Kayla watched the newcomer walk up with interest. Finally, something interesting. And likely gonna kill you! A voice screamed, but she blocked it. "Ickle kids? What exactly is that supposed to mean?"

The dark haired woman smirked and let a laugh escape.

"I mean that you both are small kids compared to me."

She Took the cigarette from her lips and crushed it between her fingers, leaving slight burn marks on them, which healed in a matter of seconds. She threw it away without a glance.

"I should stop doing that." she muttered to herself.

"Stop doing what?" Kayla asked her. She was now bored. She had had hopes that thenewcomer would be interesting. But no, Adelina had been right to not expect much. She sighed. "So, is there anything interesting here by any chance?"

"Well, smoking, what else?" She replied with an hint of amusement in her black eyes.

She looked at her nails, smirking slightly again.

"It depends on what you want to find, it is unlikely that you will find much goody two shoes people here."

"I myself am a vampire. And not the only one."

She wondered what the reaction would be to her statement of her kind. She was a supposed dark creature wasn't she?

"I can count the vampires around the dozens and don't start me on the werewolves and mutated creatures this forest holds. Take Nightmare for an example, he's a vampiric horse."

"I mean that you both are small kids compared to me."

The young woman rolled her eyes. "Whatever," she mumbled. She could care less about that, really. She watched as the female took the cigarette and burned her fingers, and didn't really care that her fingers just healed right up. This was a school for people who had abilities like that, after all, and this healing thing didn't shock her much or anything.

She listened to Kayla's and the other female's conversation, not saying anything. She nodded, though, when Kayla mentioned finding something interesting. She fought the urge to roll her eyes as finding 'goody two shoes' people; that was obvious — to her, anyway. This place was forbidden, after all.

"I myself am a vampire. And not the only one."

At this, Adelina's eyes widened a bit, not in fear, but instead wonder. This was the first vampire she had ever met, and had, up until now, thought of them as make believe. This was a shock, and for some reason, she wasn't afraid of someone that had to drink another's blood to live. "Vampire, hm? What's it like?" she asked, just out of curiosity.

An eyebrow raised a bit. A vampiric horse? she thought to herself. That's a bit... odd. But, then again, what do I know about this stuff? She sighed inwardly, and went silent.

"Nightmare, if I know him? Well yes, he's mine." she replied to the girl's inquiery. "I wonder where he is, its been a while since I saw him last."

"Vampire, hm? What's it like?" the second girl asked in a wonder filled tone.

The woman wondered if she should burst the girl's, Addie's, bubble. It could allways be funny.

"Its like allways fighting to stay alive. Drinking blood from unwilling victims, fighting them to even get an once of blood." she said shrugging. "there is the fact that i will never age or die from decease. But I saw every family member die before I even arrived to my first century of vampire life."

"Then there is the instincts..." she said with a small growl in her voice.

Adelina nodded as she spoke. It sounded kind of sad, but it didn't really have an effect on her wonder or upset her in any way. Family members died, whether another family member be mortal or immortal, she knew this for a fact. She supposed one just had to get used to it, and merely shrugged her shoulders when Rayana mentioned drinking blood. "Well, I'm guessing you're over a century old, and I'm going to hope that you've gotten the hang of blood drinking by now," she said in an emotionless tone of voice. It was more to herself than to the others, but it was loud enough for them both to here.

"Then there is the instincts..."

An eyebrow raised somewhat when instincts was mentioned, and by the growl in her voice. "And what instincts are these, might I ask?"

The vampire snorted in amusement...

"Well over a century indeed." More like well over a dozen of centuries. She then thought.

"Blood drinking is something you have a hard time getting used to..." she then said. "Especially in the beginning."

But indeed, she had managed and liked it far more than what was necessary.

"The instincts that i talk about is what those born into vampire often bare. I do, and often curse them." she said starting to explain. "Its the desire to kill, maim, mangled and otherwise anhiliate another form of life, call it sadism, call it whatever you want, it is a bestiality few can understand. It is why often you will see vampires of the old breed fighting for dominance, just because they crossed paths."

(That is only my view of vampires...)
