"Well," He said as she left his arm. "I meant to say we both stay close, and when one of us falls, the other gets pulled down too."

Jaxon's legs shook as he suddenly wobbled, and with a start, he slipped in an extremely comical fashion, and with one leg over the other, fell on his back. "Never mind, I guess." He said with a laugh, pushing his arms underneath to pick himself up. "You won best out of three. Go on, decide your prize."

Charlie let out a quiet "Oooooh" when Jaxon explained what he meant, but it didn't take long for him to fall after saying that. Charlie let out a small laugh, mixed with worry. She skated behind Jaxon as he tried picking himself up and Charlie carefully took a hold from under his arms. Charlie lifted him up with ease, after all she could lift 500kg, and set him on his feet.
"I, um...don't really...need a price. This, I mean, skating...with you is...fun, and...a price enough."
Charlie blushed slightly again, but managed a shy smile at Jaxon as she backed up a bit.

It was strange being picked up like he was nothing by Charlie, and he made a mental note to take up weightlifting. Standing again, he rotated to face her. "Are you sure? I did make this a challenge"

He was glad she was enjoying herself, but she did seem to be getting worse. Her face was always red when he saw it. "Seriously, though. I can pay for lunch later if you want."

Charlie did keep telling herself, that she didn't need anything, being able to skate like this was already so much fun and more Charlie could hope for. She had never been that good at making friends so any friend she could make Charlie held precious.
And she opened her mouth to say that, but Jaxon suggested he would treat Charlie for lunch later, and that thought was very tempting. But Jaxon had already paid for this skating, Charlie couldn't let him pay for that too. But...Charlie wanted to have lunch with Jaxon.

"That..sounds fun. But, um...only if...I can..pay 25%..."
Charlie said and smiled bit shyly and unsurely at Jaxon.

"Well, sure then." If that was what she wanted to do, then he had no issue with that.

Since his falling, Jaxon seemed to have gotten much better, and spun in a small circle, though he did tilt a fair bit. Too bad he wasn't taller, he wanted to try something he saw on tv, where the man spun the woman around while he held her hand above her.

"Maybe a bit soon, but I haven't planned lunch," Jaxon said unsurely. "Do you have ideas?"

Charlie instinctively kept her arms out and ready to catch Jaxon, when he spun and almost fell. Although it made Charlie giggle a bit, and she tried spinning as well. And succeeded. Pretty well, actually. Charlie had good balance, after all, and sports sense. She spun again, this time smiling from the sheer joy of moving her body around.

Charlie stopped spinning and listened to Jaxon when he spoke, and when he basically asked Charlie out for lunch right now the butterflies in her stomach went crazy and her face, that had finally collected some blush from just moving, got flushed all over again.
"I, um...I'm not...picky. Maybe, um...somewhere with...good dessert?"
Charlie answered just as unsurely and shyly, she absolutely adored sweets.

Jaxon blinked in surprise as Charlie copied him and started spinning herself. She was much better than he was. With a small chuckle, he pondered the idea of her being a sidekick superhero.

"Oh, desserts, eh?" Jaxon said, nodding as he remembered a nearby chocolatier. He didn't mind having desserts for lunch. "I think I know a place. we have a bit left on our session here though, so would you like to go now, or later?"

It was a really tough choice between ice skating and desserts, Charlie really loved sweets but she was starting to like ice skating as well, and wanted to learn to do it better.
"I, uh, I'd...like to...stay a bit...longer."
Charlie said unsurely, looking down on her toes, hopefully Jaxon wasn't already bored of skating and wanted to leave. Since it seemed like he wasn't really getting the hang of it as well as Charlie.

"Okay, then." He nodded. Jaxon had no problem with Charlie's decision, he only asked because he wanted to ask her something. As his legs shook, he tried to push himself along. But to no avail.

"Hey, Charlie." He said finally, calling out from his location on the cold ice. "I know, this is payment for tutoring, but do you mind teaching me how to skate?"

Watching Jaxon attempting to ice skate was kind of like watching a baby horse stand for the first time, kind of wobbly and unsure. Charlie didn't go far away, keeping an eye on Jaxon im case he began to fall. She had already pretty much mastered skating forward, and was attempting to skate backwards, using that as a reason to look back at Jaxon. While blushing, of course.

When Jaxon called her name Charlie stopped and skated over to the boy, stopping herself with a smooth motion couple of feet away. Upon hearing Jaxon's request Charlie smiled and giggled a bit, nodding.
"Of course...I can teach you...I, um, like...teaching you."
Charlie looked down shyly.
"F-first, um...you should...straighten y-your...ankles."
