Alex hadn't cleaned her side of the dorm room in two days. She wasn't sure if she was concentrating enough while studying for her exams because the stack of books was skewed to the right like a set of stairs, and a small pile of random items was forming in the space underneath her desk. So after her last class, she dashed to her room and started cleaning the hell out of her desk. So far she had retrieved half a binder of notes, someone's multicolored pen and a potted sapling. (How did that get there?)
She was still half-stuck under her desk when she found an old rectangular box. Inside it was an old set of Cards Against Humanity. A friend of hers gave it to her brother a few years back; how did it get into her luggage? She set the box aside and hurriedly set everything in order.
Once the books were properly stacked and all notes placed into their specific clearbooks, Alaknanda sat down and looked over the cards. The entire thing was a but dusty, but every card was still readable. She chuckled at each of her favorite white cards, which included 'Mecha Hitler' and 'By taking a potato chip... AND EATING IT.' She closed the box and went down to the lounge area.
From the upper half of the stairs, she could see people sitting in twos and threes, either watching TV, chatting, or working on homework. She decided that homework could wait a few hours.
"Hey!" Alaknanda called. "Cards Against Humanity, anyone?"
[note: I encourage everyone to use their powers and cheat the hell out of the game.]
