Private Painful Shifts And New Friends

"I....why are you so nice?" he'd ask his voice sounding a bit less grumpy than usual.

He'd shake his head. "I'm a mutt because....," he'd pause, "I'm a mutt because I wasn't born a werewolf." Him being turned was an accident, they had intended to kill him.

The werewolf would fidget a bit, his stomach growling. He'd been struggling to properly hunt since his arrival.

"Hmmm.....," he'd glance at the woods with a sigh. "Not....not supposed to eat if I don't earn it," he was very hungry though.

He'd look back to her a moment before slowly nodding. "I-ok, let's.....we can go get food," he felt awkward and uneasy, but she didn't seem like a threat, or at the very least she probably couldn't hurt him.

"The school cafeteria right?" he'd ask, "some of the kinds....kinda stare."

"The other students," he'd say as he followed her, his fingers going up and brushing over his scars. "They....sometimes stare," his rather intense eyes and such also probably didn't help.

He'd shrug. "Usually eat alone," he was confused about this girl, people here were strangely nice and it confused him.
