Ah, the forest. It was normally quiet for midday, surely the usual array of kids and adults were either working or being educated. The midday sun sat high in the sky surrounded by a few wispy clouds, the deep blue of the sky backgrounded against the burning sun. The grass and paths of the forest crunched and swept beneath Cade's feet, it was this peace and quiet that he welcomed gratefully. His newfound solitude was this forest on the outer edges of the Academy where his black wings would take him, but today he decided a walk would have been better to clear his head.
The gravel crunched under his black boots as he walked the many criss crossing paths that darted in many directions across the area. His hair was in it's usual long, straight way. His hazel eyes were hidden behind a pair of silver framed sunglasses that mirrored the surroundings. He regretted wearing his usual dark tops and dark jeans in the glare of the sun but the heat felt nice on his bare arms. The corded muscle casting shadows upon his sides.
Peace and solitude were a rare thing for one such as Cade. He sought it, fought for it and felt it but he rarely felt it's peaceful eternity. He enjoyed the company of significant others and there did come such a time that he wished he had some one he could talk to in a place like that but this was not one of those times unfortunatekly. Lapping the forest for the third time without realizing it, he walked with his head staring down at the ground, his memories casting back to his parents, and the time he was sent here to the Academy out of his own will. However, with some new friends and a new mate, it seemed to be gradually paying off.
