Nighte had left Evol's home; with his blessing to explore the darkness of the sun's rest. Her small form was dressed — very much like a porcelain doll. Evol had given her the outfit to don, and she had not the chance to change. He had not fed her — stating that she had acted out and would have to find her own food.

And so, Nighte's steps carried her to one of the nightclubs she often frequented when Evol was being rather harsh to her. She flashed the bouncer at the door a wide smile — as she had no proper identification; Evol had not yet allowed her to get an ID, or learn to drive. Her nose scrunched as she slipped by the bouncer and into the club, giggling softly at a man who paid her attention.

Oh yes, she was well-known. Nighte twirled, grinning toward the man, claiming the small pill from him. She's slipped the pill beneath her tongue and was on her way before the man could look twice. She disappeared into the grinding bodies, until she gradually came upon a group — who were all so-familiar, though not in their persons, but rather by the activity at hand.

Needles lay on the table — lines of dust littered the table as well. Nighte simply stepped up between two people — who were busy with a pair of needles, and leaned down to snort a line; her lips parting in a rather... euphoric grin as she left the table behind her, reentering the crowded sea of bodies.

Her head tilted to one side, just slightly, as she tossed one foot in front of the other. She appeared to be... almost lost. Evol never checked his feeders for drugs — and those who were heavy users, often had gotten Nighte high (as Nighte was fed their blood as well as their meat). The cannibalistic female had soon grown attached to the feeling of euphoria, and had to depend on Evol up until the point the man had allowed her to 'hunt' on her own.

Soon enough she had slipped another pill from another stranger under her tongue — though this one turned out to be a sedative — perhaps it was something more; Nighte could not figure out why her mind went from fairly clear and active to sluggish and... well, sedated. She stumbled from the crowd, only to slam against the nearest wall, spilling the alcoholic beverage she had snagged from someone in the crowd, all over her dress.

Her eyes fluttered — she fought to stay awake; to stay conscious. She was inwardly cursing herself. She had allowed herself to be one of those girls. Evol would not be pleased if she was harmed, especially if she was harmed because she was being an idiot. Soon she had began to slide down the wall and to the floor, groaning softly to herself as she tried to continue walking — only to get nowhere but the floor beneath her feet.

Kihaku wasn't a drug user, but he was at this club anyway. He thankfully figured out how to obtain an ID and thus made it clear that he was well over eighteen. That wouldn't have been a shocker anyway based on the man's suave looks. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail as usual. His black sclera eyes scanned the crowd with a bored look. He was the sober person among a wave of drunkards. He already had a few drinks, but he was far from wasted. In fact, he could barely feel the buzz. His dress shirt and nice pants would be far too formal for this club if it wasn't for the spiked leather jacket worn over the shirt.

Whenever he spotted a beautiful lady with a man more bold than him, a slight bitter taste leaked into his mouth. He was reminded of those times long ago where he failed to obtain his bride. Nevertheless, he moved forward. Those times mattered not. That occurred many centuries ago. Now he was lost in modern times and still trying to adapt. At least his clothes fit with the decade, though he did have a kind of edge look to him. He wasn't a slouch in the combat department though as fools would soon learn.

His eyes focused on the young lady with long black hair. Her pale skin lightly glimmered in the dim lighting. She staggered through the crowd with a drink in her hand. He contemplated if she was drunk yet or if she was just trying to get through the crowd. Kiki was about to shift his attention away when he noticed her slip a pill inside her mouth and then go tumbling to the ground seconds later. That was not a good sign. He shot out of his seat and rushed over. The jerk that gave her the sedative was closing in on her.

His red irises glared as he put his arm up to block him. Of course this only made the asshole laugh. It was this action though that revealed Kihaku was armed. A katana sat within its sheath. As the challenger foolishly charged in, the samurai swung upward with the sheathed sword and knocked him back. He then proceeded to beat him with the sheath. He used quick and precise swings in order to incapacitate him. There was a mild panic within the crowd. Things got rowdier as more folks, drugged or not, noticed the fight that ensued nearby the table. The sedatives guy slammed into the table, and the needles spilled all over the floor.

This caused some party goers to get pissed off at the samurai, but he simply batted away the angry clubbers and moved over to Nighte's side. He noticed a stain on the maiden's dress. The scent informed him that it was alcohol.. Likely the alcoholic beverage she was carrying earlier. The sword latched back onto his belt. He moved his arms and attempted to lift her up. He was planning to bridal carry her out of the club and to safety. His apartment was a ways away, so perhaps the weapons shop would do. He doubted that his boss would mind, but if anyone followed him, then he would have to kill the pursuers.

Of course, he wasn't sure if she was fully unconscious yet or not, but he didn't care either way. Leaving her here would certainly spell trouble for her. This was the Underground after all; even if the original scumbag couldn't have his way, another scumbag certainly would.

