Private Finished Pretty Girl on the Bad Side of Town

"Very well, but I am still in your debt. Should you need anything, don't hesitate to approach either of us." Sarah wasn't the type to let someone who did good for her go without any form of compensation. She had always preferred to give incentives, and a favor was one of them.

From her own words, Sarah could say that Luna was one of those guardian type people, someone who would risk her life for the sake of others. So it was strange to hear that she didn't consider herself to have many friends.

"I am sure that Belladonna considers you one. And you may also consider me as a friend for what you've done for her. And as such, you are welcome to visit her any time you wish. She could use the practice of interacting with people."

"Belladonna is currently still a simple girl. I've told her never to bring anyone home unless she trusts them and considers them as someone she would like to be friends with. And she invited you inside, didn't she? And you seem to be a good girl, so I'm not against it."

Belladonna returned through same door she exited, bringing a tray with a cup on a saucer and a teapot that was still steaming, bringing a sweet aroma to the room. "Chamomile tea with honey," she said as she set it down on the table.

Picking the teapot up, she poured some in the cup and set it in front of Luna with a smile, and then proceeded to sit on the chair next to her.

Sarah meanwhile had taken a sip from her coffee and set the cup back on its saucer.

Sarah nodded understandingly. There was nothing else to add to that, and so she let their guest have a moment to enjoy her tea. Sarah wasn't great at conversations, so she wasn't sure how to go about it, leaving it to Belladonna to converse with her new friend.

However, she did take note of the girl's eyes glowing when she found out what the tea Belladonna had made for her. Sarah had expected this sort of thing from nearly anyone in the island, so she was wondering what that entailed. And emotional reaction perhaps.

"Are you crying?" the android asked innocently, concern on her face. She had seen that tear roll down Luna's cheek even though she was quick to wipe it away. Looking at her facial features, Luna didn't seem sad. Maybe happy? Was that what they called happy tears?

Sarah could hazard a guess and say Luna had a troubled life. She could understand that. But for one who would cry out of happiness from being treated like she was, Luna must have gone through a lot. Sarah was ready to show her some comfort, but to her surprise, Belladonna beat her to it.

The android stood up and wrapped her arms around Luna from the side, gently stroking her hair to comfort her. "It's okay to cry."

'She must have gotten that from the TV...' Sarah thought. She just hoped Luna wouldn't take it the wrong way.

"You're welcome," Bell said, smiling happily as she went back to her seat. Happiness. That was a nice emotion, and she felt it then. Possibly the first time she had felt happy outside of the bonding she had with her mother.

"It's all right, dear. But it is getting late and I don't like the idea of you going home alone, capable as you may be. Please, stay here for the night," Sarah offered as she drank the last of her coffee.

Belladonna's face lit up at the thought of having a friend over for the night.
