slowly echoed in the hall. From Stage left.

I'm
Centre stage behind her.
over
Stage right
Here

Miralis started to confuse the girl. This poor soul wanted her boyfriend. She would have to kill Miralis for the body. Or Miralis could just kill Pollyanna and be done with it all. The smile slowly gained fangs as it moved slowly. A light dangling flickered on the body standing away from Pollyanna. A portion of the leg had skin on it. Though it looked like Pollyanna came at a bad time.

Do you want this? The robot now holding out the heart in it's hand as it grinned with the fangs showing a small glint of evil. The lights in the building began to work again as the Robot chuckled. The last of L3G10N. That sorry excuse of a weapon. Fell in love with some innocent girl. Then back stabbed her and left her to rot in her own self pity. The robot pointed the heart at Pollyanna and slowly began to crush it as a white liquid began to spew out onto the ground. Till like someone crushing a water balloon it popped as Miralis dropped it to the ground. White splats resembling blood splats hit the ground. Even on the robot as it then stepped on it and slowly rubbed the heel of it's foot on it with a sadistic smile.

Miralis knew what was left of Tellios was dead. Everything. His life was destroyed. Now to destroy what had him happiest in life. Pollyanna. As Needles slowly protruded from the robots fingers and slowly walked towards Pollyanna, the sound of metal dragging on wood could be heard as it was readying to strike. It's unfinished leg dragging as the other skeletal one was leading.

"Run away little bat. I'll find you." Was what the robot said to Pollyanna. Intent on stopping her from telling anyone about what the robot was doing in this place as the Swarm of Nanites awoke from their slumber and began to move towards all exits. If Pollyanna was going to leave this room, she'd have to do it fast.

The rat bat,
Walked into a trap.
That even had a welcome mat,
All to sit on her boyfriends lap.

Was Echoing through the hall. Seeming to be said over and over.

Pitch black.

A chill writhed in her bones as terror soon followed suit. Initially, she could she nothing. If she had shifted… Well, her vision would be the same. But she could echolocate in that form. Here.. She was absolutely useless. Blind as a bat. Her arms wrapped around her chest in a self hug. She was alone now. Nothing but the sound of her shaky breath and the wind between the ruined rafters. That was until a metallic feminine voice called out. And instantly, her heart felt as though it stopped.

This was a horror movie come to life. Like most children Pollyanna feared what went bump in the night growing up. Except this was nothing of her wild imagination. This was reality. A disgusting twisted reality where she was a mere pawn in a game of a hellish chess. The tears that bubbled in her eyes stayed put. She couldn’t afford to blink them away, even for a second. It helped her more easily detect the figure that came out of the shadows, into a light that surfaced out of nowhere. A foot of hers stepped back in withdrawal as as a foot of its stepped forward. the figure was… Far more grotesque than anything she could become. Not because of its stolen parts of her boyfriend twisted into something horrendous. But because of that malicious intent she so obviously carried. This was wrong. So wrong. Even down to how she carried her Tellios’ heart in her hand. Treating it as if it were some rotten piece of meat rather than what kept her boyfriend alive. Taunting the mutant as if to emotionally stab her. Her breath was shaky. She held out her own hand as she nearly pathetically begged. Begged for mercy on behalf of Tellios. "P-please.. I-I-"

Squish

Pollyanna seized up.
Her eyes wide as she felt the world come to a stop. Her world. Him. Watching in utter futility as white liquid cascaded to the floor in a pool. Soon the organ itself joined into this puddle, dropping like litter to the dirty floor. Only to be crushed under the weight of the robot’s foot.

It beated no more. Nor would it ever again.

The world suddenly thawed as Pollyanna caught a grasp of reality. Her body unfroze. Only for her to stumble over to him. Collapsing to her knees as she reached his lifeless shell. It showed no more. Tellios was gone. He was… He was… "T-t-Tellios… Please… Wake… Wake Up..." Her hands were shaking like the last dying leaves on a tree in winter. And he was as cold as the season itself. Her hands around his decaying cheeks. The back of her fingers faintly tracing down the length of one. The water contained in her eyes finally shattered its reservoir. Tears streaked down her face, as a soft whine came from her lips. Her forehead placed itself against his. Grasping his face to cast the water onto his. It took everything for her to not shut down right here and now. ’Please… Please don’t leave me! I’m sorry, I’m sorry!" Her voice screeched. She failed. She didn’t save him. And now she would never see him again. Never feel the warmth of his touch, or feel accepted for who she was. She was a failure. An alone, scared failure. Both in creation in expectation. The cycle never broke. She really was nothing more than a monster.

But that’s what the robot woman wanted. And if she wished, she would receive.

Before she broke into violent sobbing, the robot was after her again. With more needles. Those damned needles. It was then the idea snapped into her head. This robot was toying with her. Making her the puppet. trying to torture her, like a lion playing with its prey. She was going to get killed eventually. But Miralis wanted to have fun first.

Sheer sorrow began to morph into rage. Restrained, yet directed rage.

Pollyanna stood. She wanted a game? Sure, she’d play. The words her Tellio said began to resurface in her fuzzy mind. He was gone. But she could still put an end to this reign of terror before this monster took the throne. She knew things the robot didn’t know she knew. And it would be used to her advantage. Her hands clenched into fists at her side. Her eyes still red with acrid water. She spoke one simple thing:

"I refuse to let you win."

With that Pollyanna could see with little light that she was sealing her in. No. No she would find the answer to its demise. Before it could hurt anyone else. If it meant taking the whole place down, so be it. If it meant sacrificing her own mortal body, so be it. But this… This fiend was not going to win. Not if she still had breath in her chest. She took off sprinting to the exit, as it was slowly closing in on her. But the nanites that she once adored were not completely present at the portal. So with a strong charge she burst through, dispersing any that accumulated. She ran as fast as her legs would carry her. She had a plan. She was going to avenge the robot- no, the man- that loved her.