When her hero came to her rescue, she was not conscious of anything around her... Nighte had not fully lost consciousness but her senses were not intact. She slumped against the man as she tried to mumble something, though her words were far too incoherent and soon after she had slipped into a complete and full unconscious state.

She appeared to be sleeping, as the man scooped her up bridal style. She curled instinctively against his abdomen; as she would if this man were her master.

She often had bad trips after eating or drinking from a drug addict and it was those instances where Evol always told her that she needed him... And that was why she had yet to flee the vampire lord.

She moaned quietly as she shivered, despite the night being rather warm for a February night. The little doll was soon silent and still; the only appearance of life was the slight rise and fall of her chest. Where she had come to rest against her saviors chest, she drooled against his shirt. She was quite out of it, and would remember nothing upon waking.

Kihaku picked up the mumbling but didn't understand a word of what she said. She was definitely out of it. The man held her close as he bolted out of the club. He had to get out of there. She needed a place to rest. His ponytail trailed behind him as he breezed through the crowd and past the bouncer. The bouncer was too distracted with the other chaos to notice him. Even if he did, the demonic samurai was long gone. He chose to head to Damascus Arms Inc. and go into one of the rooms in the back. He knew upstairs was Donny's living space, and he didn't want to disturb his boss or his boss' daughter.

He stealthily entered the place and carried the young woman to a back room. This room was a room for limb augments. This would be where someone would sit within a recliner and have their mechanical arm worked on or something. He chose this place because it had somewhere the maiden could rest. He gently placed her in the chair and tilted her head to the side so that she wouldn't choke if she vomited in her sleep. The front of his jacket was covered in drool, but he could care less. He took off the jacket and put it to the side as he contemplated what to do next. He didn't know where she lived. He also didn't know how to work a cell phone still.

Damn, should he bother his boss? He didn't really want to do that...he remained in the room with her. Then a thought occurred to him to check her pulse. He walked back over to her and placed two fingers on her neck. The demon gently felt for the point on the neck that would allow him to feel her pulse through the veins. This girl was a looker, but she did seem a bit...young somehow. Hopefully she was actually over eighteen, or that would make her club escapade even more dangerous of a move. She certainly seemed to be breathing, but she shivered. He used his leather jacket as a blanket for her. What did he get himself into tonight?

As she was laid down, she rolled slightly and mumbled something. The jacket placed over her provided her with the warmth she so desired and she seemed to calm considerably.

After half an hour she began to stir, sluggish in her waking. Eventually she had managed to fully open her eyes. The dark hues were locked upon the man in the room with her.

Without a word she began to move; attempting to get out of the recliner and onto her feet, mumbling something about her master as she moved. He wouldn't be happy with her.

Her vision began to swim as she swayed in place, a soft whimper left her lips as she attempted to take a step from the recliner. She was still out of it, though awake.

"Where... Where am... Am I?" She whispered, as her gaze settled upon strange mechanics. Evol never let her have much to do with the modern day... Outside of the exploring she did on her own, that was.

Kihaku stayed in the room with her the whole time. He leaned against the cabinet and crossed his arms. He spent the half hour in silent contemplation. His thoughts were focused on the girl he saved. He pondered who she was, what was she doing taking drugs from random people, did she have anyone with her, and other questions along those lines. It thankfully didn't take much effort to dispatch the one behind the drugging, but it certainly ended his clubbing short. He didn't mind though; he wasn't really enjoying himself anyway. It was hard to when he felt like he was surrounded by idiots.

His eyes snapped open as he heard a soft voice. His gazed shifted to the woman in the recliner. Now she was trying to get out but was probably groggy. He could tell from her sluggish movements. The demon slid his bangs away from his face to show his demonic eyes in their full glory. He stopped leaning against the cabinet and stood straight. The sword still laid on his hip. He never wandered without a weapon, especially in the underground. You never knew when some punk wanted to jump you for your money. He acclimated pretty well to the bad part of town.

"Damascus Arms Inc. My workplace."

There was no need to hide that information from her. He didn't know if she was familiar enough with the underground to know where the little weapons shop was. He stepped a bit closer but kept his distance.

"Be more careful next time. You're lucky I was there to get you out of that club."

Kiki scolded the girl in his calm, lightly accented voice. What she did was outright stupid. Deadly even. This was how pretty girls like her got hurt and kidnapped. Even so, he didn't mind helping her out too much. It was just an inconvenience really. He decided to hold off on the questions and wait for her. She likely had similar questions to his.

Her gaze shot, not to his face but the weapon at his side. Her lips parted as she stared at him; hardly registering the fact he was speaking. She did move toward him though, her hands outstretched to grasp at his shirt as she lost her footing.

She clung to his arm as she tried to find her footing and at some point she retched on the floor next to the man; gasping as tears began to pour down her face as she released the man to stumble away from him — and the sick spread on the floor.

