Evan was cracking up. No two ways about it. He found the whole thing hysterical, but he reached up, wiping the tear from his eye as he did.

"Careful now, I'll steal her away and end up with cool powers... and Jugemu on my back for the rest of my life for like, adopting a child."

"No! Don't say anything more, Genie, please..." Liliana said as she looked at Cori wanly, she could see the thunderous look on the young woman's face. And as funny as Evan thought the situation was, the young regalia was not overly pleased with Genie's words.

"Come on, Genie. Let's go, you can show me that stopping technique, you know the slidey one," Liliana told her younger partner as she turned her around towards the ice, gently nudging her forward while mouthing an "I'm very sorry" to Cori and Evan with a very apologetic look on her face.

"Bye Cori, you too mister!" Genie called out over her shoulder, undaunted by Liliana's attempts to distract her and wanting to say goodbye.

With that, Liliana gently pushed Genie onto the ice, following carefully behind her, hoping all the while they hadn't embarrassed Cori and Evan too much.

Cori let out an exasperated sigh as she waved to Genie, saying her goodbyes as the two skated away.

"You enjoyed that too much," she said pointedly, shooting Evan a dirty look.

"I think it's hilarious," he agreed, making no attempt to hide that he thought it was anything other than absolutely hysterical. "It's like one of those made for TV movies. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, ignore the fact that the guy is twice her age and has almost nothing in common with her."

"At least you're self aware," Cori said, peeling off her own skates as she stepped off the ice. She'd already been there for the better part of an hour, and her legs were starting to get tired anyway.

"Done for the day?" She asked, and Evan gave a quick nod. No point in sticking around, and Evan headed off, giving only a quick glance over his shoulder.
