Mei was excited, she had met her parents, got registered and had resumed classes like she normally would. The only problem was that she hadn't yet to take magic class thingy. She wasn't sure exactly what the teacher would be like, would it be the same teacher she saw in the future? Things were really different from the way they were where she was actually from.

She sat down at the table and put her bag on the back of her chair. She didn't see anybody else in the room. She was pretty sure that it wasn't a one on one class. They would totally tell her if it was right? She nervously tugged at the end of her ponytail. The one her mom had taken car in putting in, eventually it got so loose she had to pull it out and put the scrunchie around her wrist. This was supposed to be fun, she was going to learn how to control ice with magic. It would be fun to show her mom what she could do.

Although her power came from both her parents, she was pretty sure that being half drow was gave her the magical ability. She just had to hone it so she could be as awesome as she claimed. Also she wanted to freeze people.

"Daddy? Mommy Can we go watch a movie after school?" a little girl's voice echoed in the hallway.

Then a set of laughter from both a man and a lady could be heard as the door opened. Octain had opened the door. Before going in he dropped to his knees in front of a little girl as an elf also knelt down.

"Of course we may go see a movie my Dear." the Elf said as she placed a hand on Octain's cheek and gave him a kiss on his mask.

"We will. That is a promise my child." he said openly as he stood up. "I will be holding a class right now. My dear would you mind attending that banquette for my after ensuring Lexi goes to class for once?" Octain said with a smile under his mask.

"As you wish my Magistar." The elf said. Almost lovingly as the sound of footsteps and goodbyes filled the air as Octain walked into his class.

Looking at the time he had time for a quick cup of tea as he sat in his desk and pulled out a thermos as well as a set of two tea cups. He looked up at the student. Pouring his cup of tea. noticing the girl seemed.. Young. So Octain decided not to ask if she wanted tea. Putting the other inside his desk for later as he moved his mask slightly. To him he could see his face inside of the tea's murky reflection. Where those in the class.. well the only in the class. Would only see a shadow. That is all. It was as if he had no face. A dark voided face that made no sense.

"Since we seem to be the only ones here.." His voice said softly. A little rough due to being so early in the morning. "Might I know your name?" He said. Taking off his red cloak, revealing a black dress vest with nothing under and black cargo shorts that went past his knees. he then looked over at the girl who sat in his classroom.

Seemed to be... A Drow? In his class?

He then leaned back in his chair with a smirk inside of the darkness.

Mei looked up towards the person who walked in class, he was kind of weird. She couldn't see his face so she figured he was one of those mysterious types. He asked her name and she complied "Meili Feng-so-kijak" She said tilting her head to the side. She just wanted to learn the ice thingy spell. So she could make her own ice castles and freeze people. Though she supposed that she should try and learn all she can.

She was really eager to learn, it would be incredibly hard and keep her mind off off getting back home to her own time. She was ready for whatever was supposed to happen.