As she stumbled backwards she came to rest rather roughly against the recliner, and a soft cry left her. She scrambled backwards and whispered, "Please take me back. Please."

She thought this was the man who'd roofied her. Her skin crawled at the thought — and she tried to make herself appear small. He had a sword. Was he going to kill her? Her eyes searched the stranger's face, and softly she murmured, "I... I'm sorry."

Why was she sorry? She had done nothing — but no, her master would proclaim this to be her fault; and she would be expected to apologize... This is the way she was taught — raised — conditioned. Her lower lip trembled as she stared at the man, sniffling quietly.

She had the urge to clean up her sick — to tidy this place up and leave. Master always made her clean up her messes, even if she was so sick she couldn't help it. Her hand lifted to wipe at her mouth and nose, as she sniffled again. "I want... Can I go home?"

It seems that his cautious side caused quite the predicament. The woman didn't know what happened at the club, so now she was fearful of the tall, imposing samurai. Of course she was. He should have thought about that. He watched her and didn't move as she used him as her support. Her movements were clearly unsteady; she required rest. Even so, her evident fear overrode her sense of reason it seems. She didn't hear anything he said. The demon wasn't sure why until he matched the eye line with the gaze's focus. The sword. His sword. Well shit then.

He didn't want to move because he didn't want her to fall flat on her face, but that facial expression looked suspiciously like queasiness. Sure enough, the contents of her stomach spilled all over the floor. Crap, now he would have to clean that up. Thankfully the jacket was still within the recliner, so it didn't get any vomit on it. A sigh escaped the man's lips. His hand gently stroked the woman's head. He had no intentions of harming her, and that was not changing now. It looks like she required some time and patience. Thankfully he was a very patient man.

"Get back in the recliner. I need to clean this mess up. I'll take you home after I'm done."

His voice had a gentler tone to it. As much as he wanted to take her home right away, Donny would be pissed if he just left this mess here. Besides, he felt compelled to clean since it his workplace and someone else's home. While consciously moving away from the mess, he attempted to guide her back to the recliner. He then wondered if it would be a better idea for him to take her to the bathroom. Either way he was trying to grab her gently so that he could lead the sick girl.

The girl allowed herself to be led to the recliner, where she sat anxiously staring about. Nighte's gaze flitted around the room, always settling back on the stranger. He'd petted her hair — much like her master did when he wanted to calm her... And that made her feel safe.

She rubbed her hands against her dress, staring upward as she mumbled, "How'd I get here?" She inquired, tipping her head to one side gently. This made her head swim, though she closed her eyes tightly and fell against the recliner, hugging the stranger's coat against her chest.

"I hurt..." She murmured the words; more to herself than to this man. Where had he said she was? Some kind of arms shop. Something Arms Inc. Her nose scrunched in thought as she stared at the ceiling, sniffling softly.

"Please let me go." Some part of her realized that she was in no state to go home — even if she did make it home, Evol would simply punish her and lock her in her room to ride this mess out. Another part of her did not want to go home — this part of her wanted to snuggle back against the stranger's chest; she was like a small kitten.

The stranger had felt so warm, whereas her vampire master was so... cold.

She was safe. She managed to end up with the right people. Kihaku didn't want to imagine the many ways this night could have ended badly for her. There were cleaning supplies stashed away in a compartment in the room. He knew that as an employee, so he instantly opened up that cabinet once she was settled in the recliner. He crouched low to pull them out and did his best to actively avoid the puddle of puke. He mumbled to himself in Japanese. It wasn't anything bad about the stranger; it was more commentary on this predicament he got himself into.

Just as he finished grabbing the supplies, he then heard something about her hurting. He glanced over at her with a concerned look on his face. The demon stood up and stepped over to scan the girl for signs of injury.

"Anywhere specific? I know where the medical supplies are if you need it."

Strange how he was being so kind to someone he didn't know. He certainly took a formal approach, but he remained warm and gentle. For a demon knight of Beelzebub, he was certainly playing the hero role. He just wished it wasn't so messy. His attention diverted to the mess. He began cleaning but could still talk to the girl just fine.

"I carried you here. I took down the man that drugged you. No, boy. No man would stoop so low."

He was a gentleman through and through. It was mixed in with his adaptation of the Bushido code. The katana leaned against the counter. He placed it there before grabbing the cleaning supplies. As much as he loved his swords, trying to clean with them was just plain inconvenient. Besides, anyone that attacked Damascus Arms Inc. for thievery purposes or otherwise was plain stupid. No one even liked fighting on this block in fear of Donny interfering with one of his big guns. This especially increased when it came to the arrival of Alice. He wanted his adopted daughter safe and healthy, and the samurai couldn't blame him for it.

"Let you go where? You're sick. I can take you home, but I'd rather not let you out into the streets like this. This isn't the time of day for a lady to be out on her own anyway."

Especially not in a place like this. He then recalled that he had failed to mention his name.

"My name is Kihaku, by the way."
