Steven in last few days had been turned on its head. The discovery of his powers, the knowledge of an island not on any map for those that were different. It was quite a lot to take in. However he was here now. He had only got off the ship, in the early hours of the morning. He had been shown the dorms he would be staying at for the foreseeable future and rather then settle in had simply thrown his bags down. Falling into his new bed and sleeping off the trip had been tempting, however curiosity had gotten the better of him.

He knew that technically he wasn't going to be starting at the school until the next day, but he felt drawn to the centre of learning. Dressed in his normal clothes, though some what creased by the travel, it was only half an hour later that Steven found himself walking the halls of the school buildings. Aimlessly, just taking in the layout and avoiding those who had been starting to arrive for the start of the school day. He wasn't entirely sure if he should have been walking around the school before he had started.

It wasn't long though, until Steven found something that was able to turn his aimless wandering into some form of direction. Quite predictable for those that knew him, not that any people here actaully did yet, the subject of his attention was the school library. Walking inside, opening the door in a somewhat tentative fashion, Steven stepped inside and was taken by the size of the library in comparison to the school he had been at before.

It was still early, and some student were wasting away the time until classes started in the library. Those that had arrived earlier then strictly needed. Different shapes and size, just like other he passed in the halls. Still not completely use to it, Steven push the from his mind and instead moved towards one of the bookshelves. Running his finger along the spines as he went, Steven pulled a random book of the shelf and move to one of the chair in the room. Taking a seat as if he was meant to be there, even though he was clearly not a college student and not in uniform. He simply opened the book and started reading, and blinked. It wasn't often that what Steven read went over his head, he wasn't stupid but completely foreign concepts he had never come across before. An entire new range of thing to learn about and understand, and no family drama to distract from it.

As much as his world had been turned upside down. Steven couldn't help but feel like he was going to enjoy his life here.

Victor, having been in the library for awhile, hidden away at his desk in the corner, noticed the Boy walk and grab a book. The boy stood out, not wearing the Uniform. From his short experience at Starlight, this meant that he was either new and had yet to get a Uniform, or that he was a University Student.

Either way, he decided to leave him alone for the time being. Besides, the book on Magic Runes he was reading was quite the page turner.

Having finished the book he was reading, he went over and placed it back on the shelf. Having a good memory, he knew the book that the boy was reading from its position on the shelf. A book on Alchemy. Not for light reading. Definitely a University level Textbook. Was he okay reading it? Even Victor would struggle.

Looking over, he saw that the boy (had to be about his age, though definitely taller) was struggling, though it wasn't obvious.

Not wanting to surprise the boy (He didn't know what the boy was like, would he try to attack if surprised?) He instead put entropy to zero and, grabbing a similar, though somewhat easier to understand book, and put it on the desk next to the boy, along with a note that read:

To the boy with the red hair,
Sorry if this note was a little startling, but I didn't want To disturb you. The book you are reading is at a Uni level and might be hard to understand. If you wanted to read about that topic, in particular, I've placed an easier book next to you.

Yours,
Castle

Not wanting to be noticed, he sat back down in his chair, just as a migraine started to form. Had to start making the power timer soon, he thought as he turned Entropy back to 100%. He moved his glasses, rubbing his eyes, then blinked, wanting to see how the boy would react.

Flicking through the pages of the book he had taken. Steven didn't notice the new book and note appear on the table at first. To focused on trying to understand what he was already reading. Though as Steven started to become frustrated by not understanding the book content, he closed it and sighed. As his attention no longer was dedicated on reading, Steven saw the book and note at least and raised an eyebrow. He was sure it wasn't there when he had sat down, but no one had been near him since as far as he could tell. Even though he had been distracted he still would have heard someone if they had got so close to him.

Shrugging to himself, Steven reached out and place the first book next to second and picked up the note to read. The content of the note, my his eyebrow raise once more, and then he looked up from it and around the room wondering who the note had been written by. While it contained an name, beyond that it really gave no indication who out of the people in the room had put it there. Folding the note in half, Steven slipped it into one of his jacket's numerous pockets.

"Thank you."

Steven said aloud to the room, though he tried to balance the volume of his voice between loud enough so that Castle, whoever that was, would hear but not be loud enough to disturb people. He was in a library after all. Sliding from his chair, Steven grabbed the university level book and returned it to where he had found it, and then came back to his chair. Dropping back down gently, Steven then took the more basic book and opened it up to read. While the contents were still foreign to him, they were at least presented in a way he could possible begin to understand.

Elizabeth had been sat on the windowsill, half hidden behind a curtain when she saw a boy, probably a little older than herself, walk into the library. It was clear he was new here as he lacked the school's uniform and he had still looked half lost when he tentatively opened the door. He picked up a book seemingly at random. If her memory was correct, and it almost always was, it was a fairly advanced level book on runes. Elizabeth saw that he was trying his best to read through the book but was still finding it difficult. "Why on earth would you pick up a book without even looking at it," Elizabeth muttered to herself, " and why would you carry on reading it?" She shook her head a little and turned her attention back to her own book. No matter how much she watched other people, she would never understand how illogical they could be.

Before long a grey haired figure, Victor, caught her eye. Elizabeth noticed him staring at the new boy. It seemed he could also tell he was struggling a little with his choice of book. A moment later he had moved and Elizabeth spotted a new book on the red-heads desk. Victor was still sat where he had been but he was looking more intently at the boy, waiting for him to notice what he'd done. A smart idea, not to startle him. Probably rather nice of him too, to try and help him out a little. The new boy took a while to notice the gift but when he saw it the old book was discarded and he began to read the more basic one instead.

