Dean sighed and took a seat on a nearby rock. He never figured it would be so hard to climb the mountain. Or maybe he did. He could have easily flown up to the top or easily teleported, but he found it a little boring.

He laid back on the rock and closed his eyes, folding his arms behind his head. The air was brisk, but he didn't really mind the cold, it was actually kind of soothing. Before he knew it he was dozing off...

Fia wearing her usual man-like attire was training, she had her new swords by her side in their sayas. She smirked, she wanted to be able to use them without feeling she was lacking power enough to weild them. Her new swords were amazing, she never guessed Ava could have make such amazing swords. She took her old broken swords in her hands getting ready to attempt cutting through rock with them. She knew Ava's swords wouldn't brake but she didn't want to attempt it unless she was sure she was strong enough. She made a fast motion and her swords shattered into tons of pieces. The rock merely had a crack in it. She make a cussing sound, she never swore she only made sounds to signify her anger.

She didn't want to rely on Ava's sword even if it was amazing, she wanted to use the sword as a sword yet be able to increase it's power without relying on it. She sighed it was getting no where fast.

Dean's eyes shot open. He had fallen asleep? looking out at the sky, he saw that it was almost evening, meaning he'd dozed off for a mere hour or so. Out of instinct, he quickly checked his pockets to see if anyone had stolen anything while he was napping. Thankfully, no; not that there was anything really to steal except for his daggers that still laid hooked on a belt around his waist.

He was still confused: why had he woken up? He looked around and spotted he reason. There was a girl with a pair of old looking swords looking at a rock with a crack in it. She had most likely struck the rock with it and only cause it to crack instead of break. It remained quiet, and just sat on teh rock, leaning back on his elbows, watching the girl.

She sighed giving into the want to use her new swords. She drew them out of the sayas and couldn't help but smirk at their beauty. She liked how they fit in her hand, the two katanas were perfect for her. She sighed trying to figure out how to train with the special swords, she moved to another rock afraid to brake the blades. She sighed deciding that she could always ask Ava to repair them if they chiped or anything. She took a battle stance closing her eyes to concentrate she then jumped in the air with a quick slash at the rock. Then landing she opened her eyes.

At first it seemed like nothing happened. She sighed starting to walk away when suddenly the rock broke apart and each side fell to it's own.

Dean watched the girl, interested in what she was doing. She had pulled out another pair of swords, these much more nicer and better looking than her previous and swung at a different rock to see what would happen. A small smile grew on his face when he saw that she successfully sliced the rock in half. "Impressive." He said to the girl, not moving from his spot.

Fia simply gave him a nod of acknowledgement, she wasn't one to talk much. Neither was she one to brag, she only talked to certain types of people. She didn't know this boy's type yet nor did she know if he was a goodie goodie. She felt a bit out of place, she tugged her bandanna lowering it more so it would cast a bigger shadow over her eyes. She always did this when she felt uncomfortable, she had little habits that most people wouldn't associate with nerves or because she put her fear in her back pocket.

She missed the pirates, the scum bag people who'd annoy her, the old routine of going to a nearby Island and coming back ten times richer. Now she was stuck on land, she hated it, people here were different. No one was merry and friendly and sly as a fox, hardly anyone did sword fighting on land anymore. She missed the sea most of all, she hated the fact that the "government" had to kill off the pirates. In her eyes the only thing the government was doing was killing innocent good people who only fought other bad people.

The gave Dean simple nod. Nothing else? Not even a thank you for your compliment? Still, her silence intrigued him in some way, that made him persistent. He sat up and pulled himself of of the rock, which surprisingly was quite hard for him. The rock had gotten quite comfy. After getting up, he walked over to the girl and leaned against a rock wall closer to her. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and gave her a smile. "I'm Dean."

She smirked, "Not interested, nor do I even want to know how you figured I'm a girl. But I don't want to date, I don't want friends and I don't want to fight you if you don't treat me like a man and I'm Fia." She said not shaking his hand or being friendly in the least way. She was a swordsman and nothing would get in her way of being a swordsman, she wanted to be able to make her pirate captain proud that she was a good swordsman and in her mind that required complete devotion to swords.

Dean cocked his left eyebrow. Boy did he - or now as she pointed out - she jump to conclusions. "Okay, I didn't know you were a girl, I was just bored, you were there and I decided to say hello. i don't want to date you because I just met you, I have no reason to fight you and if I did, why would I fight you any different than I would a man? And I'm sorry for being the slightest bit nice to you and interrupting your 'alone' time. It's nice to meet you Fia." he said, that last part, with sarcasm clearly noted. He scoffed, rolled his eyes and headed back to where he was, laying back down on his rock.

She muttered something under her breath, she had too many guys think lesser of a woman even if she could fight well. She decided to lay down the foundation before he said or did anything. How was she to know he wasn't trying to make a move or something. She didn't apoligize or try to befriend him, she wasn't here to make friends she was here to train. If the man didn't want to fight then she found it quite useless to talk to him when she was in training mode.

She wasn't trying to be mean but she had priorities and men and friends weren't on the list seeing she had none. She wanted it to remain that way unless someone was honestly different.
