Vinnie's mouth puckered as Anna flung herself into Sage. After helping the little girl and Sage up, she nodded a few times at Anna. "I am having a Fae party, yes!" Vinanye decided now wasn't the right time to correct the use of fairy.

"I have seen a tooth fairy yes!" And they weren't as cute as books would have children believe. Vinnie didn't recall them being cute at all, as a matter of fact. "But they did not dress like a princess and no I cannot fly, but I knew some Fae at home who could. Mermaids are not Fae, but they could likely be considered as such if they cared to. They cannot freely enter Under the Hill, however."

Sage giggled as Anna slammed in to him. Normally, he'd have caught her easily, but she'd taken him by surprise! He fell back on his rear but didn't much mind, and was laughing as he took the offered hands. "Hey, Anna. Welcome to the party~" he said. "Like Vinnie said, a lot of fae can't fly. I, however, can! Want to see my wings?"

Alston flew in on his fairy wings, his blue hair blowing back, he was shrunken to two inches, his left wing was badly scarred from the Fae hunters iron weapon, the wound was over a year old, but it still hurt from time to time.

He landed on the back of a chair, his eyes glowing gold as his powers were still active. He looked over at the people. Rising he zipped to a girl, "hello, I'm Alston Oberon."

Vin's mouth puckered at Alston's last name. "Hello Alston Oberon, I am Vinanye Reed. Um, I wonder at your last name? It is the name of a popular King among one of the Fae courts!"

Alston smiled as he hovered in front of her, of course she would have recognized his last name, "well Oberon is my grandfather." He backed up and bit and grew to his full size landing on his feet, he kept his wings out, "I kind of....took his name as my family name," it had been odd but he was young and mostly ignorant to Fae.

He brought his left wing around and rubbed the sore scar, "I'm only half Fae, so all I know of them is the stories, my dad didn't talk about them much." He smiled at her, "your the first Fae I've met besides him...," he flipped his wing back behind, "I want to go to Under the Hill."

Forgetting his question for a moment, Sage noticed Alston. My, he was tiny! Sage had never seen anyone so small, but perhaps that was due to his newness on the island. If he had any less tact, he'd ask, but luckily Sage knew how to be polite. However, his eyes widened as he heard the word "king". He was immediately intrigued. Fae had kings? He had a lot to learn. Sage stayed quiet as he let the two educated fae speak.

Vinnie rubbed her chin, thoughtful. "I would not suggest Underhill to the half-Fae. Many Fae do not like them. I am surprised you are a Fairy. Oberon was an elf, but I did not know much about his son or his grandson. All I knew was that his grandson and he were not on good speaking terms." She ran a hand through her hair. She smiled a little at him. "Why did you take his name as your family name?"

Sage was honestly intrigued by all he was hearing, but it didn't all make sense. He didn't want to intrude, but he was extremely curious. "Mm... Vinnie, Alston? I don't want to barge in or anything, but... What are you talking about? It seems really interesting," Sage said, a sheepish expression on his face.

Alston cocked his head at Vinnie, "why? Do they like half Fae." He blinked a bit in confusion, surely Oberon wouldn't turn away his grandson, "Oberon....is the only family I have left," he flinched slightly remembering what happened to his family.

He shrugged at the mention of him being a Fairy, "maybe I'm an oddball, I don't know much about my heritage besides Oberon." He chuckled when she asked why he took Oberon as his family name, "well humans tend to have last name connected to their ancestors, so I took Oberon as my family name."

He turned to Sage as the white haired boy spoke, "it's a long story, but one of the Fae king is my grandfather."

Sage nodded, well, sagely. "It's understandable not to know much about your heritage. Hell, I didn't even know that unicorns and fae were real until around a year ago, let alone that I'm a hybrid of the two," Sage said, chuckling. "I've got all day if you'd like to tell the story, but if not, that's also understandable."
