On the Hunt

"Your praise oh so kind." declared Ankh, receptive of his admiration of her. While a bit of luck played a part in her shot, she felt no need to mention that little aside. As she striped the meat off a rib with her teeth, her gaze feasted on the eye candy as Daenmor poised himself more comfortably. As she ate, she noticed him staring at her but... perhaps was deep in thought. Before she thought she could question it he spoke up about how they may clean up at a nearby river.

"Ah. In that case we why do not make our way there now. I think I am about finished with my meal." stated the sphinx, whom then looked down to see what remained of the creature. The peryton's rump was long gone and its legs gnawed pieces of bone. Little remained of torso has most of the rib meat was consumed and its organs harvested with only the creatures head and wings not devoured. She contemplated if the remains were even worth carrying along as she picked her teeth with bone, perhaps the head would make a nice trophy to remember this occasion by.

"I could use a bit of drink." she mentioned as she stood up, carrying what remained of her prize by the antlers. Now that she was up she was ready to follow Daenmor's lead.

Their destination reach, Ankh set her carcass next to to Daenmor's by the side of the river. She prances over to go test the water with one of her paws to get a judge of its temperature, which cool to the touch.

"Yes, I believe that will work just fine." agreed Ankh, staring longingly at the running water before she looked to Daenmor whom wasted no time in entering the water. She watched as he cleansed himself, beads of water dripping off the defined contours of his masculine body as it glistened wet in shimmering sun that penetrated the canopy. Without thinking she bites her lower lip before he called to her, asking if she needed assistance with a cocky grin and sly wink to entice her in. And damn did it reel her in.

"I would much appreciate that help actually." she thanked while slowly slipping her way into the water. Once her paws touch the riverbed, she wades her way over Daenmor.

"Do you think can scrub my rear for me? Its difficult for me reach back there." asked Ankh, with playful smirk creeping on her face as she purposely presses her butt up to him while her tail wraps against his leg.

Though she came to him with flirtatious intent, Daenmor simply was her rump with water and gentle caress. A soft touch that does not stray far nor deviate from the task at hand. While Daenmor covers her back, she submerged her torso into the cool waters and removes her body of as much dirt before resurfacing. She shakes her head and body of the water that still cling in her hair.

Now they had surfaced, she removes linens that droop on her torso as she thoroughly soaks and wrings them dry several times until most of the grime of blood was washed away. Now that they are clean, she rewraps her clothes back onto her body though they are still a bit damp. At least it feels pleasantly cool to the skin.

"Mhmmm... I say that I am thoroughly clean now. What of you dear? Cleaned and prepped" inquired Ankh, turning her body as she adjusts her the linens that hang over her breast so they do not fall out of place. Her eyes flicker up and down as she inspects him for... cleanliness before she looks to his eyes for an answer.

Ankh eyed Daenmor as he exited the water and watch with quite affection as he shakes himself dry. As she to stepped out of water, she took the opportunity to shake herself of most of the water before she raises her powerful wings to air dry the moisture that still clung to her body. As she does this, she listens to Daenmor asking the question of what to do next. With their hunt complete and their bodies washed it made her wonder how else they could spend the day with each other. Seeing that they were losing daylight, she looks to a now clothed Daenmor and answers.

"Well... as we have set out to what we have come her to day, perhaps its times to return with our trophies in hand? Or what remains of them them at least. How about we-" the sphinx then pauses and thinks. While part of her wished to visit his home there was the inconvenience that she had not on her person her human sized charm with them. So in this case, it made the most sense that they should maybe regroup at her home and... see how things plan out "- fly on over to my place. Drop our things off there. Figure things out... and maybe give you a tour?"

"You can say I have fine tastes~ Us Sphinx are used to grandeur." mused Ankh as the two of them finally arrived.

On the outside it would appear as though it was ancient Egyptian temple rebuilt in the middle of modern city with heavy sandstone blocks providing study construction. And she spared no expense as its mighty walls are adored into craved reliefs Egyptian life while sculpted statues of stone adorn around and on top of the complex. Though it appears massive in construction, to one such as Ankh she finds it dimensions comfortable and homely.

"With all that has changed, its nice have place that feels familiar." stated the Sphinx as she saunters over to the entrance and pushes back the large, decorated doors to allow entry for the both of them.

Upon entering, Daenmor would be greeted by a great atrium. Holding up the ceiling are large columns that hug close tot he walls, each craved from a single piece of stone. Though the lack of windows prevent any natural light in save from the front door, large brazers and hanging lanterns illuminate the space with the warm glow fire. Illuminated by these flares are painted frescoes detailing the mythology and lifestyles of the ancient Egyptian people that seem to cover most of the walls inside. Standing in the four corners of the room are large statues of black stone, at least 10 feet tall, made in the style of protective Egyptian gods which seem to stand vigil. While in the dead center of the room is large, rectangular stone pedestal as equally decorated as the surroundings walls with equally large, bronze khopeshs holstered within recesses carved into the stone. To the left and right, between the stone columns, are large doorways that appear to lead to adjacent rooms while in the far back there is another large door similar to the entrance and closed off.
