A blue dragon seems to be trying to fly. It seems very clumsy and can hardly even lift of the ground. It murmurs " Sheesh! I can swim but I can't even fly!" AS it once again tries to make a nice flight.
Zyla watched the younger, much younger dragon as she tried to fly from far away. She smiled slightly as she watched her efforts, and shook her head, Deciding to help her, she spread her wings and soared off of the rocks she was on to the young blue dragon.
She sat down a few feet away, her tail swishing this way and that. "What are you doing?" she asked, even though she knew perfectly well what Saphira was trying to do.
Zyla nodded. "The name's Zyla. Now... flying... you might want to try to get a running start if you're just beginning," Zyla said, her tail still swishing here and there.
"ok, i'll try" said Saphira as she ran then lifted herself into the air. She hung there for a moment, then so surprised that se could at least lift herelf, she fell back down again.
"You need to use your wings." Zyla stood up, wondering if this was worth her time. "Do the same exact thing again, but this time use your wings when you're in the air."
"Thanks for the help" Saphira said. Then she got a bit of a running start, and stated flapping her wings. she styed up in the air for a few minutes, then came down "Can you teach me how to turn??"
Zyla sighed, and laid down again. "All you have to do is tilt to the side you want to fly in." She laid her head on the ground, and although she wanted to go to sleep, she kept her eyes open to watch Saphira.
Zyla smiled for the first time in a very long time. She stood up, stretched her wings. She began to walk away, heading toward a waterfal that ran into a lake near by. She wanted to swim, for she hadn't swam in a long time, and she was very thirsty.
