Belladonna thought the answer to that was completely obvious, but she stared at Luna questioningly, thinking that she might have perhaps gotten the wrong input. But after thinking about it, the android couldn't figure out any alternative meanings that could have been mistaken for.

"It is a test on whether I will perform at a satisfactory level in school. My experiences are limited, so I have been put on the 7th grade to measure how well I do among other people. It was a safe starting point for me, I was told. However I am expected to accelerate to higher grades once the results are calculated."

The android suddenly stopped and turned to look at the entrance to the park. There were still people there, mostly families and couples, with a few loners dotted among the thin crowd. "There is an exit through here that will lead home," she explained before wandering inside. "Nature is abundant here... Very different from the city."

Luna finally understood what Bella meant. A starting point to see which grade was best? To see how well she does to see where she belongs grade-wise? Kind of like a prolonged placement test for people coming transferring from out-of-country right?

"Oh, I understand! You're trying to see where you can be placed academically, and a decent starting point would be 7th grade. That sounds about right! I'm sure you'll do well. 7th grade was pretty easy if I remember correctly."

Seeing the park, Luna got a little excited seeing so many people around. And the nature was everywhere too, just as Bella said.

"Your home is nearby? Okay. I can still help you home from here if you like. With this many people around though, I wouldn't be too worried about somebody coming up to us and hurting us."

Belladonna nodded. "Yes, that is what test is for. Thank you for your confidence in me." Despite being an android, she was capable of being sincere. And since she was mostly flat when speaking, that sincerity would have been easily noticeable. "I will do my best and make everyone proud."

After seeing this, she looked at everything and everyone as the two of them walked on the path. So this was what people did in the park? Sit with family, or a partner and play, talk? That was interesting, but why here?

Again, Belladonna nodded when Luna spoke. "This is a longer route, but I wanted to see the park since I had the opportunity to do so. What is the purpose of parks?"

"Well, usually parks are where people go to relax, or play games. Some people bring their pets to the park so they can also run around and let some energy out. Sometimes there are parties done at parks for someone's birthday or something. Those are always fun."

Seeing so many people brought back some memories from when she was a child...Happy memories of course, but thinking about them made her wish that she got that happiness back...Oh man she was feeling down all of a sudden. She really needed to get out...

"Is uh...your house nearby? You said it was through here right?"

Luna realized a moment too late what she might've just said. "Ah sorry I didn't mean I'm in a hurry to leave you. I want to make sure you get home safe-Ah dangit. I'm an idiot. Sorry for making no sense there."

To relax, play games, and party? And those are fun? "I like parks," she said, smiling a little. When asked if her house was nearby, Belladonna nodded.

"Why do you apologize? You did nothing wrong. And yes, my home is near. It is this way." She began walking towards another exit and soon they were out on the streets again in the residential area. She had seen these houses before, and so she didn't seem to take interest in them on the same level as when she was at the down town district.

But it seemed as though she continued walking past all the homes, apartments and boarding houses available. No, she continued to walk until the houses thinned out. She stopped by a large gate that had no markings to identify who owned the property, and beyond that laid a mansion.

The gates opened by themselves to let her in. Belladonna looked back at Luna and asked, "Would you like to come in? My mother would like to meet you."

"Ah woops. I have a habit of apologizing a lot...sometimes. Darn it I'm making no sense."

Once they got to Bella's uh, MANSION, Luna gasped in surprise. She lived in a huge ass house with a big freaking gate in the more expensive part of the neighborhood...wow...

"U-uh okay s-sure I'd love to meet your mother. Uhm...s-she's nice right? S-she's not one of those kinds of stereotypical crazy ladies living in a huge mansion that drink their victim's blood right?"

Really Luna? You just HAD to freak out over this of all things? There are way worse things you've seen that are way scarier than huge mansions with a big gate in the front that ISN'T EVEN CREEPY IN THE SLIGHTEST. She thought to herself.

Was apologizing frequently a bad thing? One would think that would be the opposite as it was the primary way of telling someone that one didn't intend to cause harm or any negative connotations that might have been mistaken for. Curious, but Belladonna will remember that.

"Yes, she is nice. She does not drink blood as far as I can recall. And she is mentally stable as well, so there is no need to be frightened."

Without delaying any further, Belladonna walked down the gravel road and up to the door, which she opened with a key that she seemingly pulled out of nowhere, as if she had it in her hand all this time.

As the cool air from the inside greeted them, the first sight to greet them would be the lobby, a big open space with a crystal chandelier hanging from the 2nd floor ceiling. On the side walls of the first floor were two large doors, each leading to different types of rooms. Two large curved set of stairs lead to the second floor, but underneath where the stairs met was another double door.