Watching Pollyanna beg for the heart pleased Miralis and her face when she saw her face. Priceless to bad Miralis was a robot and got little pleasure out of this. She'd probably enjoying this A LOT more than it was now. It killed Tellios. What ever was left connected to the body was gone. Miralis was watching Pollyanna cry over the crushed heart.

It loved the pained expression that Pollyanna had. She was almost broken. Almost a lifeless corpse over her dead boyfriend. The smile never faded as it's hand moved for the kill. Putting nanites into her body. That was the method of killing. From the inside. "Tellios won't EVER wake up. He's been deleted. He was a failure." It said, then laughing maniacally. As if slowly going more and more insane by the moment. Miralis was enjoying this. "He's gone Bats, and you can not return him to his body. I own this body now! it's mine!" A twitch of the head caused a spark to fly out. it's foot dug deeper into the heart as she looked at Pollyanna.

"If you couldn't save your pathetic Sex toy. How can you save yourself?"

She then said something about not letting Miralis win. Slightly confused the robot pondered it for a moment and went to stop the ground before Pollyanna could run.

"That's right girl, Stay RIGHT there."

The needles hit the ground instead. Watching Pollyanna run and break down the door. "You can't hide forever Lab Bat. I will find you. And watch your slow. Agonizing death!" Miralis was sure to win this, though did not expect Pollyanna to try to run. The odds were ever changing. The nanites giving up sealing doors and trying to keep an eye on Pollyanna. by either keeping up. Or crawling onto the walls. Making it look like behind her was being covered in darkness. Miralis started to run too. As Pollyanna turned a corner, so did Miralis. Only saying. "THE BAT, BAT CAUGHT IN A TRAP, EVEN WITH A WELCOME MAT, ALL TO SIT IN HER BOYFRIENDS LAP" As the sound of creaking wood was covering the halls already terrifying sounds of rain and a hint of thunder.

The Robot would follow every step that Pollyanna took. Moving just as fast as Pollyanna. Trying to catch her but she did not have full control of the nanites yet. hands appeared trying to grab Pollyanna but were always too late. Each step was the poem over and over. As if acting like a child. Or enjoyed it and was getting some kind of sick thrill out of this. "I've won bat! I'll be sure to keep you alive as a pet to have you watch the world burn!"

The robot was not going to give up the chase to Pollyanna. It was too fixated into the current situation that it wasn't expecting Pollyanna to come up with a plan.

Nanite;

Tellios couldn't have picked a worse time to pretend to be dead. The nanite held everything about Tellios. Though it would take time if she got the body to stop. Tellios would be free to return to his body. The nanite to his friends. The nanite clung to her shoulder trying to find out what to do. For now nothing.

Her lungs filled and deflated with agony in each panicked breath. Her body was exhausted but she had to- no, it was dire to- keep running. She glanced back for only a moment to see that a curtain of darkness was only a few feet away, with that sadistic robot as its captain. The robot that stole Tellios’ body. The robot that destroyed his heart and all traceable methods of seeing if he was alive. But… But…. She had to remember what he said. To not believe plainly what she saw. Tellios wasn’t gone… He couldn’t have been. He was a robot with a heart but… The heart didn’t contain his data did it? What did he say… He said… Gah, her memory was fading from her rush of paranoid adrenaline. She tried to concentrate as she skidded over worn down floors and jumped away from where the nanites chased her. Something… Something about his heart.. It produced nanites.. But… But….

He could live without it.

Pollyanna would have stopped in her tracks then and there if she wasn’t running for her life. But that was it. She may have misheard, but it gave her hope that her boyfriend was still alive. He had to be. There were so many things that she wanted from him that she didn’t get a chance to express. He needed to be alive so that she could tell him how she really felt. Yes. That was her goal. That, and save people from being hurt by this evil AI. Pollyanna knew what she needed to do, but had to formulate a plan. He told her a keyword to get her to stop. To shut down the AI. She had to think fast and clever. Her chanting and cruel talk didn’t help in the slightest. So Pollyanna resorted to navigating with her hands over her ears. Those words were enough to drive her insane. That was the last thing she needed to be as she began to run out of space to run. The front exit was blocked off by the nanites. Which meant the hallway she was nearing was her last hope, as there was a single window at the end of it.

Only one thing to do.
Saying a little prayer to herself Pollyanna charged full speed ahead. "I’m not listening to you!" She yelled back at the robot as she leaped towards the window. Luckily she was on the first floor. So there wouldn’t be too much damage. Her body soon found itself bursting through thin glass and onto the pavement outside. Rain washed away blood from newly formed cuts. But those couldn’t hinder her now. She had to run…

To a brick wall right outside. A dead end.

Pollyanna came to a screeching halt as she looked to her demise in its face. She gulped. This was it. This was the end. Her body pressed itself into the wall, as she began to accept the inevitable. She was going to… No. No she wasn’t. At least not without a fight. She looked around, trying to find a solution. But first she needed to buy herself time. "Just who are you, and what do you want?!" She yelled out at it, face in a scowl as she screamed. "I am no one’s pet, and I am certainly not going to be your little plaything!" Her eyes continued to dart around. Finding… A door. An ornate, old door to the basement. And by the looks of it… The solid layer of water on the ground had begun to spill into it. As well as the gutter, busted over to direct all the collected water from the room into the basement. Perhaps her fate wasn’t sealed yet. She looked back to her, her eyes narrowed. "Your words don’t mean anything! Tellios is fifteen times the decent AI than you’ll ever be!" She needed to get it worked up. She needed it to strike. She needed everything to go perfectly.
