Momo nods slowly as she listen to the boy. Somehow, she wasn't very surprised.

Instead of asking questions or just giving him a look, she flips open the lids of her basket and, setting Valiant on her should fishes out a peach. "Want one?" she asks innocent, the highlights in her hair turning from blue to a peachy color.

Rigel looked up, a relieved smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, I'd love one," he said. He made his way closer slowly to give Momo a chance to move back or tell him to stop if she wanted to. He didn't want to upset her now when he just got her to calmed down about him.

Rigel faltered when he was almost there, stopping a few feet away. His silver eyes turned golden and his relaxed posture stiffened and straightened. "I would like to... apologize for my words earlier" Baltazar said in a deeper and more regal version of Rigel's voice. He opened his mouth to say more but was stopped when Lapis whacked him on the back of his head with her wing. She chirped angrily at him, telling him to give Rigel back control. Baltazar grunted and did as he was told. His eyes slid shut and he sank to the ground a little before he straightened out, his eyes opening to reveal silver eyes showing that Rigel was in control.

Rigel groaned and banged his head on the trunk of a nearby tree, "Why can't he leave me alone?" he ground out.

AS the golden figure appears, Momo screeches and tosses a peach, missing. She's a bit thankful it missed, because when her friend magically 'poofed' back into his body, he was smacking his head against a tree. She figured smushed peach and bruised forehead wasn't a good look for him.

She steps up to him and meekly pokes him, with Valiant in one hand and her basket in the other. "Hey, uh, you know, we should get back to the academy. It might rain soon." she glances up to the darkish clouds gathering over the ocean in the distance.

"I don't like storms, and neither will Valiant. C'mon."

Rigel looked up at the sky and nodded. He whistled sharply and Lapis swooped down from where she had been flying high above the tree tops. She landed on his outstretched arm before moving to his shoulder.

"Okay, let's go." He motioned for Momo to take the lead before he followed.

Momo grins and skips along, seeming to have head a complete mood change. She make sure not to jiggle Valiant around too much, and even starts to hum a bit. "His cap pulled down 'round hisss.. ears.. to hie the smile and watery tears.." she sings quietly before returning to the humming.

Boy, what a lovely day it had been.

Valiant purred, amused with how Momo was acting.

Rigel followed along behind her. Lapis took off from his shoulder, but was gently grabbed out of the air before she could get too far. He placed her back on his shoulder with a gentle stroke to her head. "Not now Lapis. If the storm starts up I don't want you in the air and a target for lightning," he told her softly. Lapis chirped a reluctant agreement and settled down against his neck.

As they near the academy, Momo slows to a walk and turns her head to glance at the thunderclouds. She quickens her pace. "Rain, rain, go away, come again another day." she hums, mouthing the words. her hand sneaks over to scratch Valiant's head. "You're a gewd kitty, awen't choo?!" she grins.

Thorn purred, despite the mental snickers coming from Lapis and Rigel.

Rigel, hearing what she was humming, looked at the clouds with a calculating expression. "You know," he said, "I might be able to hold off those storm clouds for a while, if you don't mind the blood. Or if you want I could go do it in the woods."

Momo shakes her head. "No more creepy blood stuff, yo." Momo looks up to the clouds, and, seeing the Academy looming ever closer, besides to make a dash for it. She breaks into a run. "Must.. not.. get hair.. wet." she mumbles.

A few drops fall to the ground!

Rigel hurried after her. As rain drops started falling, he lifted Lapis off of his shoulder and threw her into the air so she could fly. Telling her to stay low to the ground, he pumped his wings and took off into the air. He flew above Momo, blocking the rain from hitting her.
