There was a clear nip in the air and it was a bit strange for Charlie, who was used to warm weather. She had wrapped her scarf a bit tighter around her neck today as she made her way through the city, towards the address Jaxon had said was the ice rink. Charlie was kind of unsure and scared about this, she had only been tutoring Jaxon thus far, what if he would get bored of her company in the middle of this? But at the same time Charlie was excited, she had never ice skated and she wanted to try it, even if it lasted only for a while before Jaxon got bored.
Jaxon was a really nice person, to spend time with Charlie even when he didn't have to. Charlie hoped they could maybe be friends at some point.

Charlie arrived at the address pretty soon, and she was a bit early. It was a nervous habit for Charlie to always leave too early, she didn't want to inconvenience anyone by being late. She stopped in front of the building that was obviously the ice rink, judging by the sign on the wall, and Charlie entered the lobby in order to wait for Jaxon. It was warmer inside but still a bit chillier than usual, after all it was the ice rink.

Jaxon was Happy. His studies were going well, and his grades were actually improving. Just the other day, he managed to stop a mugger too. Grinning, he showed up at the Rink a bit later than planned, as he had to bandage his arm first. it was hidden under his jacket, so as long as he didn't stretch it too much, he was fine.

Spotting Charlie, he waved and made his way over. "Hey, Charlie," He said with a smile, sounding happier than he did normally. "Waiting long?"

Charlie sat waiting for almost 20 minutes, before Jaxon arrived. She didn't really mind at all, after all Charlie had been the one early, and she was toying with her phone when Jaxon called out to her. Charlie jumped a bit and turned to look at Jaxon, he looked happy and instinctively Charlie answered his smile with her own smaller one.
"N-no, I didn't...wait for that long."
Charlie answered, shaking her head a bit, and stood up.

"This, um...is the first time...I've been to an ice rink. So...I'll be...in your care."
Charlie said, and tugged her scarf as she blushed slightly.

She didn't seem to be bored, so she couldn't have been long, and Jaxon accepted her answer, nodding. "Well, I paid earlier to get in, do you know your shoe size?"

Jaxon smiled, and tapped the top of her head, though he had to reach since she was taller. "Well, I'm not that good, but hold onto me when you feel like you're gonna fall."

Charlie nodded a bit when Jaxon asked if she knew her shoe size, and felt a bit guilty he had paid for her too.
"I'll...pay you back...later."

The way Jaxon patted Charlie's head made the girl blush bit deeper, and there was a strange feeling in her stomach. It felt really different from when Jazz patted her head, and Charlie couldn't do anything else but nod a bit at what Jaxon said. Just the thought that she'd hold onto him made Charlie's cheeks feel even warmer.
"I-I'll...Okay..."
Charlie said, her voice got small and squeky as she said okay, and tugged her scarf, she'd follow Jaxon since she didn't know where to go.

Jaxon waved it off her idea to repay him. "Just say it's the tutor cost." He said he was going to take her ice skating, so he couldn't ask her to pay, even if she wanted to.

The girls face was read, he noticed, and she felt warm to the touch. "Are you okay? Do you have a fever or anything, since it's a bad idea to skate when you are sick." It would be horrible if he made her do this if she had to stay in bed.

Charlie opened her mouth to protest, she was tutoring Jaxon because she wanted to and liked it, but closed it after a moment. She didn't want to start debating, she could just talk about it to Jaxon later or treat him to something in order to pay him back.

Oh no, Jaxon noticed how flushed Charlie was. Even though she herself wasn't sure why she was so flustered. But for now Charlie shook her head, she didn't know what exactly was going on but she wasn't sick.
"I'm okay...I guess...the scarf is making me...a bit warm."
Charlie said and tried to smile a bit.

"Well, uh, If it's making you a bit warm, would you like to leave it with our other belongings?"

They were at the desk now, and he told his size to the lady behind the counter. "If my shoes stink, we can throw them out." He laughed. Maybe a joke would make her a bit more confident.

Taking a step back, he now had his skates in his hand. "Well, if nothing else, we can put it around your waist. little fashion statement and all that."

Leave her scarf? Just the thought made Charlie nervous, and she began to shake her head. But she had already said she was hot because of the scarf, it would be strange to keep it on. Charlie fidgeted with her scarf, and slowly nodded as she looked down on it.
"I'll...do that."

On the desk Charlie told her own shoe size to the person behind it as well, and she did chuckle a bit at Jaxon's joke.

Charlie got her own skates, and began taking off her scarf just as Jaxon suggested she wore it around her waist instead. Charlie felt a big surge of relief, she had really not wanted to leave her scarf behind in addition to having to show her face. Charlie carefully nudged the scarf off and tied it around her waist. It was a weird, almost naked feeling when she lifted her head and smiled slightly at Jaxon.
"How do we...get to...to the ice?