Though unfortunately, Luna wouldn't get a tour yet as Belladonna walked straight to the door on the right, which lead to a parlor that had all its thick drapes closed. On one side of the room were book cases. House plants were by where the windows would be. In the center was a large, circular, glass coffee table which had a single cup of coffee, still steaming a little. There was a couch on the right of the table (from where the two girls were) and four cushioned chairs surround the rest of the table. On the one single chair that faced them was a woman.

"Mama, I'm home," she said softly and sweetly as she walked in. "I've brought a guest."

"I can see that, my dear," a woman with dark hair and emerald green eyes hidden behind glasses said. She seemed friendly, if not looking a bit exhausted. She had the look of a woman with either unending patience, or a spirit which had been broken enough that emotions seemed meaningless.

She looked rather young, perhaps in her mid-twenties. But the most curious thing about her aside from her attire that makes her look like she had just arrived from work as a secretary was her limbs. While her left leg was clearly just a regular, pale-skinned leg that went with her skin tone, her right, from the middle of the thigh down, was black metal. Prosthetics, clearly, but if they were color differently, the could be mistaken if one had just quickly glanced at them. The same could be seen in both her arms. Both were from the shoulder down. It could have even been mistaken as a pair of evening gloves.

As for what she was wearing, her top consisted of a white shirt under a dark purple dress shirt with thin vertical stripes, which was underneath a white lab coat that remained unbuttoned. As for her bottoms, she was wearing a black mini skirt.

She was sitting with her legs crossed, prosthetic over her natural leg. There was a book in her hand, which she closed as they came in, her thumb in between the pages.

Belladonna turned to Luna and gestured to the woman. "This is my mother, Sarah." She then turned to Sarah, who now had a subtle happy smile on her face, and gestured to Luna, "Mama, this is Luna. I met her tonight. She saved me from bad people."

Wow...This is so big! So...fancy and pretty! Luna thought to herself as she looked around. She noticed the amazing symmetry of the staircase placement, and the exquisite double door in the middle leading to who knew where. The two separate doors on either side complemented the scene. But to top it all off was the amazing chandelier on the 2nd floor ceiling. Daaaaamn was that thing awesome. It had beautiful crystals hanging from it, which she wouldn't be surprised if they were just full on diamonds.

"Woah..." she said quietly, overwhelmed by the size of the place. If this was just the front room or something, she can't even imagine how big the rest of the mansion could possibly be. She was so engrossed by the sights that she nearly walked into Bella, but she stopped herself before she did thank goodness.

Luna followed Bella into the side room on the right, pretending that she wasn't actually in awe of everything. Or trying to at least. She can't even imagine the look on her face she probably had either.
Speaking of looks...Crap...with that encounter earlier, I might've gotten myself dirty...My black boots and blue jeans might pass as clean but my WHITE shirt can't easily be-oh my lord this is embarrassing....

After seeing the woman in what looked like business or fancy clothes inside the room Luna just went in with Bella, she tried to straighten herself and fix any bad wrinkles in her clothing before she spoke. She really didn't want to make a bad impression.

"Uh yeah. Hi there, I'm uh, Luna, and I saved your uh, daughter from those uh thugs. I just wanted to help out seeing as I've uh, known too many people who were taken advantage of. I couldn't stand uh, by and let it happen again."

Shutupshutupshutup. You stuttered too much. TO MANY 'UH's!! Bad impression already. Shshshshhhhhhhhhhh. Luna sincerely hoped she didn't look obviously nervous or intimidated...She's an idiot sometimes.

Sarah was amused at the girl's nervousness. As if she was someone to be feared. It was not like she could blame her however. Stepping into a mansion can be a bit nerve-wracking at first. "There's no need to be nervous. Belladonna, please fetch some tea for your guest to help calm her down."

The android nodded happily and left through a door on the farther end of the room.

Turning back to Luna, Sarah waved her over. "Please, have a seat." It didn't matter which one she took, Sarah just wanted to talk to this young woman.

With a relieved sigh, Sarah's face relaxed a little bit more. "Thank you for saving my daughter. I don't know how I can repay you meaningfully for what you've done. Please, tell me about yourself."

Luna watched Bella leave before nervously sitting down in a chair near Sarah. She greeted Sarah with a small wave and smiled.

"It was uh, no trouble really. Those thugs were uh, being assholes and I wanted to show them what for. I'm tired of people like them. You don't need to repay me for anything." She sighed a bit.

"I don't...really have much to tell you about myself. I had a lot of stuff going on in the past, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to mention them here. It isn't good. But I guess I could say I'm uh, protective? Maybe? I like to help people in tough situations like what Bella was just dealing with. I don't normally go looking for trouble though. I see something happening, kick some butt, make sure the person's okay and/or help them get to where they need to go, and go on my way."

Luna fiddles around with her thumbs and looks away from Sarah. "...I don't really have many friends either." She stopped herself.

"A-ah, sorry. I talked a lot there."
