Aletia was walking down the beach. She noticed two people sitting beside each other, digging their hands into the sand and pulling them out once more. She smiled. She hadn't seen anyone for a while, and she was a little bored. Aletia walked closer towards the duo. She was able to make out their genders and ages. It seemed one was a boy, 14-years-old by her way of judging. The other one was a girl, 12-years of age instead, like herself. A smile appeared on her face.

"Hi," she said to them.

Ian turned to the girl who had just said hi to him and Adelina. "Hello." he said smiling as he brushed the sand off his hands.

Aletia smiled. "It's Aletia! Hey, isn't it a bit cold out here? That Winter Dance has begun! Even though I don't like dancing..." Aletia went a touch red. She hadn't mean to say that.

"Anyway," she said, turning to the boy, "What's your name?"

"I'm Ian." replied Ian, "I went to the dance before...it was kind of boring." Ian shrugged.

Aletia smiled, saying, "Nice to meet you, Ian." She said shutting her eyes and turning her head towards the sea. She opeend her eyes ocne more, taking a seat in between the two, but not so close that they had to move. The waves came crashing down on the sand, getting ever closer to the trio. The wind blew softly against their faces, adding a sense of calmnes and control. Lightning blew in the background, yet no rain fell. It was weird, yet Aletia gave no notice of it. She was simply happy the way things were to worry.

Ian proped his elbows up on his knees and rested his head on his arms as he looked out at the sunset's reflection on the ripply water of the ocean.

"well." Ian turned and looked at her, "I could think of more fun things right now," he laughed a little, "But so far, this is about the best thing I could find to do around here since I came." he said looking back out onto the water.
