Eliana beamed at him, all evidence of her earlier frustration but a whisper of the past. She shook his hand for a good five or six seconds before releasing it.

"Hey, man, no problem. You know, I'm actually pretty used to it. Besides, I was being somewhat stand-offish. There was a little blame for everyone."

He smiled again and looked down into the fountain and looked at all of coins thrown in. " So, what did you wish for then? " He reached his hand down into the water and took out the coin he threw in from earlier.

He really never understood wishing wells and fountains. Just seemed like a scam to him.

Truthfully, Eliana had wished for nothing, because she could never think of something worth wishing for.

At his question, she tried to imagine what she might have wished for, had she not been interrupted in the first place.

"I wished that I understood how wishes worked and why people made them," she said. With Eliana, it was hard to tell if this was the truth or merely a joke, she probably didn't know herself.

"You know, I'm pretty sure if you take the coin out the wish doesn't come true," she said pointedly when he removed one of the coins.

" Well, if you need to have a fountain grant you your wish then how god damn desperate are you? I just threw the damn coin in there for the sake of throwing it in, just like everyone else. " He flipped the coin with his thumb and it flew up into the air.

" People wish for things they don't have because they want it and wither or not their wishes come true falls to themselves no higher power needed. " He caught the coin and chuckled. " Well look at that, your wish was granted. " He smiled a bit and shrugged. " ...Or at least that's my reason that I've come to believe. "

"Has anyone ever told you that you're an odd little boy?" she asked as she gave him a once over. She didn't make it sound like a bad thing, if anything, Eliana was praising him.

"And so is that what you do? Take what you want when you want it?"

Allen was a little bit surprised. " Take what I want when I want? That is ridiculous. I've never said that. I meant that you just need to put some effort into getting what you wish for. " He was not a thief in his eyes. He liked the thought of being a sneaky thief in the dark. But if he was going to steal something that would in turn hurt people around him that didn't deserve it he would back out. He wouldn't dare do that.

" I try not to take anything that will in turn, hurt another person...if they are my friends or some random person. You can get what you want multiple ways, some of which benefits everybody. Like buying the thing or just asking for it. Though.... "

He flashed a devilish grin. " I wouldn't be against taking something from someone who deserves it....if I'm being honest "

It seemed odd to Eliana that he was surprised by her comment. Her first thought was simply: take what you want when you want.

Maybe it was a demon thing, or maybe she was just a bad person. Maybe both?

"And what would determine if someone deserved to be stolen from?" she asked him, still amused. This had turned out to be a much more interesting conversation than she originally thought possible.

Allen thought for a moment. " Well, it really depends on the situation of that person and mine. Morality is subjective you see. There is truly no ultimate 'Good' and there is no ultimate 'Evil'. At least for humans, I don't know about demons and angels. It's much more complicated than that in many respects. You might say that he did something completely terrible, but in turned saved others or was in a bad situation. I may take my judgement and say, he had done that and I don't have much and justify my action. But in reality it wouldn't matter. Hell, depending on how much I steal nobody is going to give a damn. There is a lot of factors into it. "

Allen was done with his long speech about long speech about morality with a look of passion in his eyes until he finished. " It really depends. I'd probably just bullshit it through some justification. " He shrugged. " Just like everyone else. " Allen had put way too much hours thinking about morality and the meaning of life in the short amount of time he's been alive. Which was rare for someone of his age, hell it was rare of any age.

"What a very passionate speech, but you don't need to inform me of the intricates on morality." She motioned to herself. "I'm one of those walking examples of people believing I'm evil."

She grinned roguishly, "kind of refreshing to see someone with your thought process, though. Not gonna lie."

Allen's tail was moving back and forth slowly. " I'm a person based on numbers and my own mortality.... " He grinned a bit. " Though I'd probably have a different outlook if I was immortal like you. "

His ears drooped down a bit and his tail stopped moving. " Also, sorry for the speech....It was probably annoying. It's just that I never get to talk about topics like that ever. "
