Violet bit her lip as a wave of depression hit her full force. One minute she had been happily conversing with her twin, the next she clammed up and her face showed depths of sadness.
Her twin, Joe, stared at her with a compassionate look as Violet stood from the bed they had been sitting on and walked out of te dorm. Violet didn't even cast her sister one last glance as she left. Once she closed the door, she stared at the ground and walked out of the academy. She looked up when she saw green grass below her feet. Looking around, she figured out exactly where she was and headed in the direction of the lake.
Ten minutes later Violet found a spot right near the body of water with no one around it. A fallen tree lay there also, so she laid down along the trunk and stared sightlessly up at the sky while focusing in on the sound of the rustling of the water.
