On Thin Ice

Charlie watched with concern and amusement as Jaxon fell down, and she internally sighed from relief when he didn't fall on his hurt hand. Charlie pushed herself to Jaxon, wobbling a bit as she stopped herself next to Jaxon.

"We can...do best..out of three."
Charlie said with a chuckle and bent down a bit to offer Jaxon a hand.

This time Charlie took great care she didn't pull on or hurt the hand that was injured, and he smiled a bit at Jaxon when he got up. Though her smile waivered when he stuck close to her, and Charlie blushed but helped keep Jaxon up. Even though her stomach was full of butterflies.
"I-it's okay...anytime..."

Charlie's blush died down a bit when Jaxon separated from her, and she chuckled when he saluted at her and spoke like a sports announcer.
"I'll...at least try. And...how about you? C-can you...catch up? "
Charlie said with a small smile, and pushed herself to movement again. This time her slide was a lot more seamless and steady, and she slowly let the momentum die down before pushing again, sliding along the edge of the rink, near the railing.

Charlie kept glancing over her shoulder yo check that Jaxon was following her, and blushed and quickly turned away every time their eyes accidentally met. Charlie knew she was acting strangely, but she couldn't help herself. Charlie didn't even know why she acted like this.

Charlie opened her mouth to answer Jaxon, when he poked her in the back. Immediately Charlie let out a small eep sound, blushed and straightened her back and legs. Which, of course, made her flail and fall on her stomach on the ice. Charlie lay in a starfish position on the ground for a few moments before quickly climbing on her knees, blushing from embarrassment. She looked up at Jaxon with a strange mix of kicked puppy and pouty on her face.
"T-that...surprised me..."

It didn't take long for Charlie to turn her head away, still blushing from embarrassment and because of something else. Charlie was also starting to wonder if she really was sick or something, nothing else could explain why she was feeling like this.
Charlie decided to ask Jazz later about it.

"I-it's...okay..I was...just clumsy..."
Charlie muttered, and pushed herself up bit unsteadily. She smiled shyly at Jaxon.
"Now...we're even. Next...to fall...loses."

Charlie was starting to get a feel to the skates, and though she with flushed cheeks used Jaxon's arm to lean on for a bit her legs lost their unstability. Charlie was good at athletics, and she was adjusting.
"What do...you mean by..that?"
Charlie asked with a confused expression as she let go of Jaxon's arm.
