A faint breeze coming from the ocean ruffled the delicate feathers on the outer edge of his wings, and he suddenly thought that it had really been a long time since he had last stretched them. He didn't have much time for flying right now, with both attending and holding classes, making pendants, visiting the old teachers at their homes, giving them reports... It eat way too much of his time.

He liked being a teacher. He did. It was what he had always wanted to do. But lately, he was starting to miss his freedom. And a thought emerged in the back of his mind again, something that had refused to leave him for days now. A thought of leaving Starlight.

Not now. he said, shaking his head, and taking another step forward. He was standing at the edge of the roof now. Yet another thing he hadn't done in a while now. Well, it was time to change that now.

He jumped, having tucked his wings in before doing so, letting himself fall for the longest time, before opening them right before hitting the ground and flying up, up, up...

Come to think of it...he hadn't done this ever since he had met William. The thought made him freeze in the air.

<div align=center>Had William fallen asleep? Yes. Yes he had. Did he remember falling asleep? Absolutely not. He didn't even know where he was for the first five minutes of being awake, ah, now he remembered. At least his headache was gone, that was why he'd come up here in the first place. He hadn't expected to find company up here, however. He'd rather wanted to stay alone until he felt like going back inside to find Gabe again. He'd been good to Bill recently, and he was grateful for that. It took him a moment to realize who it was. For crying out loud. William wasn't exactly hostile toward Micheal, but he didn't much feel like talking to anyone right now.

The boy let out a sigh of relief when the man jumped, at one point perhaps he would have felt jealous of those wings. But the thought of flying made him feel queasy, even standing on solid ground. He tried to shake the thought from his head, and turned around to make a break for it, if he got away fast enough perhaps he would be able to avoid talking to Micheal altogether. He just didn't really want to, he just wanted to go back to bed.</div>

Michael didn't expect to see William there. Of all the places in school, roof was the last one where he would imagine anyone, let alone the boy, going at this time. Thus, when he caught the silhouette of him while rising up in the air, it made him stutter, considering that he was already frozen in mid air because of previous thought, and do something that he hasn't done in ages: lose control of his flight.

The wind suddenly blew harder, pulling him strongly to the left, and he found himself crashing against the nearby tower, before falling back down to the roof.

Auch. That hurt.
