Playing With Fire

"Oh, hi Ian." Stephanie smiled. Wouldn't this guy be the perfect date to the dance....
Hoping she wasn't being a bit TOO hasty, she thought. But, well, he seems like a nice guy, Stephanie contemplated inside her head. "Hey err Ian, you wanna go to the dance with me? As a friend?? Well, I have no date, and I kind wanna go.." she smiled.

"Really? cool!I inheritad mine from my father....he was a well known blacksmith!" she said with a brod smile then turned back to Ian paying no attention to Steph,"So what's your power?" she said quietly lookig at his shyly.She suddenly saw Steph from the corner of her eyes,"Oh my!" she said leaping up,"Please i am terribly sorry for ignoring you!" she shook her hand,"I'm ember flame by the way.Please have a seat."

Ian was a little suprised by her suddenly asking him. "Okay." he said. He did want to get to know her a little better, but she was really pretty, in fact, it came to his attention that all three of them really were which he hand;t really thought about until now, but he shrugged, "yeah, I'll go with you." he said, "You said as a friend or as a date?" he said being just a little bit confused.

Ember then Suddenly glared at Steph to her wquestion gave a "Hump" and went off to the other side...Her hair flowing behind her. Her fists at her sides in flames.She mummbled to her self and climbed a tree. One red tear fell from her eyes.

"Well, both. :P " said Stephie. "Oh hi Ember!" she smiled at Ember and shook hands. "She sat down beside her," I heard you have the fire power. I heard someone in my family had it as well..my fathe's side....China, something like that." she grinned. "Hi Adelina!" said Stephie leaning over. Maybe she finally had friends. Being open had definetely payed off. She smiled. :wub:

Of coarse she stormed off so quiockly that she didn't here the rest of Steph's speech...

Stephanie frownde. What happened? she thought to herself. How did she hurt the girls feelings? "I'll be right back," she siad to the others, and ran after Ember.

She leaned against a tree branch and omly looked at the sky.She gave a heavy sigh.....She took her book from her pocket, opened it and began to read trying to forget.

Ian onyl watched as Steph ran after Ember. Ian was aware Addie already had a date which made him feel better that she too wasn;t going to do this. He turned to her, "That was really..umm..." he was at a loss for words so just shrugged and looked back in the direction the other two had gone.
