Aiva was looking for an empty, quiet place for her to practice her invisibility. She wasn't very good at it, and sometimes everything would disappear but her arms, or she could only disappear up to her waist. She really needed to get some practice in.
She walked from room to room, until she found what she was looking for. An old mirror covered in dust hung on the wall. She walked over to it. She began to wipe the dust of it, coughing and weezing as the dust particles flew up in the air. There was a large crack in the mirror, which distorted the reflection that stared back at her. "It'll have to do," she thought out loud.
She began to concentrate. She stared at her reflection until it began to fade. It didn't take long before she was completely vanished. It only lasted a few seconds though. When she reappeared she rubbed her hands together to create warmth. Whenever she managed to disappear, for some reason it always made her cold.
She tried it again. Staring at her reflection, she concentrated on becoming invisible. This time all but her feet disappeared. She reappeared and tried again. This time, all but her clothes disappeared.
"Ugggh!!!!" She screamed in frustration. She tried again, this time completely disappearing. While invisible, she walked around the room. She picked up an object, looking in the mirror at the reflection. It amused her how it appeared the object was just floating. She put it back down and went over to a chair off to the site. She picked up the chair to move it so she could be seated but still see herself in the mirror. As she was moving the chair, she glanced up to see if she was still invisible. The reflection showed that she was, but she was surprised to see no chair in the reflection. The chair had disappeared as well! Before she could figure anything else, she reappeared in the relfection along with the chair.
"I can make objects disappear as well!" She mused. She tried it again, but couldn't get anything to happen. She was shivering uncontrollably, and thought maybe she should give it a rest for a few minutes.