Elizabeth was curious what powers Victor had that enabled him to do that. Invisibility? Teleportation? Superspeed? She closed her book and made her way over to him. Pulling out a chair next to him she sat down and rather abruptly asked, "what power do you have."

While for all pretenses he was reading, internally he was chuckling to himself that no-one had noticed his helping the boy. So much that he didn't even notice the girl that had sat next to him. She had been behind a curtain

"what power do you have?" she had asked. It was a simple question, though terribly blunt.

She couldn't have seen him, could she? No, he decided, else she would have seen what his power was. The girl was probably just curious, wanting to meet new people, after all, he had never seen her before, so she must be new.

"What do you mean?" he replied. It could be his time stop ability she was referring too, but then again, he was reading a book on Government.

Looking at her, Victor guessed she was a year younger, though about 5-6 inches taller. The look on her face was a bit strange, it was like looking at a robot, there was hardly any emotion at all. Had to be a robot, or at least act like one.

Steven flicked through the first few pages on the book of alchemy, reading as he did so. It seemed that while it was a disciple of magic, it was one that was more like science then he expected other forms were. The idea intruiged him, and it seemed like a clever plan to look further into it, seeing as he was quite intelligent. Though not really that smart in someways. Mostly when it came to understanding people, but he tried.

The book as the note from Castle had said was much easier to understand, and as such it didn't demand as much of his attention as the previous one did. As such he saw women crossing the room, over the top of the book and sit down next to another boy. He didn't really think much of it, at least until he heard what the women asked.

"What power do you have?" Steven eyebrowed raised at the question. Wondering how the boy would react. He hadn't been around the supernatural for long believing it to be simply stories, but ever since he had been wondering what exactly was the right way to ask people. Would they find it rude and insulting, or was it considered a mundane occurance. As such Steven watched curious, and listened as the boy awnsered.

"What do you mean?" Not what he had expected, because to Steven the only meaning he could think of was that she was asking about his abilties, due to the fact Steven couldn't see what the boy was reading that could change its meaning. The boy didn't seem to mind that much, and Steven wondered about how he woild react to the question himself.

He didn't think he would mind, though maybe explaining the detrimental phycological effect his powers had on him didn't sound as appealing. Sighing to himself, Steven closed the book he was holding planning to check it out later but for now folding it under his left arm and getting up.

Crossing the room to the pair, Steven cleared his throat quitely. "Excuse me could I ask a question. I don't technically start here till tommorow will the let me check this out still?" Steven asked using that as an excuse to attempt to join the conversation and hopefully get to know someone at the school, and also curious about how the rest of the conversation they had been having would go.

While trying to decipher what the girl had said, the other boy, the one Victor had given the book, had come over.

"Excuse me could I ask a question. I don't technically start here till tomorrow will the let me check this out still?" He had asked.

Victor pondered the question. He was enrolled, but not starting yet. Being a puzzle, he looked around for a librarian. "Uh, I think a librarian might be a better help than us in that regard."

While he was a recluse, he was observant in regards to tactics. Though it was a natural question to ask, there was a bit of distance between the desks, it would have been easier to just go to a librarian, as the hub was closer to him.

With that knowledge, Victor was certain that he knew that he was "Castle" or overheard the prior Conversation.

"What do you mean?"
Well, it wasn't really the answer she was expecting. How did he not know what he meant? The book he was reading surely wasn't enough to confuse him. Sure, it was about government but around here if you get asked what power you have it means why are you here. Before she could bring herself to ask again after such a silly reply, the new boy walked over to their table and asked,
"Excuse me could I ask a question. I don't technically start here till tomorrow will they let me check this out still?"
Victor replied with
"Uh, I think a librarian might be a better help than us in that regard."
Elizabeth wasn't entirely sure why the newbie had come over to their table to ask considering that the desk was a lot closer to where he had previously been sat. She suspected that he had overheard her blunt question and was curious to hear the conversation. Perhaps he just wanted to make a friend. It seemed an illogical way to join the conversation though it would have made more sense to Elizabeth if he had just introduced himself. After a moment of silence she turned back to victor,
"I thought it was fairly self explanatory. What power do you have? What enabled you to put that book on this persons desk *gesturing to the red haired boy* without seeming to move?"
As she waited for a reply she turned to the red head and said,
"You can sit down you know. What's your name?"

The boy of the two other, replied not awnsering his question but telling him who might. That hadn't worked as well as he been hoping as a means to enter the conversation, until the girl chimed up, revealing that the boy...who must have been castle had been the one who had given him the book and telling him he could sit. Steven didn't sit instead offering out a hand to the boy. "Castle I presume? I'm Rosett, Steven Rosett. Thank you." Steven introduced himself while offering his gratitude.

Then looking towards the girl, he wondered how exactly she had managed to figure out the guy had been the one that gave him the book. When he hadn't seen or heard anything at all.

Well, if he didn't know earlier, the Boy definitely knew now. He weakly shook Steven's hand, while frowning at the girl sitting next to him. Why and how did she know about him doing- wait, was she staring at him the entire moment he stopped time?

He mentally slapped himself. Victor should have paid attention to his surroundings. "My names Victor actually."

Sighing, he looked back at the girl. Steven had obviously entered the conversation to hear his answer. Before he came to starlight, he would have just left, but nowadays, he felt obligated to answer. "I can stop time,"

He stopped time for a moment, just to do something... a bit out of character. "Sorry if a bit intrusive, but I just checked both of your ID's. Steven Rosett, 17 years old and from England. Elizabeth Follet, 16 and American."

To be fair, he then held his own Identification. "Victor Castleton. 17, Australian. Sorry again, I just struggle with names."
